Seeing how they handle Aces n Eights having "access" and what that actually means will probably go a long way in whether or not I'll still check out Impact.
I wish it would make storyline sense for Bobby Roode to be the leader. As long as A&8 go away soon, I'm fine with the whole angle. I like how the TNA guys are smarter than WCW's crew.
I always liked Devon on the mic, for some reason. At least he comes across as if he has passion for what he's saying. Though I also realize I'm in the minority on that.
Not a good show. They really should have had a major Aces reveal to make me care about the angle again. Now they are just milking it. The thing about the NWO was that there was something happening each week, a new member or something. Aces has had ONE reveal since the angle started and that was Devon.
Sting Vs Devon, a main event nowhere in the country.
Raw after wrestlemania is always a huge show. This was weaker than the show before BFG.
I'm thinking bored, nothing was offensive (except for Hogan saying the words "creative meetings" to Matt Morgan, Holy FUCK did that piss me off) It was just kind of there

ReplyDeleteAces n Eights instantly have a top 5 theme song.
ReplyDeleteI wanted to see them drink with the masks on.
ReplyDeleteSome black guys can pull of the biker look. Devon is not one of them.
ReplyDeleteIt's only Devon, Tenay and Taz. Let's not get too carried away here.
ReplyDeleteDidn't take long for Devon to revert to 1999 ECW D-Von.
ReplyDelete...wow. Devon channeled Vince McMahon on that.
ReplyDeleteDevon is not the greatest on the mic.
ReplyDeleteAt least he's making the attempt to explain why he did what he did.
ReplyDeleteThis everyone quakes with fear when Hogan arrives bullshit is getting old fast.

ReplyDeleteDevon-Bully PPV build here.
ReplyDeleteI always liked Devon on the mic, for some reason. At least he comes across as if he has passion for what he's saying. Though I also realize I'm in the minority on that.
ReplyDeleteAries is so much better as a heel.
ReplyDeleteAt least he came with a bat this time and he didn't do his Bruce Lee routine.
ReplyDeleteSolid start!
ReplyDeleteThe 'Bully' chants sounds like 'Ole'. Hopefully Bully brings back the 'friendly mutton chops' and the diving knee off the top.
ReplyDeleteEven if Hogan wanted to sell for these guys, he can't. Dude can't take a bump so when gets involved, it makes everyone look stupid.
ReplyDeleteRobbie E - Joe next. TV belts are made for gimmicky guys like Robbie.
ReplyDelete...BROTHER!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat's with Hogan and pluralizing names?
ReplyDeleteThis is going to be a shit-kicking
ReplyDeleteAs well it should be.
ReplyDeleteI loves me some Samoa Joe squash matches.
ReplyDeleteAnd THAT'S the way Joe should be booked. Now get him a new belt.
ReplyDeleteHonestly, I don't mind TNA using him to build up the TV Title.
ReplyDeleteThat asswhoopin' was made for Robbie as well.
ReplyDeleteI just want them to give him a long reign to rebuild his image and the image of the TV title.
ReplyDeleteChavo mentioning Eddie for cheap heat is one thing but dressing up as him for a TNA commercial is way over the line.
ReplyDeleteYeah, beat me up Tara!
ReplyDeleteUh, her, I mean. Beat her up...
Trying to think of better jobs than having to make out with Tara. Failing.
ReplyDeleteSo they clarified that Devon is not the leader, but "Sergeant at Arms"
ReplyDeleteThat was a waste of time
ReplyDeleteInk Inc v2.0?
ReplyDeleteIs this new theme music for Jeff?
ReplyDeleteNice to see Jeff Hardy class it up for the celebration.
ReplyDeleteHardy's belt looks like that flying facemask thing from Mario Bros. 2.
ReplyDeleteTie and jeans? Nice one, Avril.
ReplyDeleteRed, white, and green confetti. COULD THIS MEAN A SECRET ALLIANCE WITH THE LWO??? TUNE INTO NITRO TO FIND OUT!!!
ReplyDeleteWait, so the match at BFG was for the Divas title? Am confused.
ReplyDeleteHeel Aries + Cookies = Big Win
ReplyDelete"Where were you in Phoenix?"
ReplyDeleteAries spitting on the belt reminded me of that scene in Due Date. "I...NEVER!"
ReplyDelete... "in my 23 years!"
ReplyDeleteUgh. Can't believe only one hour of this show has gone by. Really, really dragging ass tonight..not a good show.
ReplyDeleteAgree. This is the dullest Impact in quite some time
ReplyDeleteI really wish Cena would modify his AA and add a neckbreaker at the end like AJ did. At least it will look better.
ReplyDeleteI'm so confused on this number one contender thing. So the winner here is number one contender, but so is Storm and Anderson?
ReplyDeleteNew disqus sucks dick for coke
ReplyDeleteIt sure does
ReplyDeleteOf course you bleed blood, Cowboy. What the hell else would you bleed?
ReplyDeleteCant these two just move on to other feuds?
ReplyDeleteZzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
ReplyDeleteTonight is very....meh. Even the Impact Zone fans are out of it.
ReplyDeleteI like that new comments pop up at random points in the middle. It's like Where's Waldo.
ReplyDeleteThere was nothing worth seeing here tonight. Everything was dull and forgettable
ReplyDeleteAssuming you mean Storm and Roode, I think they are, that was just a way to get Storm on TV
ReplyDeleteWhat a dull show...I'd never go from liking to trashing a company over one night but yesh that was NOT a good way to start the post BFG season
ReplyDeleteTo be fair, it could've been booze.
ReplyDeleteNot a good show. They really should have had a major Aces reveal to make me care about the angle again. Now they are just milking it. The thing about the NWO was that there was something happening each week, a new member or something. Aces has had ONE reveal since the angle started and that was Devon.
ReplyDeleteSting Vs Devon, a main event nowhere in the country.
Raw after wrestlemania is always a huge show. This was weaker than the show before BFG.
Once again, the X Division Champ is not on the show.
ReplyDeleteThe highlight to me was Joe murdering someone.
ReplyDeleteEh. Nothing offensive.
ReplyDeleteI actually liked the show before BFG...
ReplyDeleteYou can change that to Newest or Oldest
ReplyDeleteI think it's a 4-way next week
ReplyDeleteYou mean they weren't chanting for El Generico?
ReplyDeleteOh I did too, I just meant that the show before a PPV is typical a placeholder
ReplyDeleteWill this show be reviewed by Bored Scott or Angry Scott?
ReplyDeleteNo kidding. I kept thinking "They are gonna be banging for reals before this is over"
ReplyDeleteNow THAT at least was fun
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking bored, nothing was offensive (except for Hogan saying the words "creative meetings" to Matt Morgan, Holy FUCK did that piss me off) It was just kind of there
ReplyDeleteAngry Scott, because TNA was showing signs of getting their shit together and here they are about to circle the drain again.
ReplyDeleteThen why did Devon yell out at the PPV "It was me the whole time"? Or are we supposed to forget that happened?
ReplyDeleteThey're booking this thing on a napkin, aren't they?
Joe laughing off Robbie E's offense was damn funny.
ReplyDeleteHe was saying he was the snitch and the one that was letting Aces and Eights in the Impact Zone.
ReplyDeleteNow they they are here...can we find out WHY?!?!
You may need therapy.
