Having read that book about Nancy recently, I'm glad that Snuka might finally be facing justice.

Oh man, if he's convicted, I don't even want to know how many hours they'll have to spend sanitizing his name during her matches.
ReplyDelete"'s' all good man."
ReplyDeleteEh, Snuka seems to do pretty good in a cage.
ReplyDeleteBut if Brock chooses WCW, and Benoit and Eddie remain in WCW, even if they inevitably make it to WWE, wouldn't they have to be punished for choosing WCW?
ReplyDeleteThe NEW person to be erased from www history! So much for the WrestleMania I main event and first Undertaker streak match!
ReplyDelete"..daughter of Jimmy [Hart]..."
ReplyDeletemajor lesson to be learned: don't get involved with a wrestler if your name is nancy
ReplyDeleteI'm hazy on the details beyond " he probably killed his gf in the '80s" and the F4 link doens't say much. Can someone fill me in?
ReplyDeleteHow will this affect his daughter, Tamina, daughter of WWE Hall of Famer Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka?
ReplyDeleteI don't think know if people who stuck around with WCW weren't really 'punished' just for being in WCW. Just look at Booker. Although I don't remember exactly what it is that DDP and Kanyon did to piss people off.
ReplyDeleteMagnum TA's accident is so long ago. It's really hard to tell how he would have done. It's clear in retrospect that people liked him - specifically Dusty, Flair, and Crockett. They were setting him up for a big push - but who knows how he would have done? There are plenty of guys who were being setup for a big push that failed once they were on top. Sometimes due issues with them specifically, sometimes with the promotion and booking, sometimes both. It's an interesting question, but who really knows how he would have done? I think Magnum/Flair would have drawn. But how would he have drawn with other heels?

ReplyDeleteThat's his daughter?!
ReplyDelete31 year old case. Odds this doesn't go to trial?
ReplyDeleteWHAT?! WHY WERE WE NOT TOLD?!?
ReplyDelete" he probably killed his gf in the '80s"...that's about it
ReplyDeleteWorst case scenario, Magnum has Luger's career arc.
ReplyDeleteI don't feel like I need to read the rest of the thread.
ReplyDelete:: Closes laptop, walks away ::
1. He would have been fine. Maybe goes to WWF and takes over the Warrior spot as 1B to Hogan?
ReplyDelete2. Brock isn't that stupid
3. They would have left when their contracts were up anyway.
Per rumor Undertaker was not a big fan of DDP for whatever (wrong) reason.
ReplyDeleteMagnum would have gotten WCW off to a good start with a strong babyface - JCP was dying due to their awful bookkeeping, so at least Ted would have started well. I think Magnum would have been a better #1 face at that time than Sting just due to his experience.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I knew 'Taker didn't like him, I just don't remember why (if there was a reason that was ever made public).
