nxt entertainment factor

hey scott, since you also seem to appreciate current NXT, what do you think is the biggest factor that the hour seems to fly by, compared to RAW (or SD for that matter)?

1hr means a faster-paced, more action-filled show, compared to the draaaaagging  3hr RAW and RAW-recap city SD?
fresher, more diverse, more exotic characters? (Breeze, Enzo, Emma, Bayley...)
a way more entertaining women's division? and ppl CARE about them?
most wrestlers being over?
Regal on commentary plus Renee conducting most interviews?
returning homegrown guys getting treated like stars that "made it"? (Shield, Big E)
super babyface Sami Zayn?
super douche heel Bo Dallas?
super-hot Tyler Breeze?
super-melodic Aiden English?
you decide!

eah, the show is simply booked, with a new and fresh cast of characters who rotate out and don't get stale all the time.  It reminds me a LOT of classic World Championship Wrestling that way.

    I didn't mention this in the NXT thread, but Sami Generico using his running corner boot as a finisher is a really solid idea- DDT variants as finishers just seem uninspired.

    There are lots of KTFO finishers right now. I'll bet a wrestler could get over stealing an MMA hold for the tap or even just the surfboard.

    Just Hulu Plus, but episodes more than a week old are free on Hulu now.

    even though it's logically the same as a ddt for the guy who's taking it, it's visually different enough for me to consider it a different category.

    There was a time during Langston's title reign when the show was kinda boring but it's really hitting its stride right now. As mentioned above, a hell of a lot of entertaining characters (I haven't gone from hating someone to loving someone as I have with Bo Dallas). The wrestling isn't *great* but it's solid, especially when Zayn or Neville compete. And the crowd's great too- they're into every match, and I love their interactions with the wrestlers (like Breeze from last week).

    The belts look horrible though.
