For those not offended by head and neck trauma, Masato Tanaka defending the Openweight Championship against Tomohiro Ishii from New Japan, 2/3/13.
Masato Tanaka (c) vs. Tomohiro Ishii (NJPW) by Jahmale_Hepburn
How Tanaka is still going like this after 15+ years is a total mystery to me.
Head and neck trauma? WON'T SOMEBODY PLEASE THINK OF THE CHILDREN?
ReplyDeleteTanaka isn't human.
ReplyDeleteI saw that match a few weeks ago. Great match. It is for the NEVER Title, which is the 3rd most important single title in NJPW. Tanaka also got a chance to main event a NJPW show when he was the IC Champion around a year ago (I think it was sometime in December 2011) against Honma and that was also a great match. I don't think Tanaka works a full-time schedule and most of the time he doesn't go at anywhere near this level in the ring, so that's probably how he keeps going.
ReplyDeleteApril 7th is gonna be a busy day. New Japan has an iPPV, and there's this little event called WrestleMania. Is it sad that I'm more excited to watch the New Japan iPPV?
ReplyDeleteI don't even like Japanese wrestling and I'm more interested in the NJPW show than I am WrestleMania.
ReplyDeleteFuck the children. They cheer for John Cena.
ReplyDeleteOh shit, that's when they're doing the anniversary show?
ReplyDeleteNo the anniversary show is in March. They are doing some sort of "invasion" iPPV the day of WrestleMania.
ReplyDeleteI've always been a WWE guy and I'm not even excited for WrestleMania.
