Since there were so many good memories after reading Bayless' transcript of his shoot 12 years ago I figured I'd pop up his full HoF speech. His voice is affected by his cancer but he's still the Brain. Have a wonderful weekend BoD'ers!
Manager, commentator, talk show host and Hall of Fame inductee - easily one of the greatest of all time. I'm so very glad I grew up listening to him and Monsoon.
I wont lie, it gets dusty when he wishes Gorilla was still alive. WWE needs to get on the ball and release a DVD with nothing but Gorilla and the Brain going at it on commentary.
"Pat Patterson's induction of Sgt.Slaughter will be broadcast at midnight in English."
Classic. I have to agree, this is probably my favorite speech from the Hall of Fame; Bobby was also incredibly nice when I interviewed him in 2006, so I'll always be a fan of the Brain.
A bunch of random heels should come out one day and declare themselves a new Heenan Family. Without Bobby, but just in tribute. Because BRAIN, that's why
I never get tired of this speech.
ReplyDeleteBest HOF speech. Hands down.
ReplyDeleteSo this is FUCKING AWESOME÷

ReplyDeleteIt must be good to know you are the absolute best in the world at what you do. Nobody can compare to The Brain.
ReplyDeleteBefore there were jabroni's, we had HAM n EGGers... Bobby, one of the best
ReplyDeleteIt's between this and JR's. It depends which one I watched last, really.
ReplyDeleteBest of Gorilla & Bobby.. I'd buy that on Blue Ray and I don't even have a Blue Ray player!!
ReplyDeleteTomorrow's video post?
ReplyDeleteBook it.
