Don't know if this made the blog or not, but a petition is on WhiteHouse.gov to make May 20th National Macho Man Randy Savage Day! Share a link for anyone on the blog (who's a US citizen) to sign if they so desire?

Finally, a cause for the fatcats in Washington to get behind and feel good about!
I'll be satisfied with a mere Hall of Fame induction and a Bonesaw action figure.
ReplyDeleteI'm actually disappointed that when he died they didn't do a Macho tribute packaging of Slim Jims.
ReplyDeleteRough stuff. Just as it seems pro wrestling is turning a corner...WHAM. You get hit by Reid Flair. People need to realize, though, this stuff is not limited to the pro wrestling arena. It occurs in all walks of life. I have seen people shot, stabbed, choked, every sort of human indignity. Shit happens. But I take a morbid view with wrestling. I remember young Reid double legging Eric Bischoff. Wrestling is a release for most of us. Especially hormonally challenged ones. Straight and truthful. Losing Reid is equivalent to losing Christopher Moltiscanti. Painful. Just God awful. Except many of us rasslin fans were expecting it.
ReplyDeleteEven if it was drug related, it doesnt mean the kid should be dead.
ReplyDeleteNobody knows what is going through an individual's mind when they get into this shit.
Some use it for an escape, some use it for fun, some just use it to run away from things.
"Losing Reid is equivalent to losing Christopher Moltiscanti"
ReplyDeleteExcept for the fact that one is a television character and the other is a real person....
