Fan Attempts to Attack TNA Star at a House Show
At a house show in Tucson this past weekend, a fan threw a beer at Kazarian and attempted to attack him but was stopped by security. As the incident was going on, James Storm attempted to divert attention by cutting a promo on the crowd.

RAW: SPOILER ALERT: Commercials may get more time than in-ring action. Depends on how Bryan's feeling.
ReplyDelete"It's Still Real To Me": Kaz is doing his job, folks. Hey WWE, if you ever get serious about a tag division again, there are two guys who could get over pretty easily, even in your promo-heavy world.
Rey: What he didn't say: "I'll be returning to the bench as soon as we finish that tour."

Wow that is pretty shocking... TNA has a fan!?!?!?!? TNA has a star?!?!?!?
Trying too hard.
ReplyDeleteYou're mean!
ReplyDeleteShould Rey even be anywhere near a ring if he still needs a crutch? Should he even be near a ring at all these days?
ReplyDeleteRey needs to retire. It feels like him and Sin Cara are competing for the Nash "how long does it take me to get injured again" award.
ReplyDeleteIs the funny part coming up soon?
ReplyDeleteI'm excited for reys comeback. One of my top 5 favorite guys ever
ReplyDeleteRey then announced that he will be taking time off starting October 17th when he injured again.
ReplyDeleteIts funny how despised rey is by the iwc despite being one of the all time greatest workers ever and having had a wide variety of five Star matches. I've discussed this on here before and the consensus was his gimmick is too "kiddy" for the iwc. That seems like a stupid line to draw when you're watching wrestling imo (since its basically all kids stuff).
ReplyDeleteIf the wwe books rey vs adr, and gives them plenty of time to build and a couple 20 minute matches I'll be a happy camper.
I thought Rey was coming back weeks ago. When Alberto Del Rio got in the ring and proclaimed himself some sort of Latin hero, then Ricardo comes out to introduce someone, I would have bet money on that being Rey Mysterio.
ReplyDeleteInstead we get force fed this RVD stuff. And while I love RVD and think he should be the World Champion, the pairing with Ricardo is just weird.
Same. Both Mrs. Parallax1978 and I were 100% sure it was Mysterio... which would have been a logical pairing for Ricardo... though if I never see Rey Mysterio again it will be to soon.
ReplyDeleteFor me I dislike his character for how stupid a lot of his moveset is, particularly the 619... and I really dislike him personally for being a short guy with a lot of talent who felt like he had to bulk up and be something he isn't... and because he watched 2 of his good friends die terrible, drug related deaths but still wouldn't quit using, I used to be a fan... but how I would rather have Heidenreich on my TV more than him.
ReplyDeleteTrying too hard
ReplyDeleteReports are the fan who attacked Kazarian was hired by Dixie Carter as a way to injure the wrestler, subsequently negating his contract, and skirt medical coverage bills. When asked what Dixie offered him, the fan replied: coupons to Hulk Hogans new Clearwater restaurant, a nosebleed impact zone seat, $9.74 in cash, and a hug from TNA.
ReplyDeleteTHREADJACKED!
ReplyDeleteThis is Joe Koff talking about his deal with GFL and why he put their PPV there.
"The Internet Pay Per Views have very much been a part of presenting our product to a wider audience. We began our relationship with Go Fight Live…they're a tremendous vendor and I'm not even sure that it's entirely then or us. You're dealing with a technology that's very difficult…it's an inexact science. ... it's an expectation of the fans that they get a complete program without incident. ... It became a situation where I decided that I'd rather present a clean program even if it was a little delayed or on demand, then go through this where the fan is not enjoying the experience with Ring of Honor."
Did this guy not notice that NO ONE was able to watch the PPV without the stream breaking out literally every 3 seconds? Reading that really makes me want to never invest in their product. If you're going to be in denial about something then fuck yourself. >=(
Maybe I am...
ReplyDeleteJuly 4 at the earliest.
ReplyDeleteRey WAS a great wrestler... now he's a kiddie gimmick with all the contrivances involved. (619 anyone?)
ReplyDeleteCan he still bring it? Maybe, but I'm not optimistic.
I dont judge people on their personal shit, but I agree on his moveset. It reminds me of RVDs, just over the top spot spot spot. It just looks to fake for my liking.
ReplyDeleteDid they throw the fan out and continue the show in an empty arena?
ReplyDeleteHe should stay in a tag team with Sin Cara. It would extend the time in between injuries to 3...maybe 4 minutes.
ReplyDeleteIt was probably a creditor.
ReplyDeleteAt least RVD's kicks look legit (and are legit from what I understand). As for the rest... as a short guy myself I always liked that it was believable that he could compete with the giants and kind of broke through that mold in a business that really supports it... but pumping himself up the way he did, combined with his cartoon like offense made him lose a lot of stature in my eyes.
ReplyDeleteDeath, taxes, and When Will Rey Return? stories on dirtsheets.
ReplyDeleteI liked the pairing with Ricardo at first. Sure, it was completely nonsensical, but that's OK sometimes. It was fun for a minute.
ReplyDeleteNow, it's borderline fast-forward stuff, because even though I too like RVD, I can't imagine them doing something worth writing about that night.
Cruel but fair
ReplyDeleteIts just age and injuries catching up. If a guy like Hogan, who had a very sedentary style, needs his back screwed together like a mechano set, you can only wonder how Rey must feel after years if basically hurling himself all over the ring and into his opponents.
ReplyDeleteYeah, it's probably time for him to call it a day. Maybe he can hang in there for one last Wrestlemania payday, but I hope he doesn't permanently cripple himself in the process.
ReplyDeleteJeez, Rey Mysterio's return has gone through more delays than the RoboCop remake.
ReplyDeleteHe also seems to be completely oblivious to the fact that nearly every other wrestling promotion that has gone the Internet PPV route has never had these constant fuckups, only ROH has.
