ReplyDeleteI know you only briefly mentioned it, but I agree that part about never expecting them to blow off the Austin/Vince match on this PPV. I even skipped this PPV when it originally aired thinking they were gonna bait and switch us on the match. I always expected Austin-Vince to be blown off at WM.
ReplyDeleteYeah, it seemed like such a Mania main event...and the way they were building the Rock/Mankind story, it was believable that Mania would be their final showdown.
ReplyDeleteThank you sir!
ReplyDeleteibid.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure if this is JR or Scott but I too love listening to your vault shows. I'm around your age, from NY, and also have the idiot savant memory of wrestling in the late 80s through 2005-thanks to thousands of VHS tapes. Great to know there are others lol.
ReplyDeleteThis JR...and that you very much! Glad you enjoy the show. VHS Brotherhood is where it's at, my man!
