Yeah, that career seems to be working out real well for her. Kind of sad when it was easy to guess which former WWF star would possibly be at a porn convention in the first place.
It's not fair that Chyna besmirches the good name of porn. She was messed up long before they got to her.
ReplyDeleteNow THAT's funny! Besides, I doubt she was the only one passed out. Porn stars are probably the only group of people on earth that do more drugs than wrestlers.
ReplyDeleteIt's funny how the guys who subtly have drug problems but seem fine day to day die suddenly or kill their families out of the blue, but the ones who are a constant train wreck can hang in there for years. I guess I'm lucky to never have gone down that road outside of a couple of months where I probably partied too much in college, and I'm not judging people who end up in tough situations due to past experiences, etc, but I don't see how someone like her can not look in the mirror one morning and say "You know, I'm pretty fucked up, aren't I?" But I guess if you knew you were crazy you wouldn't be crazy.
ReplyDeleteOh nJoanie. Wheean will we stop bpaying atttenintion to whow fuceked ujp you are? As soon as peopel foreget how famous she was she'll just die quesietly ijn a ditc somewhere or actualll get help for herslef. Her problemes go beond just booze drug and cock addidiction
ReplyDeleteSay hi to Chyna in rehab for us.
ReplyDeleteYeah, this isn't going to end well.
ReplyDeleteSo what are the odds that when she dies from a drug overdose or similar she will be listed in the news as a WWF wrestler, rather than a porn star?
ReplyDeleteThis is certainly not directed at you personally as I'm not sure what position you are coming from, but I always find it kind of funny when people say things like this.
ReplyDeleteI mean, is the possibility pro-wrestling and the "good name of the WWE" being attacked in the mainstream media more troublesome than someone being dead?
It's sort of moot anyways isn't it -- this is a company that once continued a pay-per-view in front of an audience that just watched a guy plummet to his death. If that kind of bad press can't hurt you, then I don't think anything can.
Hahaha, zing!
ReplyDeleteI am pretty sure the porn industry is nothing like the 80s.
ReplyDeleteIs it too late to add her to my "dead pool"?
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure that porn actors today are most likely to read comics and play computer games.
ReplyDeleteNice mimicry of her tweets. I wonder when will Vince and HHH get their comeuppance now if she's in this condition. She promised us. sniff sniff
ReplyDeleteI wonder what Triple H thinks about what has happend to her. I'm not even joking, they used to be close and I would just be curious about his opinion.
ReplyDeleteWhy wasn't she already on it??
ReplyDeleteYou know it was wierd that he barely talked about her in his book. I would be curious on his thoughts of her as well.
ReplyDeleteShe moved past Raven and Scott Hall for #1 on my list a few months back
ReplyDeleteYou have Raven ahead of Jake Roberts, either Hardy, Sabu, etc. etc.? He loves to party but he's not a falling apart mess or anything. Unless he catches AIDS, I guess.
ReplyDeleteTriple H has a book? Is it good like Foley, Hart, and Flair or is it like Michaels, Hogan and Austin?
ReplyDeleteIt's mostly about workout techniques with a few details about his life. Triple H is a pretty private guy though, I doubt we're going to get much until he's retired retired or Vince is dead.
ReplyDeleteI would just like to say that plenty of shows have continued after the death of a performer.
ReplyDeleteThey probably get more money if they read comics and play computer games. Nerd chic is in right now.
ReplyDeleteAnd most wrestlers are pretty dorky as well.
Oh right the workout book. Well seeing as how I am already certified as a personal trainer and have years of training experience myself I don't think I need to pick it up. Good for Paul though for keeping his life private. Always seemed like he had his act together more then most.
ReplyDeleteHow can anyone be higher in the pool then Hall
ReplyDeleteSee Kid, Dynamite.
ReplyDeleteYeah I'm not going to buy it either, I just remember reading about it on wikipedia.
ReplyDeleteFor all the shit Triple H gets, he does have his life together, kids, wife, no drug problems, not trouble with the law, no public breakdowns, if the worst you can say about someone is that some of their coworkers don't like them, they're not doing too bad.
Very true -- my intention was not really to judge it though, although if you want my personal opinion of it, I thought it was certainly in bad taste.
ReplyDeleteMy point is just that although the media crucified them at the time, it didn't seem to hurt them in the long-run, so I don't think Chyna being associated with the WWE is going to hurt them now even if she ends up 'yet another dead wrestler'. It just seems weird to me that people might be more concerned with pro-wrestling being besmirched than the possibility of someone being dead.
I actually agree with Adam Wright here. Of course WWE being unfairly identified in the story pales to comparison to the death of a human being, but that's sort of irrelevant. First off, it's lazy journalism. Secondly, intentional or not, it points a finger at an organization that had nothing to do with her death. In cases of Umaga (who WAS identified as a WWE Superstar despite not being with the company at the time of his death), the company actively tried to get him help but he refused. Yet, that won't be mentioned in the story. Will it hurt WWE in the grand scheme of things? No, probably not. But it's still unnecessary.
ReplyDeleteI'd cheat on my death pool anyway: Khali & Big Show. Not that there's anything wrong with them that we know of, but giants die young.
ReplyDeleteJenna Jameson doesn't do films anymore and still makes money speaking at colleges and writing books. She's like the Norman Mailer of taking shaft.
ReplyDeleteShe past out again today. Should there be a new thread for each time it happens this weekend? Or just keep it all here?
ReplyDeletePro wrestling has been smirched before and will be smirched again, the only time people bring up the deaths is when they're blasting pro wrestling for something else. Honestly, the people that I know who don't respect pro wrestling think it's stupid, they don't give a flying fuck about how many wrestlers died.
ReplyDeleteLet's be honest here, the only people who really, actually give a shit about pro wrestling? Is us, the smarks, we're the people who get upset when another worker dies before fifty, when a promising star breaks his neck, when a PPV doesn't do well. Nobody cares other than us.
Big Show had the same ailment as Andre, but had surgery to correct it and is fine now. Not sure what Kahli's deal is though.
ReplyDeleteshe is terrible. i have to say. no redeeming qualities.
