> Hey Scott...I know the BoD has had plenty of DBry talk recently, but I had a thought. If the goal was to have an eventual unification match with Cena, why in the world wouldn't they give us Cena vs Bryan for the 2nd time? The pinfall Bryan got was cleaner than any other I can remember in a Cena match; in what world wouldn't building on that make for a great unification bout?

Still, if they ultimately wanted to give it back to John and unify the belts (or pretend that's what they're going to do...most of the blog anticipates a simple switch of the belts), how do you not address the fact that there is a guy who beat THE CHAMP? Who is HERE?

I shall.

Beefcake, just for something different.
ReplyDeleteBeefer. I want to hear more about the '80s. The Hart/Kliq era has been done to absolute death.
ReplyDeleteNash will win by a landslide but I vote for Luger.
ReplyDeleteNash! It's such an awesome fucking shoot, trust me.
ReplyDeleteAll three are tempting. I voted Nash, but I hope to see you cover all three eventually.
ReplyDeleteNash, I think that's the one I didn't read a review for recently (Beefcake & Lex were already reviewed in Kayfabe, Lies, and Alibis)
ReplyDeleteI went with Beefcake, too. I have much fonder memories of 1989 WWF and I'd love to read a review of his thoughts.
ReplyDeleteJust watched the Bruno 1963-1969 Timeline. It was great. Bruno mind is still very sharp
ReplyDeleteI think Bruno could give John Cena a good match today. He's in great shape for a man his age. Sort of like the Gary Player of the WWE.
ReplyDeleteI voted for Luger's 1993 shoot. I've seen lots of clips of Nash's 1995 interview piece, but haven't seen much of Luger's so I'd like to hear about it. Good choices, though, and I really enjoy reading your recaps of these.
ReplyDeleteBeefcake. 1989 personally was my favorite year in wrestling.
ReplyDeleteAlthough the date hasnt been announced yet, Kayfabe Commentaries filmed a timeline for 1989 WCW with Cornette. They also filmed a WCW timeline with Vader but the year hasnt been annnounced
