You just know that somewhere down the line one of the major news shows will do a feature DDP's work with Scott Hall and Jake Roberts.
IMO, the WWE will never get behind this because: a. it wasn't their idea, and b. it begs the question of why Jake and Scott were so badly off to begin with.
Totally unrelatedly, I've just seen the Nikita Koloff face turn for the first time. If you can take insanely loud heat, worth seeing: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3hg-2jtpXHs
I just hope no one blames Page when/if Hall and Roberts fall off the wagon. Unfortunately that's often how it goes when an addict is in recovery and I hope people don't get too disappointed if this doesn't stick.
It's a shame that WWE doesn't promote the Hell out of this over Komen or Be a Star or any other dumb venture they've undertook. Wrestling fans would really give a shit and feel invested and it still would give WWE positive press.
I've been following DDP on his YouTube channel and have become a ridiculous fan of what he's doing. He's been helping Jake Roberts, who looks tremendous now, and the two of them reached out to Scott Hall and took him in as well. I'm still following that story, but I'm really hopeful for him, too.

Jake Roberts showed up at a Dodger game a couple of weeks ago and he looked great! DDP's a miracle-worker.
ReplyDeleteSolid anchor fail in the intro... D-T-P Yoga. I gotta try this

ReplyDeleteThe voice of experience are you?
ReplyDeleteyoga is the popular trend in the world recently. it is very good for our health espcially the obeisity, it helps keep the cholescherol in safe level
ReplyDeleteWWE should put some money & marketing behind this. The whole "wrestlers helping wrestlers" couldn't hurt with the stigmas attached to the business.
ReplyDeleteI was a huge DDP guy in early 98, but by the time they gave him the main event/title run (99), it was over. I love what he's doing now though.

ReplyDeleteGod bless DDP.
