WWE Network to Add More Content Once the Free Trial Ends?
A source has told PWInsider.com's Mike Johnson that a lot of content will be added once the free trial is over. The reason for this is that they wanted the trial to sample enough to get them to pay but not give them everything at once. That same source also told Johnson that they plan on adding every episode of "Saturday Night's Main Event" and "Clash of the Champions" at some point.

Cesaro Update
There are currently plans in place for a major Cesaro push after WrestleMania. However, due to most of the card being set already, he does not have a prominent role in the show.

Problems at Last Night's NXT Arrival Show
In addition to the technical problems, the building ended up overselling the show and 200 fans were not allowed in the building.

Names Confirmed for Next WWE Tryout Camp
Both Roderick Strong and Kevin Steen have been confirmed for the next camp, which runs from 3/24-3/26. Michael Elgin is trying to get in and there has been no word as to whether or not he has officially been invited.

I'd like to see Cesaro vs Shaemus beat the hell out of each other.
ReplyDeleteHmmm.....every SNME, or going outside when it gets warmer.....
ReplyDeleteThis is now officially an either/or scenario
Only WWE could could push a guy by not giving him shine at their biggest Pay Per View. #wwelogic
ReplyDeleteIf you live in the Northeast, you dont have to worry about warm weather right now.
ReplyDeleteMan.. I'm just imagining how many subscribers they would have had during that huge snowstorm a few weeks ago. Millions of people with nothing to do sitting at home watching wrestling..
ReplyDeleteI did say 'when', since SNME won't be added until after the trial period. Spring's in 3 weeks, which feels like a foreign concept to us Jerseyians
ReplyDelete1. Makes sense
ReplyDelete2. Pretty normal to elevate someone after WM. Of course his build will probably end up him jobbing to Cena (oh wait...)
3. Read the article, the ticket thing sounds stupid. Why they thought people would stay away from, what was advertised, as NXT's first "ppv" is beyond me. I had no technical issues with the show lasst night. Live stream worked great the whole time. Ran it on kindle fire HD. *shrug*
heads up for roku users:
ReplyDeletego to settings, there is an update available and my network suddenly is working perfect, no interruptions or loading issues at all
finally i can enjoy gab 89
I had severe buffering issues during Cesaro/Zayn on PS3, but jumped to WWE.com at the first sign of trouble. No issues the rest of the night, and a side by side shows WWE.com finished the match about 4-5 minutes ahead of PS3.
ReplyDeleteAny updates on the Sting - wwe? Haven't seen any new on him in a few weeks
ReplyDeleteJust watched Raw. I've been anti Taker/Brock but the state down and Brocks facials were pretty awesome. I do wonder if they had other plans for Brock after the wwe title rants he went on or if this was the plan to get to Taker all along. It seems like they just hedged their bets and didn't have solidified plans for Brock until real recently.
ReplyDeleteThis Winter has sucked. More snow for us in Mass on Sunday. Another 8-10 inches
ReplyDeleteThis is why I don't check the forecast anymore.
ReplyDeleteThanks. I've been losing patience with the Roku.
ReplyDeleteHas Disqus been really shitty for anyone else really?
ReplyDeleteYeah ive had problems the past couple days.
ReplyDeleteNothing new on that front.
ReplyDeleteI'd like to Yoshie Tatsu beat the hell out of Sheamus for taking his protein shaker again ...
ReplyDeleteQuestion about watching the netwoek on the smartphone app - is only the livestream available, because I could not figure out a way to access the archives from my phone?
ReplyDeleteyeah, it almost seems like they were surprised that their marketing and hype paid off?!
ReplyDelete(cue Vince and Triple H backstage: "now why the hell didn't that work with the return of Batista?")
Good. I thought the Clash and SNME were kind of essential, especially Clash since without those you really don't have as many PPVs as one would think.. Still waiting to hear about Hardcore TV though.
ReplyDeleteIt will be interesting what happens the next few weeks with the network since last nights NXT was their first big steam test and by all accounts it kind of shit the bed. Each live stream failure leading up to Mania is no good. If it craps out during Mania...they might be hosed for a long time AND fans might have a legit claim on refund demands.
It's a pain in the ass. If you have an Iphone anyway you want to NOT tap the click here to view the network and then go to the upper left corner to bring up the menu and click the wwe network link from there.
ReplyDeleteThat is what the Iphone is for.
ReplyDeleteIf we are to assume that Wrestlemania is where you finish your major feuds, then from a storyline perspective, it makes sense to not start something now just to get him on the card.
ReplyDeleteI have a Samsung (Galaxy Note), but I'm sure it probably is the same process. I tried just typing the network address into my Chrome browser on the phone but all that does it bring up a link to get the app.
ReplyDeleteJust for information sake...
ReplyDeleteI canceled my wwe network subscription this morning. The site told me that I'll still have access until the 5th, which is a week from when I first ordered. As many sources said the free trial ended on Sunday regardless of when you purchased, I thought some might like to know. I'll let you guys know when I see the refund (they said 5 minutes for the transaction), and if I can still get on when I get home today, if anyone is curious.
Agreed, he needs a good win on the card and then kick him off strong the next night on Raw.
ReplyDeleteHoly shit what an awesome avatar
ReplyDeleteYes, beating Dolph Ziggler in a random match with no build and no heat would push him to the moon!
ReplyDelete#somebodyslogic
I'm gunna duck for cover here, but...
ReplyDeleteMy stream worked perfectly last night on my desktop. I even streamed it out to a few friends.
I wish i'd checked the blog during the show, would have given you guys a link.
I agree but he's over now. Why not give him amd a guy like Dolph or Kofi 15 minutes to put on a 4 star match. If they plan on pushing him post mania, what's the downside in that?
ReplyDeleteKing Kong Bundy squashed a guy in 9 seconds on the first WM.. a year later he was on the main event.
ReplyDeleteMy live stream has been jumping around.
ReplyDeleteFinally. Not that I watch much on my roku, but good to know the fix is there.
ReplyDeleteThats awesome. I honestly wish they would end the free trial right away and doublr the price to shake off a lot of the dead weight.
ReplyDeleteHoly shit this is fucking miserable. 5 degrees.
ReplyDeleteAround here it might not be warm until the first week or two of June. Cleveland doesn't rock.
ReplyDeleteYeah, no bullshit, good angles, good characters and it draws. Who knew?
ReplyDeleteDouble the price? I think $10 is a really fair price point. I'm mainly getting the network for the live pay per views. $10 is completely reasonable for a monthly pay per view event. I'm honestly not sure how much time I will have to sit around and watch old shows. I did a lot of that many years ago when I was a "wrestling historian".
ReplyDeleteJust ordered the network this morning since I'm off today. Holy shit, this is like porn. Any forgotten classics people have watched this week? Just fucked with some 91 wcw
ReplyDeleteI think it stays at $10 for at least a year. I believe the highest they could go is probably $19.95 without losing a ton of people. Higher than that would be pushing it within the first few years.
ReplyDeleteWatch the 81 msg show. Patterson vs slaughter and backlund vs Stan Hansen in the cage. Two wild matches
ReplyDeleteTrue, that's a good point. my first reaction was to say that was a different era, but they did that with Seamus and Bryan.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure everyone has watched the MSG Flair - Piper match which is excellent. I also want to suggest Flair - Piper from Bash at the Beach 97'. This was the only good Piper match from his entire WCW run.
ReplyDeleteNot really a pain in the ass thing to do...
