He got one of the most massive reactions in recent memory when he face turned on Miz, was given great entrance music and main evented Raw for about a month, and then fell off the face of the planet. I know he's doing commentary for their B-shows, so what gives? Did he suffer some sort of Nowinski-type injury or what? 2. I really have no interest in ever seeing Sting perform in a WWE ring, but I have to admit that even with their limited abilities at this point, Sting vs. Undertaker would be a pretty awesome spectacle. I know you've said Taker-Cena is a lock for WrestleMania right now, but if they somehow got Sting to work the event would they change their plans to give us Sting-Taker, instead? 2b. Hey Scott, Just curious, what's the deal with Smackdown nowadays? I keep up with wrestling through your rants, and it seems that not even hearing about Smackdown and what happens there means absolutely nothing to my ability to stay on top of what's happening at the PPV. They have NXT for developmental, so is Smackdown just some glorified clip show now or something? Is it even still on the air? I watch it on Hulu occasionally but it's pretty much designed to be disposable, because everyone is trained that only big stuff happens on RAW anyway.  It is 100% skippable and a good chunk of the show is indeed RAW clips.  So no, you're not missing anything.

Hey now, spoilers, man. I was pretty checked out of wrestling at this point and I never even saw the original title change, but the notion of the Natural Disasters as babyfaces was always a weird one for me.  Odd as it sounds, the internet scene really rekindled my passion for THIS BUSINESS again when I discovered it in 93.

The main event will be Hart/Hogan vs. Savage/Piper, but the interesting (by comparison) question is what happens to Sting and the tag titles. Odds are Sting is going to pick a side soon, but that doesn't really do much overall. It's just more of the same faction wars which have dominated the company for months now. Let's get to it.

Hey guys, So i'm hitting a bit of a hard time right now financially (as i'm sure many of us are), to the point were we're struggling to put food on the table. I'm waiting to start a full time job working in a school, but i'm waiting a very long time for my CRB to come back. In the mean time, i've been doing paid freelance media work, which is starting to bring in cash. Problem being, I got in so much debt in the mean time paying the bills that it's barely making a dent. Hi Scott,   I'm not sure if this has been covered before, but I've always been curious about Sid's 1992 heel turn. It seemed like a slam dunk to bring him in as the heir apparent to Hogan, but then he suddenly turned against Hulk.   Was the plan all along to turn Sid heel? If not, when and why did it change?   Thanks! Brian Totally the plan all along.  In fact originally Sid was going to go over Hulk at Wrestlemania, before Hulk decided that retirement wasn't really something he was interested in pursuing after all.  

        I had NO problem with Triple H's promo last night as long as it leads to the logical conclusion of Triple H actually putting Bryan over clean in the middle of the ring.  I would have Bryan win Sunday and hold the belt till the Rumble when Triple H is forced to bring in Brock Lesnar to take the belt off Bryan.  Bryan would then be free to face Triple H at Wrestlemania in an "I Quit" career match.  Triple H puts Bryan over clean and Bryan is officially labeled A-list                                              Oh, and then Santa Claus is revealed to be a real person, who then drops down from the sky and gives everyone in the audience a million dollars each before curing cancer and finding a good timeslot for Community.  

Do you think WWE would consider giving Goldust a run as World champion?  I don't see any possibility as WWE champion, but the World title is practically an upper mid-card belt and Goldust is more over than 90% of the roster so he would make a great transitional champion. Let's not go crazy here.  He's burned them before.

So a quick word.  Why is this going up the morning after and not at my usual right after the show?  Well, on Saturday night, I tripped while holding my laptop and it caused a cable to come loose.  I figured, no problem, it's a quick turnaround, so I sent it to Best Buy's Geek Squad to get fixed.  Well, everyone else felt the same way, and it's still there in the queue to get repaired.  However, I am nothing if not resourceful, so I figured I could connect to the PlayStation Network and post from there.  Unfortunately, the "New Post" screen couldn't load.  Option C was to email the rant to Scott, but for reasons I can't fathom, PSN has a character limit on each text box.  The end result was that I took notes on index cards, transcribed them to text blurbs I saved on Yahoo Notepad, and pasted them all together here.  This should not be a problem next week, because if my computer's still in the shop, I will probably be suffering from withdrawal ...

Just wanted to update you about the wrestling stuff from New York Comic-Con. It wasn't too much and the big WWE panel with Kane happened the day of my brother's wedding so I wasn't able to attend, but I took some pictures of wrestling dolls and figured maybe that'd do. Things I missed: The Sheamus signing at the Mattel booth. The Sunday WWE Studios See No Evil presentation with Kane. I did not take my picture with Greg Valentine, Tito Santana, Brutus Beefcake or some other guy who was there. I tried to take their photo but a woman came jumping into the way to prevent lookie-lous like me from getting a free snap. She earned her money. I did not talk to Sgt. Slaughter who had his own booth on the main floor. All of them, except for the woman, looked like hell. I guess Sarge seemed to be in pretty good shape. Is he hard up for money? I thought he was working for WWE. Why is he doing cons like this? I understand Hulk and Brooke Hogan were there. I did not see either of the...
