The RYBACK

I will say this much for the Ryback push -- the most intriguing main events tend to be those where both guys should win and neither one should lose, and that's definitely what they've got coming up with Punk-Ryback.  However, I REALLY REALLY REALLY wish they hadn't painted themselves into a corner with the HIAC stip, because clearly this is the perfect time for Ryback to beat the shit out of Punk and Punk to walk out of the match and leave the arena like a coward.  I don't often advocate that finish, but this would have been the place.  But since they can't really do Sheamus-Show in the Cell yet, they have to have SOMETHING in the namesake match for the show, and Ryback-Punk is it. Maybe Ryback throws Punk through the cage door, and then Punk runs away and drives out of the arena?  I dunno, but at least I'm somewhat interested in how they're gonna screwjob this one up, so that's...something?  I guess?

Comments

  1. Burn a Brock appearance to make the save and set up a Team Heyman vs. Team Cena/Ryback for Survivor? Gotta do something to spin the wheels a bit until Rock gets back, right?

    ReplyDelete
  2. The thing I'm worried about is Ryback is sloppy and didn't others not want to work with him just a few months ago because they were afraid of getting hurt? This is going to be the first time Ryback will be in a one on one main event. He'll have to work more than five minutes with Punk of course. I'm worried Ryback will screw up and injur Punk, he's been compared to Golberg so much I guess I'm getting worried Punk will be Bret Hart to Rybacks Goldberg.

    ReplyDelete
  3. I'm totally on board with the Ryback experiment mainly for 3 reasons:

    1. What Scott said

    2. It's refreshing to see them just fucking go with a guy, none of that 50/50 start/stop bullshit

    3. He's over, and that adds immensely to my enjoyment of an angle

Yeah he's not great in the ring, but for me the positives easily outweigh that negative. I totally expected a lame duck finish to Punk's reign where there's no doubt he keeps the belt until the Rumble. Now there's some intrigue.

    ReplyDelete
  4. Suck ass Disqus AGAIN?? Really? REALLY!? Really!

    ReplyDelete
  5. I'm just glad it's not Cena AGAIN. Anyone else feel like Punk is getting buried every single week? I wonder if he's just phoning it in now. Can't say I blame him.

    ReplyDelete
  6. You really can't go wrong with either Ryback or Punk winning this so good booking overall. The only way to really screw this up is if Punk gets his ass handed to him by Ryback, then they blow a Brock appearance by having him take out Ryback from behind to give Punk the victory and Ryback gets a title shot on Raw and wins it there anyway.

So that's probably exactly what they'll do. The scenario that makes everyone involved look stupid.

    ReplyDelete
  7. This is a parody, right?

    ReplyDelete
  8. Wait: Sheamus/Show is NOT a HitC match??

    ReplyDelete
  9. Ryback really needs to make Punk his bitch.

    ReplyDelete
  10. What a test this will be for Ryback. We'll probably actually see him SELL during the match! It may sound like I'm joking but I'm not as it's pretty important for his push.

I know it's nice to see a new guy in the main event mix but even so...I wish there was more of a character build-up for Ryback. Even Goldberg had the mystique of his streak leading to his US title win and then he faced Hogan.

    ReplyDelete
  11. I want Ryback to win if only so we don't have ANOTHER Cena/Punk PPV build. Cena wants the belt, so he has to go after Ryback. Punk, screwed over by AJ again, has to win a contender match at the next PPV. Punk wins. Ryback wins. Punk beats Ryback at the subsequent PPV and carries the belt until Rock's challenge at Royal Rumble.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Exactly what I was thinking. Ryback will bludgeon Punk for a while, then Lesnar runs in to preserve the title for Heyman/Punk. Then either do Brock/Punk vs. Cena/Ryback, or turn it into an 8-on-8 Survivor match, perhaps with Cena petitioning Rock to return for the match.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Do you think they are finally accepting the fact that it's time to move Cena out of the #1 guy spot? The fact that just as many people voted for Ryback as Cena to be in the main event is telling, especially when you consider 90% of the voters are kids and Tout-sending marks.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Sheamus/Show is also going to be a HIAC match.

    ReplyDelete
  15. I actually think Ryback's been protected enough that he could get screwed over by Punk/Heyman and survive just fine. Provided he goes back to winning Raw matches immediately afterwards it'll be regarded as an aberration.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Paul Heyman can get a big pair of bolt cutters, open the door, Punk leaves, the end.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Um, no, Sheamus/Show IS a HitC match, Keith has his head up his ass.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Guys, c'mon, Lesnar is ripping thru the door Kane style

    ReplyDelete
  19. Yeah, I agree. I don't get the notion that a loss automatically buries him. There's absolutely a way to do it that could get Ryback more over in the process.

It's a delicate situation, and like Scott said it makes this pretty interesting.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Or Mark Henry style.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Bingo.

Lesnar plows through the cage door just like Kane, wallops Ryback to allow Punk the cheapo win; you shunt Ryback over to build cred off beating Lesnar (wow, they're really pissing away all the Lesnar heat they had, but I digress) and finish Punk against Cena. Then you can flip opponents and give Ryback a legit title push vs. Punk, have Lesnar beat the shit out of Cena (again) and move The Rock into a motivational "Apollo Creed" to Cena's "Rocky Balboa" in Rocky III storyline, thus setting up the mano-a-mano rematch between Cena and The Rock for Mania.

    ReplyDelete
  22. What, exactly, are they pissing away? He's working the number of dates he was expected to, and he's jacked up the buyrate of both PPVs he's been on easily by enough to justify his contract.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Rofflez. Let's put the belt on a guy that has a contract for three more matches! Brilliant!

    ReplyDelete
  24. Because he's already gone from being an EVENT to being another guy. I think his return and booking has been mishandled; Brock was going to jump the buyrates of the PPVs he's already been on from a pure novelty/notoriety perspective regardless, but his booking has all but guaranteed diminishing returns as they continue to fulfill his contract.

    ReplyDelete
  25. This is also a parody, right?

It's not a burial to have the belt for a fucking year, get pushed back to the tippy top after turning heel ( which he obviously prefers to be) and go back to having matches with the top stars in the company (Cena, Rock).

If he takes a step back after that, so what? It'll be after a nearly two-year run of being at/near the very top. Not only would that not be a burial, that's how it should be: you have your run at the top, and get out of that spot before we're all fed up with you.

Personally, and I've said this before, I think Punk takes a bit of a break after WM if there aren't plans for him to stay at the top. And it'd be a smart move. The only real break he's had in his six years in WWE was when he was briefly doing commentary and that only lasted, what, a few weeks?

    ReplyDelete
  26. His nickname now is "The Big Hungry"? Someone thought that would be a good idea?

    ReplyDelete
  27. It'll be interesting to see what Ryback has. Goldberg did the 2 minute squashes but he at least started to go a little longer against mid-carders and winning the US Title from Raven. A pay per view main event might be a little above Ryback's head. But surely there are numerous clothesline variations he can use to fill out the match.

As for the match, couldn't they just gimmick the Cell so Ryback could do one of his power moves (he's very muscular and strong) through it? Like when they have the ring collapse - non-finish, but holy shit moment. Makes Ryback look really strong (strong creates cash), Punk runs away, no decisive finish. It might kill the point of the Cell match though - has there ever been a no-contest HITC?

    ReplyDelete
  28. I fully expect it to be Hell, but it'll also be in a Cell?

    ReplyDelete
  29. Both of his PPVS matches have been treated as "EVENTS" and the buyrates corresponded. Even if you have a guy who's buyrate gold you still have to not fuck it up. There isn't any evidence yet of diminishing returns because they're getting exactly what they intended to out of him.

How, specifically, should they have handled his return differently, given the limited dates we knew he'd be working? Considering, of course, how silly trying to do any sort of extended narrative would be for a guy that's gone for weeks/months at a time.

    ReplyDelete
  30. I think Ryback's a guy they'd consider it for - strong, muscular, complete Vince creation -but it's not happening yet. Cena has to face Rock for the second time/only time at Wrestlemania.

    ReplyDelete
  31. The Big Hungry vs The Great White. We've come a long way from the Texas Rattlesnake and The Brahma Bull.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Um, he lift two guys on his back at once, what else do you need?

    ReplyDelete
  33. But it will be Hell?

    ReplyDelete
  34. I'm not sure there's a way to accurately judge this until his current run is completed, but I'll concur that booking him over an extended period is difficult given his limited dates (though it's been done, and successfully, before: see WCW/Sting, WWE/Jericho).

Putting Cena over him immediately was a mistake; using him next in feud with HHH was likewise silly.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Ballshots. Lots of them.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Meh. When it's THREE guys, I'd be more excited, brother.

    ReplyDelete
  37. If it's never been done, it won't kill it; it'll make it an exception to the rule that creates the "holy shit" moment you were talking about.

Doing it repeatedly would kill it.

    ReplyDelete
  38. I really hope they do the "Lesnar bursts through the cage and costs Ryback the match" option. Keeps the title on Punk, keeps Ryback looking like a beast, and as mentioned it sets up the possibility of an interesting tag team (or elimination or WAR GAMES) main event at Survivor Series.

Also, I think the best way to cement Ryback as the future is to have him go over Lesnar at Mania. Ryback winning the WWE title now would be a fun hotshot, but if they're not gonna give him a long reign (and with Rock at the Rumble, they won't) then I think a short transitional reign would hurt his aura more than a loss now. But back to Lesnar: I've said it in other threads, but Lesnar's Mania loss can NOT come at the hands of HHH or Taker. That'd be a giant waste. He needs to job to either Sheamus, Bryan, or Ryback— and based on Ryback's current storyline with Punk/Heyman, he seems to have the most obvious path to that match. So yeah, that's where I'd go with him.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Not trying to be combative when I ask this, but: what is the evidence for Ryback being a botch-machine who hurts people, or a completely awful wrestler? That seems to be the opinion here, but I personally don't see it. Wasn't the Swagger spot also on Swagger for not finishing the back flip?

His matches so far seem to be perfectly acceptable squashes— he moves fast for a big guy, his power moves seem crisp, some of the transitions and variations in the jobber squashes were pretty original. If Ultimate Warrior was able to be carried to great matches by the right opponents, I don't see why Ryback (who seems to have his head screwed on straighter than Warrior) can't have a fun match with Punk. Especially if they just straight up rip-off the Undertaker-HBK Cell match formula: Ryback destroys Punk in a bunch of crowd-pleasing cage spots, Punk gets a few hope spots, and in the end Lesnar pulls a Kane. Could be really good.

    ReplyDelete
  40. I'd avoid having him pinned if they don't have to do it. He hasn't been pinned yet so there's that mystique that nothing can put him down. Even if it takes Punk and Brock to do it, having him pinned shows that he does have limits, he can be beat, even if it's unfairly. And that has to happen eventually I just don't think it's necessary right now when they can just do some sort of screw job non finish. Even have Brock show up and Ryback turn his attention to him while Punk runs away. Brock/Ryback do a pull-apart brawl or something. I don't think a pin fall will kill him but at the same time if it doesn't have to happen why do it?

    ReplyDelete
  41. Yeh, I don't know where this nonsense comes from.

I used to wrestle for years and in my opinion (and it's only that), Swagger didn't hit the turnbuckles correctly and his exit out of them looked mistimed and awkward, hence not getting enough rotation on his flip on the back body drop.

I havn't seen any other evidence of Ryback supposedly being a 'botch machine' and 'unsafe'. If anything, the guy's been impressive considering the amount of power moves/innovative moves he uses.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Its significantly better. Live threads are actually enjoyable with this Disqus.

    ReplyDelete
  43. No way in hell do they end the show with their biggest future prospect being destroyed by a part timer.

    ReplyDelete
  44. I hope someone backstage is pushing for Ryback Vs. 4 dwarfs.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Michael Cole would refer to this as "creating separation."

    ReplyDelete
  46. Yeah if they have him lose unfairly then they can move away from the undefeated thing without the pressure to find "the right guy" to end it after its gone on for too long. They did it with Brock too - His first pinfall loss being to Big Show because Heyman turned on him.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Yes, let's put Brock against two of the biggest stars. In the first match let's have him be cocky and overzealous with his destruction of Cena so he costs himself the match. In the second match let's have him learn from his mistakes and put out one of the biggest stars of the past generations. Yeah, just awful choices here.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Why would they show Lesnar unadvertised and end the show with their biggest prospect floored by a guy with 20 dates a year?

    ReplyDelete
  49. because that's the kind of thing that happens in pro-wrestling all the time

    ReplyDelete
  50. Anaconda Vice/pass-out finish, after lots of interference?

    ReplyDelete
  51. When? When was the last time the closing image of a show was a monster character completely bested by another wrestler? The only people I could think of that happening to are Kane and Big Show and they have to turn on a bi-weekly basis to keep their heat now.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Ryback has been wrestling since 2004, he started out on Tough Enough 4. He should know how to work better than Goldberg did.

    ReplyDelete
  53. So the world title would be in the hands of a man who seems like he might just walk away from the WWE with it, whose contract is expiring?

Yeah, that's a terrible idea, and they'd never do that ever, and definitely not in a situation involving Cena and Punk.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Specifically this scenario? I don't know...

But big stars debuting or returning unadvertised on a ppv is nothing new. Brock costing Ryback the match wouldn't kill Ryback's heat, and would set up a match with Lesnar (actually using his star power to get someone else over). Suprise run-ins happen all the time, in fact earlier this year Big Johnny "fired" The Big Show, just for him to make a "surprise" return at whatever ppv it was to cost Cena a match.

And they've ended ppv's with big prospects left laid out. Summer Slam 2009, CM Punk beats Jeff Hardy in a TLC match to win the World Title, then lights go out, GONG, Undertaker magically appears to chokeslam the new champ. When Shemus was on his way up the ladder as heel champ he ran from Nexus like a coward. Heck, Cena beat Lesnar clean as a sheet in the middle of the ring THIS YEAR.

It's how they do things. It's just a way of getting from A to B.

    ReplyDelete
  55. I was actually referring to the fact that it makes no sense for the champ to be a guy that doesn't appear on any of your shows. Try and keep up.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Big Show returning wouldn't pop a rating. Lesnar returning would.

Punk getting taken out is completely different to a bad ass unstoppable face getting taken out. Also, you'd be hard pressed to find anyone who thought Cena beating Lesnar was a good idea. Lesnar had to retire a legend to get his heat back. Even then, the show didn't end with Cena standing dominant over Lesnar. He walked alone to the back, refusing medical attention.

When you have a monster character, you have to rarely, if ever, make him look weak. Their character is built on strength and invulnerability.

    ReplyDelete
  57. The old... "Who'd he ever beat?" comes into play here.

He has to actually beat... someone. You know? He beat Miz... and I guess Otunga. But that's it as far as names.

    ReplyDelete
  58. ...trying to come up with an Empty Arena match joke...

    ReplyDelete
  59. When I think of the name Ryback, for some reason, I think of rye bread.

And then I start craving a sandwich.

    ReplyDelete
  60. But where does he go from here? Also, FWIW: whatever they do with Ryback, PLEASE don't show a closeup of the dude's teeth again. There's something VERY wrong going on there.

    ReplyDelete
  61. He no sold the pedigree.

That's far from being "just another guy".

    ReplyDelete
  62. Hmmm, I seem to remember Hulk Hogan doing that. Repeatedly.

    ReplyDelete
  63. They've done it before. Repeatedly.

    ReplyDelete
  64. I really think you're over-thinking this. If you're looking for nuance in how WWE portrays their characters I don't know what you've been watching, because it doesn't happen.

there are 2 options at HITC; they put the strap on Ryback, or Punk goes over--and if Punk's going over it's gonna be screwy and Lesnar is only one degree of separation away from CM Punk. Punk will most likely go over b/c they've kinda been building to a match against The Rock; meanwhile Ryback can have fun beating the piss out of Lesnar.

    ReplyDelete
  65. I'm not overthinking it at all. As soon as you stop a beast from looking like a beast, he stops being a beast. If Brock is to screw him over, it has to involve weapons and/or a 2 on 1 beatdown in order to keep Ryback strong and not just have Brock F5 him multiple times or whatever others have suggested.

    ReplyDelete
  66. This guy gets it.

    ReplyDelete
  67. he no sold the pedigree and disappeared from tv for months.

its been forgotten about. just like hhh's broken arm and the beating he gave cena. that was eons ago.

    ReplyDelete
  68. You're looking at it wrong... like a lot of things.

Lesnar destroys Cena... Full time face of the company, puts him on the shelf. No Cena = constant reminder of Lesnars power/destruction.

Lesnar beats HHH... part timer who works 2 dates a year. Still The GAME and that damn good, but come on... booking was lousy.

If they paid him x amount of dollars to be a job guy, by all mean pin him, pay him... but dont be counter-productive.

    and yet they have.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Feed you More?

    ReplyDelete
  70. I'd go with "Hollywood" Fuj. Drop the "the", flows better. :-)

    ReplyDelete
  71. Done and Done.

    ReplyDelete
  72. That would help no one. Punk has held the belt for almost a year, trading it around now is just...stupid.

    ReplyDelete
  73. Or Brock carries Punk away.

    ReplyDelete
  74. Someone needs to pay off Kane in this angle.

    ReplyDelete
  75. I guess the question at this point is: why not? They've tried the experiment with guys like Swagger, Lesnar, Angle, Miz, etc. So there is a precedent for sure. Ratings are lowering, the product is in a holding pattern. The titles are thoroughly devalued, so its not hurting the cred of the belts. They can always do rematches if it doesn't pan out. Taking a shot with a new commodity is well worth it at this point. If it doesn't move the meter, the other guys are still around. If it does, you can audible Wrestlemania around Ryback. Title vs Streak with Undertaker. Ryback vs Cena or Rock or HHH or Lesnar. It at least has some fresh intrigue.

    ReplyDelete
  76. Remember when HIAC matches were special? They were something to look forward to to end a great long feud, or at least one match a year to build to. Created an epic DVD set of matches.

Now we get 13 of them a year, and one with a green-as-grass rookie against the world champ in it. Awesome, guys, just awesome.

    ReplyDelete
  77. #1, because if they did it, they would use this unadvertised appearance as a big surprise to build to a Survivor Series match and draw a better rating for Raw the next night, and #2, because this would presumably be after said top prospect was about to destroy the WWE champion, and would lead to either a one on one match with Lesnar or a tag match where Ryback would likely win.

    ReplyDelete
  78. They'll screw this up in the most uninteresting way: Special guest ring enforcer John Cena

    ReplyDelete
  79. I was thinking that too, but even WWE wouldn't be stupid enough to pull that on a PPV. Right?

    ReplyDelete
  80. Ok. Montereal screw job. Vince screws ryback over, makes Paul hayman gm.

S.series, rock, cena, ryback, Bryan and Kane vs lesnar, cm punk, big show and Rhodes scholars. Tag teams go first. Then ryback eliminates show, who chokeslams ryback through a table at ringside in retaliation to count him out.

Cm punk cheats to pin rock, cena pins punk, lesnar pins cena to survive. If rock can't do it, replace with sheamus.

You can then feud show ad ryback and

    ReplyDelete
  81. I don't think I am. Lesnar is still a destructive force. He has never looked bad unless it was his own fault (SSP).

    ReplyDelete
  82. Yet Kane hugging people may have made him infinitely more awesome than he was when superhumanly strong and invulnerable.

    ReplyDelete
  83. Ultimately, if done right Lesnar/Ryback showdown in the Royal Rumble would be a huge moment. But you got Survivor Series coming up, easily have a Punk and Lesnar form a team with Cena and Ryback on the other as the main event.

    ReplyDelete
  84. Ratings were back down this week. Time for another shake-up.

    ReplyDelete
  85. Yep. And I won't be surprised when this dude fucks up in HIAC and puts Punk out of commission for a few months.

    ReplyDelete
  86. How about this: Ryback gets assaulted BEFORE the match, someone (most likely Cena) takes his place.

Ryback and his win streak are protected.

    ReplyDelete
  87. It was pretty much the same as last week. How's that down?

    ReplyDelete
  88. Team Hollywood Fuj flows even better.

    ReplyDelete
  89. Might be doable if they hadn't done that exact same thing with Kaitlyn on the last PPV.

    ReplyDelete
  90. Who says it's unadvertised? Maybe next week Heyman says he's gotten Brock front row seats for the show.

    ReplyDelete
  91. No time for that, PPVs are broadcast live.

    ReplyDelete
  92. They had fewer viewers in every hour from last week. Guess you have to stop watching.

    ReplyDelete
  93. No, I think Cena's hurt worse than they let on and/or realized and won't be ready in two weeks.

    ReplyDelete
  94. They have yet to actually mention it's in the Cell.

    ReplyDelete
  95. This is kind of a hilarious situation they've put themselves in.

I mean, of all the guys on the roster, you put your champion in the ring with the guy that supposedly none of the top workers wanted to work with because he was unsafe, then were proven right when he almost drops Swagger on his head.

CM Punk really IS the new Bret Hart.

    ReplyDelete
  96. Since when? They didn't mention it on Raw..

    ReplyDelete
  97. That's viewers, not ratings. Get your facts straight!

    ReplyDelete
  98. THREADJ~...whoops, this is actually semi on-topic.

    http://pwtorch.com/artman2/publish/WWE_News_3/article_65998.shtml

Miz should start using a headbutt as his finisher, because he must have a titanium skull.

    ReplyDelete
  99. The way they've booked him makes him as far as possible from being "just another guy." How diminishing returns have been guaranteed are fucking beyond me. They've treated both of his matches like big events, and the buyrates corresponded.

On a sidenote, it still cracks me up how many people still think Cena going over Brock was the wrong finish, but I'm done with that argument.

    ReplyDelete
  100. The tensai match on raw is another example of a ryback botch but I don't see where he's been unsafe. Vkm might love big lugs but he will bury someone if they can't work safe.

    ReplyDelete
  101. I'm enjoying hollywood fuj

    ReplyDelete
  102. By .01 points. Hardly a cause for celebration considering they spent the entire night hyping up CM Punk's challenger either being Goldberg or John Cena.

    ReplyDelete
  103. He hired the Great Khali. Remember when he actually KILLED a guy in the ring?

    ReplyDelete
  104. Ratings went up despite competing against an NLCS game and Peyton Manning's unreal comeback on MNF. That's certainly not reason for despair.

    ReplyDelete
  105. At the time I was pissed, but in hindsight, it fit the overall story of Johnny Ace being a complete moron for letting Brock manhandle him into giving him an even BETTER deal, only for Brock to lose the match due to his cockiness.

The problem I had with the Cena/Brock match was Cena basically cutting a promo right after the match as Brock crawls away and talking about how he's going away for a while, then coming back immediately to bore us with such main event caliber matches against Johnny Ace and Big Show.

    ReplyDelete
  106. The Tensai botch was absolutely Tensai's fault. He completely sandbagged Ryback.

    ReplyDelete
  107. That's completely unfair. Ong was told to continue training after a serious concussion and then died from a second one. It could have been anyone against him. All it takes is one bad bump or stiff shot and you're concussed.

    ReplyDelete
  108. Next week, Ryback gets a chance to work Main Event Style.

Let's see what Dolph Ziggler and Ryback can do in 20 minutes!

    ReplyDelete
  109. Ahmed Johnson?

    ReplyDelete
  110. terrible.

    On so many levels.

    ReplyDelete
  111. Oh, OK. To be fair, an incremental portion of the TV viewing audience on Monday tuned in to watch Raw compared to last week, but fewer viewers overall watched.

    ReplyDelete
  112. Former World Champion Jack Swagger.

    ReplyDelete
  113. I only care about ratings. Not viewers.

    ReplyDelete
  114. You should care about neither, but I highly urge you to stop watching Raw because not many people are tuning in.

    ReplyDelete
  115. Once again, I don't care about how many people are tuning in! I care about the ratings, and RAW's ratings are far better than anything TNA is putting out.

    ReplyDelete
  116. I'm just saying, fewer people are watching. It's unacceptable to support a lowly-rated program.

    ReplyDelete
  117. It's the highest rated television broadcast in all of sports entertainment!

I'm sick of entertaining your bald-faced lies. Good day, sir.

    ReplyDelete
  118. Oh, totally agree. I wouldn't have Ryback pinned either. My point was just that they haven't really played up the undefeated angle specifically, so a loss in which he gets totally screwed wouldn't kill him dead.

    ReplyDelete
  119. Shouldn't "Hollywood Fuj" have a really long, drawn-out intro to all of his posts? Like helicopters over L.A. and shit like that, then really, really slow "posting music"?

    ReplyDelete
  120. They're just telling stories about "creating separation," you know.

    ReplyDelete
  121. Who says Brock has to go after Ryback? Brock going after Punk works just fine.

It's not like Paul Heyman is to be trusted, you know.

It's as simple as Punk trying to run away and Brock appearing to "run interference" only to turn on Punk and destroy him completely, before an enraged Ryback brawls Lesnar out of the building.

And then there's a No Contest, not because Punk's a coward or because Ryback got screwed, but because Lesnar's a bad ass and Ryback is too but believes in playing "fair".

  123. I like that. Won't happen, but it's neat. It makes Punk & Ryback look good and neither jobs, while making Lesnar the biggest piece of shit in the company.

  124. That's exactly what Lesnar should be, a rampaging piece of shit bully. I won't say that Ryback would be the right choice to "shut him up", but I'm sure there's someone in developmental who could.
