I can't believe people aren't taking HHH's claims of a unified title at TLC seriously. He said it In a WWE.com interview with Michael Cole! That's like a blood oath!

I can't believe people aren't taking HHH's claims of a unified title at TLC seriously. He said it In a WWE.com interview with Michael Cole! That's like a blood oath!
Why would only having one World Championship prevent the Rumble winner from wrestling for said World Championship at WrestleMania?
ReplyDeleteEmailer probably skipped a step and is thinking TLC will be a BCF (big clusterfuck) and they'll put off an actual unification til Mania
ReplyDeleteBecause the person who sent it to Scott probably forgot that there use to be one title to fight for and only remembers the choice between 2 or 3.
ReplyDeleteWhat does the Rumble winner get? Why a Wrestlemaina match against the Undertaker of course.
ReplyDeleteI moved this from the Bayless thread here bc it's more relevant...
ReplyDeleteI don't buy the fact the titles will be unified, but even if they are....so what? They've been treated like shit for years and all of a sudden it's a big deal if someone has 2 pieces of shit instead of 1?
A title belt is a PROP in a SIMULATED sport to show who the top guys are. When that title is devalued and you treat your tippy top guys as being above the title, nobody gives a shit about it and it's not a draw. The title has to be above everything else to give it any meaning. See how that works, WWE??? See???
I could care less about a possible unification, and it's actually annoying me they expect me to care about it. Man I miss the days of Austin vs Rock fighting over the belt just to see who was the best.
If the big egg isn't in here somewhere, I'm gonna hunt you guys down
ReplyDeleteAs much as I would hate to see yet another screwjob ending at TLC, it would be freakin sweet to have the Royal Rumble be for the Undisputed Unified WWE World Championship. I can't believe it has only been done once and that Rumble is still considered the greatest by almost everybody.
ReplyDeleteYou know as much as I agree with you on how devalued the titles are, I am actually stoked that they are finally getting unified. The 2 world titles have been unnecessary for a long time. I'm trying to be optimistic and think that this is actually a step in the right direction.
ReplyDeleteThe trouble with the unification match is I don't care who wins it, and this should be a huge deal. No matter if Cena wins, Orton wins, or it's a no contest... I just have zero vested emotional interest in it.
ReplyDeleteYea, I'm with you that the day of having two titles has past us. I think that having 1 will help bring a little value back to it. I'm just not excited for the actual unification due to what I said above.
ReplyDeleteNot only does no one care about the unification match, but they don't even have anyone setup to win the Rumble. Currently, there is no one on the active roster with any, dare I say, momentum going into the new year.
ReplyDeleteThat HHH guy seems above everyone else and enjoys himself every week. He in the rumble?
ReplyDeleteWould love that. And instead of the comedy spots for the legends, get a few that haven't done much lately desperate for their last shot at the gold. Use Goldberg here, let Ryback fluke him out, give ryback one last mini-run then squash the living shit out of him with Goldberg at mania. Maybe Sid if he hasn't latched on to a winter softball league.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure; however, I have been hearing about this kid down at the performance center named Aurora Rose. Got a good head on her shoulders and knows how to shake hands the right way. She's my sleeper pick as this years Rumble winner.
ReplyDeleteI hope whatever Shane's doing in China is super successful. Let him poach the girls off for his business and avoid that nightmare.
ReplyDeleteAm I the only one that can see HHH adding himself to the unification match at TLC?
ReplyDeleteNo, you are not. I watched that interview on wwe.com and it sounded like a promo for a guy about to get in the ring.
ReplyDeleteThere would be a sense of urgency for the Rumble, otherwise this is shaping up to be a very bad Royal Rumble.
ReplyDeleteHe's probably right.
ReplyDeleteI understand that, as I'm bored of Cena/Orton. But unifying the belts is a step in the right direction as it takes a major belt out of the watered down circulation.
ReplyDeleteBut you know WWE would screw that up by having the Undertaker win the Rumble.
ReplyDeleteObviously...
ReplyDeleteHogan wins the rumble and faces the winner of Cena/Orton at Mania for the undisputed belt.
I'm halfway joking...
I took a small beating last week, but how does a Det/Dallas tease lose today?
ReplyDeleteCena is gonna pull down the WWE Title and Orton the WHT, this switching championships. That's my prediction.
ReplyDeleteThe only redeeming value in the match would be if they let loose with the TLC stipulation, get some chairs flying and really make it an intense brawl.
ReplyDeleteWe're only a couple years away from the Rumble winner getting a trophy and an Arby's gift card.
ReplyDeleteThe unification is going to happen at TLC, except that they'll add Del Rio and Big Show to the match, and Del Rio is the winner.
ReplyDeletePlenty of people with momentum.
ReplyDeleteSo just like how it was the first 4-5 times.
ReplyDeleteOh no, it's all starting to come full circle.
ReplyDeleteI'll keep that in mind.
ReplyDeleteGranted I'm excluding the usual suspects, but I'm listening.
ReplyDeleteThe Rumble doesn't mean anything anymore. Neither do most of the Wrestlemania matches, really. They just have their handful of acceptable main eventers and they rearrange who meets who each year. Once they decide on who's facing who they give one of them the Rumble win and use Elimination Chamber to set up the other.
ReplyDeleteElimination Chamber is the worst since there's been twice that I recall where they did something screwy just to get the belt on a certain guy to set up the Wrestlemania match they likely finalized that weekend.
That's what I don't like about the Rumble now. It may have been slightly predictable in the past, but you had someone whose story was taking them to Wrestlemania and the Rumble was part of the journey. Now they'll just pick someone who hasn't won it yet. I know it's been beaten to death, but it's like how Jericho had a storyline that winning the Rumble fit, but they gave it to Sheamus just because.
ReplyDeleteOh come on, Road-Dogg and Jim Duggan will probably be there, what else do you want?
ReplyDeleteMy one and only concern for the Rumble is if Jake Roberts is in.
ReplyDeleteI hate when they do that, especially when - like you said - many of the "pre-ordained" (for lack of a better term) matches don't need the title.
ReplyDeleteEdge/Jericho from "WM26", for example, didn't need Edge to win the Rumble or for Jericho to win the title in the Chamber; it was a good old-fashioned "one tag partner turns on the other" angle, and Edge coming back from injury to show that he still has it would have been enough.
I like to refer to those scenarios as "rearranging furniture".
Brilliant.
ReplyDeleteI really hope that this unification match at "TLC" is just a red herring, and that the ACTUAL unification doesn't take place until "WM".
ReplyDeleteAs much as a screwy ending at "TLC" would suck, if it builds to a much bigger, much more important match at "WM" (especially if something like my dream scenario of Punk winning the Rumble and Bryan winning in the Chamber, setting up a 4-way unification match at "WM" were to actually happen), I think a lot of fans would be willing to forgive it.
I don't have a lot of faith in that actually happening, but I'm willing to deal with a bullshit ending at a crappy C-level PPV if it builds to something bigger and better.
Personally, I think that'd be fantastic. It's been talked about by fans for a few years, and would lead to a fantastic two-month build with real heat and story (as opposed to, say, Punk winning a random 4-way match on "Raw").
ReplyDeleteThanksgiving TJ...I love Thanksgiving, mostly for the Wednesday night of going out with friends/family and the food, but man is actual Thanksgiving Day fucking boring. I've been at my gfs families house for less then an hour and am already fucking bored. If i didn't bet these football games I'd shoot myself
ReplyDeleteThat's why I think Brock has a very good chance of being a surprise entrant and winning. Then Paul Heyman cuts a promo the next night challenging Taker instead of the WWE champ.
ReplyDelete"Once they decide on who's facing who they give one of them the Rumble win and use Elimination Chamber to set up the other."
ReplyDeleteIt's almost as if the show is scripted or something.... :P
Wait a minute? Too many men on the field is a reviewable play but bogus personal foul calls about shots to the head aren't? When did counting become harder to do in real time than seeing precisely where 2 people moving very quickly made contact?
ReplyDeleteIt could do a lot to make them actually meaningful again.
ReplyDeletehelluva underrated match
ReplyDeleteHe'd get a date with Mickie James?
ReplyDeleteYou know what would be nice, have four different guys building momentum and all having stories that could take them to WM. and they don't have to be the same story, just give each guy a purpose to win the Rumble. Then make them the final four. It's not perfect but you get the story aspect without the big predictability.
ReplyDeleteMegatron is a fucking beast. I said this before but I'd pay alot to see a Megatron/LBJ/AP fight.
ReplyDeleteYou will be listening for a while... trolls tend not to explain themselves when it is easier to just be a contrarian asshole
ReplyDeleteGo make a football thread
ReplyDeleteIs it a date with a happy ending or just a regular date? Because either way, I'll enter the Rumble and my adrenaline fueled body will do the rest. That's how the end of my date with Mickie James would go as well.
ReplyDeleteWhy? Not enough games
ReplyDeleteFor a second I thought he was talking about Megatron the Transformer. And then I thought he wanted Megatron to fight John Bradshaw Leyfield. I get confused easily.
ReplyDeleteRoman Reigns
ReplyDeleteCody Rhodes
CM Punk
Daniel Bryan
Sheamus
Bray Wyatt
Big E
Antonio Cesaro
I'd fully endorse a Megatron JBL fight if JBLs vocal chords get destroyed so he can never announce again.
ReplyDeleteSee was that so hard?
ReplyDeleteThat said I don't see how Sheamus has momentum while having been injured since July though I can still see him winning... Bryan is the only other one on your list with a real shot at winning it.
How does Bryan have momentum?
ReplyDeleteFirst mistake was playing a road game by going to a families you don't know. I flew cross country Tuesday just to avoid that ackwardness. Her family is local and I don't have enough friends staying local for me to use that as an excuse. So I had to travel. I sat watching football right up until we ate, stuffed my face and promptly went right back to the game (which I even paused).
ReplyDeleteNow I'm sitting here way full waiting for pie time while other people clean shit. This is tremendous. Gotta play Thanksgiving dinner with the home court advantage bro.
A complete agree with this 100% but I do feel a bit better over the last few years since they at least identified the wwe title has being more important.
ReplyDeleteOh man, all good points. Thats sounds tremoundous. My parents have came down and vacationed here for a week the past few years during Thanksgiving so am used to that.
ReplyDeleteThe going to a family's place you barely know is so awkward. You first have to make small talk, then the inevitable questions about you dating their daughter, all while trying to watch football that you've bet money on.
I want the world to know that last night I watched survivor series 88...in my parents basement. True story.
ReplyDeleteAlso I highly recommend everyone go watch the tag team match from that show today as you celebrate Thanksgiving. I got good and stoned (edibles in my luggage) and watched it closely. ****1/4. Would be 4.5 but I don't love the ending and frankly the double turn wasn't executed great.
I want to see promos of JBL on a space station preventing other autobots from coming to Earth.
ReplyDeleteAre you Calvin Candie?
ReplyDeleteCreate a what if post about what if Farva made a football post.
ReplyDeleteI remember being convinced Ziggler was going to win after the double turn earlier this year.
ReplyDeleteHaha. The butterfly effect of that would be huge.
ReplyDeleteThey just ran an angle where Bryan was found in the parking lot. So we are going to say no on him.
ReplyDeleteReigns has been stuck in tag matches. It's a big stretch to give him the Rumble and a title shot at WM.
CM Punk could win and main event but he doesn't have any momentum either cause he's been riding the mid card treadmill since September.
The rest are laughable at this point.
I voted Obama once!!!
ReplyDeleteI think the Rumble being predictble is ok cause it's essentially giving the fans what they have been begging for. If a red-hot babyface existed we would all love to see him win the Rumble, main event WM, and win the title. Predictable does not have to equal boring, but there isn't a thing wrong with it sometimes.
ReplyDeleteI don't like going to a gfs family's house for a 20 minute pop in much less a major holiday.PrProbably the worst call I ever made was taking a weekend trip with an ex gf to visit her family in Iowa. Just the worst. But I learned my lesson. I'd frankly rather fake an illness and stay home than go to a families I don't know, especially if I'm dating one of them.
ReplyDeleteI cringe at the thought of Sheamus winning the Rumble. I've seen them make worse decision tho...
ReplyDeleteI want you to know that I watched that LIVE ON PPV WHEN IT AIRED. The first one we ever got the old man to order.
ReplyDeleteI knew I wasn't the only one betting all three games today. I want to give thanks to matt Flynn...for being exactly who I thought he was!
ReplyDeleteI'd bet Reigns right now. It doesn't make logical sense but it does make Vince sense.
ReplyDeleteWhat you bet? I teased Dallas/Det. Money line Rave s also
ReplyDelete2010 did a pretty good job with that.
ReplyDeleteBryan, Punk, Brock are the top choices in that order. Nothing else makes sense.
ReplyDeleteThat's fantastic. I know the card was rocked by injury (who the fuck was that nobody on Jake Roberts team) but it was still so awesome. Great match ups with the snake vs andres team (with the whole fantastic Andre is scared shirtless of Damien angle) and a great heel finish, mega powers vs team twin towers, and that fucking tag match with aa, tully, demolition, Bret, Shawn, dynamite kid...even Paul Roma hit some awesome spots in that match.
ReplyDeleteHell, we've seen them make THAT decision.
ReplyDeleteI was trying to find a way to say it but that sums it up - "rearranging furniture". Was that the year that Edge lost one title and then entered the second chamber to win the title and set up the other title match? They also did it with Cena/Batista - it's February and they want Batista defending the title against Cena at Wrestlemania. Only Sheamus is the WWE Champion. So just have Cena win the chamber and Batista randomly comes out for another match so he can have the title. They sort of did it with Triple H/Orton to, as Orton won the Rumble and was already messing with the McMahons. Coincidently Triple H wins the WWE Championship, but the match happens because Triple H challenged Orton to challenge him, essentially making the Rumble victory meaningless.
ReplyDeleteAgreed, the Wrestlemania main event should be something you can predict months ahead of time because the company should be moving in that direction. A dominant bad guy's doing his thing while a dominant face is doing his thing and their paths meet at Wrestlemania. All they do now is pair off their main eventers and try to find a story for the match 6 weeks before Wrestlemania.
ReplyDeleteThey seem to like the surprise entrant returns from injury to win the Rumble thing. Edge and Cena won in their returns just because.
ReplyDeleteJake and Duggan had the worst team ever. Scott Casey? how did he make it?? That gigantic tag match was the best thing ever. The turn was rather confusing. It lasted forever but didn't feel like it.
ReplyDeleteOriginally, we missed out on the first match cause we couldn't figure out how to order the damn thing.
Madden would be jizzing himself over the lions o-line play today
ReplyDeleteI'll take boring over not being with the family for the holiday and having to work a 5:30pm-5:30am shift at Best Buy. Today is gonna blow so hard...
ReplyDeleteIt seemed like they were setting things up for Ziggler to chase Del Rio. But instead they just blew it off in a month or two and had Cena save the WHC from Del Rio.
ReplyDeleteGod, I'd love Bryan. How do you think it plays out though? Give HHH the WHC and go Bryan vs HHH at WM to pay it off? Bryan vs Orton at Mania? I'm not sure how they get from Bryan winning the Rumble to WM.
ReplyDeleteTurkey legs for everyone!
ReplyDeleteI bet the lions -6.5 and then did a three way 6 pt tease, det -.5, Dallas -3.5 and Pitt at plus 8.5
ReplyDeleteOh and I bet under 40.5 for Baltimore vs Pitt.I might bet tthe cowboys game out right. I wish I could bet Oakland on the ml at +350 but there is no chance
Matt Flynn threw for 71 yards. How is that even possible?
ReplyDeleteMan what's rarer than a good Thanksgiving day football game?
ReplyDeleteI teased Dallas also but man is that game making me real nervous.
ReplyDeleteIf this was 1990 that would be negative 71 yarda
ReplyDeleteI hate how he keeps getting chances based off 1 throw away regular season game vs a 2nd string defense.
ReplyDeleteThe Ziggler de push is frustrating and depressing. He was RIGHT THERE after the double turn.
ReplyDeleteAny NFL QB should be worth at least twice that. I'm with you though, it amazes me how he's been able to coast off that while Vince Young sits at home.
ReplyDeleteBryan/Cena 2.
ReplyDeleteI think he said something in an interview that rubbed them the wrong way. Supposedly. It's too bad, aside from his in-ring talent he seems to really feel his character.
ReplyDeleteSmiling Sheamus comes back for a big win.
ReplyDeleteBonus points if this was watched on VHS.
ReplyDeleteHe said something in a lot of interviews that rubbed them the wrong way. If you want to hear it look for the Peter Rosenberg interview he did during WM weekend.
ReplyDeleteIf I had to pick a main event/title match based solely on my personal preference it's Brock defending against Punk. It's not quite as special as it would be without the Summerslam match but I've always liked the idea we all pitched where Brock just destroys Punk and the story of the match is the David vs Goliath aspect. A true "overcoming the odds" story, rather than the "can the jacked up guy who always wins beat the guy who's smaller than him and never wins?" story.
ReplyDeleteI think it's to early to split the shield up, think you can still explore some stuff with them, but I'm sipping the Reigns Kool aid...big time. He's got it all
ReplyDeleteVince Young? Are you serious?
ReplyDeleteI'm not a Sheamus fan so this makes me cringe. Cena comes out and they celebrate with a grin off.
ReplyDeleteYeah, he's who I'd put the money on. Or Sheamus, if he's back by then.
ReplyDeleteI personally don't see it. At this point he looks like generic big man #3285, but I also see this as inevitable.
ReplyDeleteHa. VY baby!!! He's been REAL bad, especially when he was in philly, but I can't believe he's not on a roster. He must be a head case or something bc he could play a little. He was like 31 and 19 as a starter.
ReplyDeleteThey really don't have much of a choice. They can't put any of the retreads in there and expect it to take so it has to be someone they haven't destroyed with nonsensical booking decisions.
ReplyDeleteYou'd be better off signing Tim Tebow. They both completely suck, but at least with Tebow you can be relatively sure he won't literally start crying when he gets booed.
ReplyDeleteVince Young came in and, in my opinion, won that backup qb job this summer. You telling me he's not better than the crapfest they have put out the last six weeks?
ReplyDeleteMost big dudes aren't even a tenth as athletic as he is. Dude gives Ziggler and Brock a run for their money for best bumps.
ReplyDeleteHe "won" the backup job this past summer.
ReplyDeleteLol. I forgot about that...and then him going MIA while people thought he was going to kill himself.
ReplyDeleteI'd have Bryan win it, but I'm thinking they already have plans for him. Big E winning wouldn't shock me either, supposedly they want to start pushing him.
ReplyDeleteYou read that longform Tebow interview up on Sports Illustrated? Try telling the guy that wrote that, that Tebow sucks.
ReplyDeleteI'd bet money Sheamus is coming back as a heel. But smiling Sheamus was so god awful, they Diesel'd him.
ReplyDeleteFunny thing is, the fans in attendance initially viewed it as a Fuji face turn.
ReplyDeleteNo, I did not. And he does suck, if he was any good he'd be employed right now.
ReplyDeleteI'm an eagles fan so followed him closely in philly. The rumblimgs from the "inside" were that he literally couldn't learn the play book and couldn't make a read to save his life. He was horrific that year.
ReplyDeleteI mean what's his character? Why is he in the WWE? Hell, they never bothered to explain when and why they started working for HHH. They just show up and beat a guy down and leave. It's about as generic as it gets. Maybe they can give him a personality in the next two months, but he doesn't have one right now.
ReplyDeleteBrock/Bryan is my personal WM main event preference. Bryan wins Rumble, Cena retains title at EC, HHH makes a deal with the devil to finally get the title off Cena before Mania. Makes Cena defend title the night after EC on Raw against Brock. Brock wins. Bryan beats Brock.
ReplyDeleteThe guy has proven that he's just not mentally stable enough. Not that I'm saying Flynn is better, I mean, when the fucking Bills cut you, you suck. See also: Vince Young.
ReplyDeleteVince Young proved himself to Green Bay this summer. He was the best backup qb in camp and they cut him in my opinion because of stuff from the past. If he came in and did what was asked how could he not deserve the job?
ReplyDeleteThis is why I think it's a little to early to break up the shield...explore the stuff you've mentioned first. He's uber athletic, great look, young, great in ring work for his size, amd just has "it". My only questions on him are his ability to work longer matches and his ability to cut a real money promoo, but I give him the benefit of the doubt on both of those.
ReplyDeleteIt's too soon for both Big E and Reigns. They need another year of solid booking.
ReplyDeleteI'm not a Packers fan (the NFC North might as well be the CFL as far as I'm concerned), so I guess I have to take your word for it. I doubt they cut him because of past history though, if that was the case he never would have been brought in to begin with.
ReplyDeleteAnd what exactly did the Powers of Pain do to turn heel? Man that was way way way too complicated.
ReplyDeleteSolid booking? In this company? You're a funny guy, cult...
ReplyDeleteThey work for HHH because they are assholes and hypocrites. They're there to win titles and fuck up people. They explained this awhile ago.
ReplyDeletePowers of Pain were already heels.
ReplyDeleteTrue on the last part, but the consensus was that he won the job. Seneca Wallace, Tolzien, Flynn. Vince Young wouldn't look out of place in that lineup. He'd probably suck too, but he wouldn't be any worse.
ReplyDeleteWere they? I don't think they were but I haven't watched it in a while.
ReplyDeleteFunny how? Like I'm a clown? I'm here to amuse you? HOW AM I FUCKING FUNNY?!
ReplyDeleteI'll take your word on that. Every time I see them on tv they are doing the absolute same thing they did the week before, the exact same way they did the week before. There has been zero character development for months and now all of a sudden they can't get along and are about to break up?
ReplyDeleteYeah they were babyfaces
ReplyDeleteThey are getting along fine, WWE is just planting the seeds for a breakup but fans are like OMG THEY'RE GONNA BREAK UP NEXT WEEK WTF
ReplyDeleteThe post-match Coliseum exclusive interview. Plus on the house show circuit they attacked various low level faces (such as Paul Roma) for putting their hands on Fuji.
ReplyDeleteEven the Apter mags back then expressed confusion over the turn.
In JCP/NWA, yes, but not initially in the WWF.
ReplyDeleteAh, I see. That has to be the only turn in history that no one got.
ReplyDeleteYou're right, I just looked it up on wiki. I thought they just put them on the babyface team to make the Demo turn work.
ReplyDeleteI like the play of "HHH making a deal with the devil to finally get the belt off Cena" It would make me really want to see Brock/Cena on the Wm big stage more them Brock/Bryan tho.
ReplyDeleteThis is random as all get out, but do you remember the 6-man from Nitro with DDP, Sting, Luger vs Flair, Hogan, and Hart? Everyone forgot who the face and heels were and started cheering from the wrong team.
ReplyDeleteDon't know why, but this conversation reminded me of that.
I know the Cena going corporate champion talk is sacrilegious and no one is allowed to bring it up anymore, but................................just kidding.
ReplyDeleteI don't remember alot from post 98 WCW. Actually 99-01 for both companies is a blur to me for some reason even though I was still watching every week at that point.
ReplyDeleteHey asshole, Goodfellas quotes are MY gimmick. Now go home and get your fucking shinebox!
ReplyDeleteQuick Barbarian story: I was at a NWA show at the Omni when I was 4 or 5 or so. Barbarian comes out and, according to my dad, I was so scared of him I was literally trying to crawl under my seat because I was sure he was coming after me.
ReplyDeletehttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ErxUsr5GLBU
ReplyDeleteI got a HBK vibe from him too, thought they were even gonna give him the superkick finish, he is the only one who can almost do it as well as Shawn. Big Show even said in an interview that they need to give him that finish.
ReplyDeleteHe probably is better than whatever a "Tolzien" is.
ReplyDeleteI've always loved Barbarian. Dude was a bit underrated I think. I loved the Faces of Fear tag team in WCW. They could have been a way bigger deal in a different era. WCW was just so clogged with tag teams at the time though.
ReplyDeleteI'd like to see hhh vs Orton get 45 minutes to close the show.
ReplyDeleteSheamus coming back as a heel makes too much sense.
ReplyDeleteSince this thread is one big threadjack already, can we talk about how fucking amazing Austin and his podcast is? I would have never bet on that happening in a million years. Dude seems like he is biggest wrestling nerd of all time, I love it. Forgot about WWE throwing a truckload of money at him to wrestle, they need to throw a truckload of money at him to host a show on the WWE network.
ReplyDeleteI don't understand why the Powers of Pain didn't make it. They had everything Vince seems to want.
ReplyDeleteSo the PoP quit the NWA because they didn't want to do a scaffold match. The Road Warriors came out on tv and cut a promo on them for it. I don't blame the PoP for walking, f that!
Hhh was the kind of guy who liked to dress like barbarians from the movies.
ReplyDeleteThe first few episodes his cadence was really odd. You could tell the questions were written ahead of time and it almost seemed like he recorded them and sent them to the subject who then recorded answers to them. He has really gotten much more comfortable and natural with it. I think I still prefer Colt's show, but Austin definitely benefits from being able to get the bigger name guests.
ReplyDeleteWe also need to talk about why Marv Cresto is not posting any reviews of said podcasts since he agreed to do so last week. I hear they are awesome but I'd much rather prefer someone do the write-up for me.
ReplyDeleteWho is Marv Cresto?
ReplyDeleteHe posts on the board occasionally
ReplyDeleteHis mind for the business is just amazing. I love hearing him talk about how he would do things (it's typically always the opposite of what wwe is doing). Fucking smart dude but I attribute some of his knowledge to working all over the world, in 3 major north Americans promotions, etc. The wwe guys today will never learn the nuances of how to draw, booking, etc like guys like Austin did
ReplyDeleteI love that he asks every quest about David Shultz. It has basically become a running gag.
ReplyDeleteHe must of forgotten to shake my hand. Job duty for 3 months for that guy now.
ReplyDeleteYou win!
ReplyDeleteThis is definitely the best idea.
ReplyDeleteThat's a huge bitch!
ReplyDeleteIf that's what he wants to do, fine, I hope WWE gives him a shot. But still... I mean, if I was Chris Benoit's kid I'd change my name and just try to lay low and shit. BTW, there's a guy on the NFL network named Andy Benoit that looks a lot like Chris, I wonder if they're related.
ReplyDeleteTriple H takes way too many digs at the smark mindset not to be obsessed with them.
ReplyDeleteBecause heel heat translates to face heat for your opponent. He doesn't WANT to give more heat to Bryan. That was the point.
ReplyDeleteWaaaaaaaaaaah
ReplyDeleteAre you Bruno Mars?
ReplyDeleteBeing from Canada, I wonder if Scott remembers...INTERGALACTIC THANKGIVING. This was when Nelvana was doing animated specials before series.
ReplyDelete
