Raw In Chicago

Is this Monday on RAW going to being the biggest crowd hijacking yet? Doesn't it seem likely that we will get a full three hours of nothing but CM Punk chants?

Don't be ridiculous.  There's going to be AT LEAST one "Randy Savage" chant to break up the monotony.

Comments

  1. Not that their shitty booking was the plan all along, just that they had 0 sense of urgency to build to a great card since they had this network card in their back pocket

    ReplyDelete
  2. I think they are going to be torn between wanting to destroy the company, and meeting that guy from Breaking Bad.

    ReplyDelete
  3. No, they actually think this is good stuff. Have you learned NOTHING?!?

    ReplyDelete
  4. Thanks Pop, WWE thinks that this is what's best for business.

    ReplyDelete
  5. This Monday will be glorious. Not missing it for the world.

    ReplyDelete
  6. Still remember Scott shocked at Mania 22 when the crowd shifts to Mickie James in her match with Trish. It's Chicago, we love to screw around with expectations.

    ReplyDelete
  7. Course already the buzz at places "well, if Punk appears, we know we all got worked big time."

    ReplyDelete
  8. You forgot to say "Yo" and "bitch" in that sentence. Bitch.

    ReplyDelete
  9. The roof will explode if he returns, but what if he doesn't and they troll you with his theme anyway?

    ReplyDelete
  10. Forgive me, I've never watched the show. Proceed to tell me how much I am missing out.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Will he be allowed to say his catchphrase of "bitch" in the PG era?

    ReplyDelete
  12. Hell no. I'm not "one of those." Watch what you want when you can.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Any chance their going with the Batista/Orton title match b/c they're hoping the crowd will spontaneously start singing Fandango's theme song?

    ReplyDelete
  14. Don't be at all surprised if Punk ends up showing up on Raw next week...

    ReplyDelete
  15. Thank you, I was afraid you would bash me.

    ReplyDelete
  16. ... and gets inserted into the main event of WM to make it a 3-way dance.

    ReplyDelete
  17. I think every male switched to Mickie by the end of that match... ;)

    ReplyDelete
  18. Believe me, I hate that shit too.

    ReplyDelete
  19. And what type of message will that send?

    ReplyDelete
  20. That they planned this all along?

    ReplyDelete
  21. Were I not recapping it for this site, I'd try to do a CM Punk Chant Drinking Game. With soda, of course, because it's Punk. I anticipate anyone doing this for real will suffer THE worst sugar crash around 1 AM ET.

    ReplyDelete
  22. If it was a work, yes, but if Punk said he would come back on certain conditions, well....

    ReplyDelete
  23. You are literally the worst person that has ever lived.

    ReplyDelete
  24. I guess I am Lax, I guess I am.

    ReplyDelete
  25. For the record I haven't watched it either

    ReplyDelete
  26. Do it with Pepsi, and you'll stay up all night off the caffeine rush.

    ReplyDelete
  27. The lost viewers are starting to come out one by one.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Well he's always wanted to close out a Mania so I'd guess that was his only condition.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Punk will then quite literally, save the match from being a disaster.

    ReplyDelete
  30. "I'm afraid I've got some BAD NEEWS"

    ReplyDelete
  31. They'll tip over the podium, then he'll fall and crack his head on the concrete.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Please don't let him flub his lines

    ReplyDelete
  33. If I can't let myself hope against all logic for things such as Punk coming back on Monday, I've lost the ability to be a wrestling fan.

It's the same attitude that always makes me have hope that the next 5-star hoops phenom from Chicago will come to Illinois this time.

I never said I was smart.

    ReplyDelete
  34. He'll come back on Raw in the rafters wearing all black. Then for the next few months we'll randomly see him up there. Occasionally he'll drop down from the rafters to point a straight edge ruler at random people to test their allegiance but will refuse to speak a word. Then at next year's Wrestlemania he'll finally wrestle again against Hulk H.... erm, Triple H for the heavyweight title in the main event which, after all the intense build up, will end up being disappointing.

    ReplyDelete
  35. They'll cut to commercials and those moments will not be shown on the app.

    ReplyDelete
  36. But who'll be the ref? Scott Armstrong?

    ReplyDelete
  37. Fuck the negativity, this will be my first Mania live and I'll enjoy it no matter what.

Seriously though it could still end up great. But I admit I'm not quite as anti-WWE as most seem to be here.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Evil twin Earl Hebner with Colt Cabana, wearing a referee's shirt making the count when Earl is incapacitated.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Ha! Just like that one thing.

    ReplyDelete
  40. I think you should play the alcohol version of the game BECAUSE you're recapping the show.

    ReplyDelete
  41. It's worth watching. I just finished, and I dug it.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Best one ever: MAGNETS, BITCH.

    ReplyDelete
  43. I'm really looking forward to Raw. Either we'll get Punk back, which is good, because...Punk.

Or, he won't be there and the crowd will just shit all over everything.

Either way, it should be fun to watch.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Even better option; that's how BonDallas makes his second main roster debut.

    ReplyDelete
  45. I'm hoping that Disney didn't lie to me and dreams can actually become real.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Either way, its going to be fascinating to watch.

    ReplyDelete
  47. The plan is to make Wrestlemania XXX special by holding the first all heel main event.

    ONCE IN A LIFETIME!

    ReplyDelete
  48. This is the first show where my friends and I have had to actually talk one another from off the ledge, ensuring that we would all go.

Final vote is Friday, right now it's 3-2 No. I voted yes, it'd be my fourth Wrestlemania (XXII, XXIV, XXV). You can actually see me clear as day during Randy Orton's entrance, giving the rock fist with my brother Renegade and his wife.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Am I the only person who loves the Bad News gimmick?

    ReplyDelete
  50. If I'm not working I might do a drinking game for the Raw after WM where I drink every time the crowd chants something that has nothing to do with whatever is going on in the ring. Or I can just gun a 12 pack during hour 1 and pass out, because it will be pretty much the same thing.

    ReplyDelete
  51. You're saying it should be a good time.

    ReplyDelete
  52. "Excuse me! EXCUSE ME!! I SAID EXCUSE ME!!!!"

    ReplyDelete
  53. I've seen it, not really a fan.

    ReplyDelete
  54. mmmm, more like watching a science experiment with my arms folded and my chin resting on my arms looking intently at the screen kind of fascination.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Heck no -- I'm an unabashed fan of it and him.

    ReplyDelete
  56. I'm sure there's the potential for things to turn ugly on Monday...

I don't know, I guess I sound a little bit like Wade Barrett, but while initially it was funny to watch the crowd shit all over a show, it's not quite as funny for me anymore. Maybe because I can empathize with the wrestlers going out there and busting their ass to have the crowd completely either not care or chant weird, random things, it kind of seems like a slap in the face. Why would I go out there and risk my health only to have a crowd chant "Randy Savage" or "JBL" or something like that.

They would be smart to make this the "smarkiest" show they possibly can because that's the only shot they have to keep the crowd from just overwhelming the show.

    ReplyDelete
  57. The biggest offense is the title match. If the belt was off orton and this was just another match than fine, who cares, but as the title match it makes this mania feel it sucks when rightfully it might not

    ReplyDelete
  58. You're saying you're a wrestling nerd.

    ReplyDelete
  59. I can appreciate your perspective; it makes sense. But, how else are they supposed to express themselves and their displeasure with the product? They could not buy tickets, but then those same guys wouldn't have a source of income.

    ReplyDelete
  60. I thought this would be the one place where I wouldn't have to say it ;)

    ReplyDelete
  61. I'm actually on camera for pretty much all of N2R99. I won't bother pointing out which one is me, I don't look anything like I did when I was 17, and I'm sure no one cares anyway.

    ReplyDelete
  62. Honestly I have no idea what the solution is, I guess the thing that irritates me the most are the random chants during matches. The crowd booing Batista, I'm ok with that, it's the WWE's fault they've taken this long to realize that Batista is not a face in this environment, but I guess I long for the days where we had "normal" crowd reactions so we can just enjoy the show, ya know?

    ReplyDelete
  63. At the rate this is going, it wouldn't surprise me to see at least one wrestler walk out during a random chant. It would make for an interesting heel turn / plot point.

    ReplyDelete
  64. I understand. I long for the days when they actually seemed to care about what their audience wanted. And, I don't think the crowd has actively shit on each match. It wasn't bad at the Rumble until they figured out there'd be no DBry in that match. And, they only seem to chant randomly during matches when they aren't entertained, and the company is partly to blame for that.

But...Chicago may be different. It's likely going to be a Smark crowd in Punk's hometown. Could be really ugly.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Yeah, they wouldn't give the title to a guy with three months left in his deal, so he would have a new contract if it went down.

Why not just do the idea I had? Triple H makes a stipulation that if he wins, Bryan is gone from WWE forever. If Bryan wins, he will be entered into the main event of Wrestlemania XXX.

The match opens Wrestlemania, and Triple H is surprised by a LaBelle Lock and taps....in just under 18 seconds. The image of Triple H holding his arm to his chest while pounding his fist on the ground in anger is just glorious.

In the Main Event, Bryan hits the running knee on Batista while Batista holds up Orton for the Demon Bomb...and proceeds to make Orton tap to end Wrestlemania XXX with Daniel Bryan as champion. It redeems everything, and it can end like Wrestlemania X (with Owen) where everyone celebrates with Bryan in the ring.

Hell, for bonus points, have a CM Punk face run-in during the main event of Wrestlemania, and then turn Punk heel the next night on Bryan, completely destroying him and laying down the mother of all pipebombs, F-Bombing everyone and declaring himself the number one contender. He could just mock the people for saying Yes, calling them sheep and such.

    ReplyDelete
  66. davidbonzaisaldanamontgomeryFebruary 26, 2014 at 10:42 PM

With a rebel yell, we cried YES! YES! YES!

    ReplyDelete
  67. If Punk isn't appearing then they should have someone on the roster do what Shawn Michaels used to do during shows in Canada (to play up the You screwed Bret thing) and turn full heel on the crowd for one night, even going as far as to mention Punk taking his ball and going home to really get the crowd going.

    ReplyDelete
  68. I totally agree with you as 90% of this is on the bookers, but that disdain for the bookers is cascading down to the wrestlers who generally have no say in how they're booked....just seems really unfair to them. Hopefully the WWE starts actually listening to the fans so we can have normal reactions again.

    ReplyDelete
  69. There's always the possibility that Punk has already signed an extension or new contract already yet claiming otherwise to keep up the ruse. People are crazy if they think Punk hadn't already resigned long before MITB 2011 even though he kayfabes that he signed that night before going out for his match.

    ReplyDelete
  70. TJ: Fucking Avalanche, I know if I would have stayed at the bar for the 3rd period they would have won. God dammit...

    ReplyDelete
  71. Asshole smarks will be assholes no matter booking quality.

    ReplyDelete
  72. The only response a wrestler can have is to take it as a challenge to avoid it.

    ReplyDelete
  73. That would be an excellent idea to not only turn it into an angle, but subliminally let the fans know, quit trying to sabotage the show.

    ReplyDelete
  74. Oh they lied to you: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n-wUdetAAlY

    ReplyDelete
  75. Yeah, but we're talking about more than just asshole smarks.

    ReplyDelete
  76. Yeah, and it's one thing to be an asshole smark here (fuck, this site is almost nothing but asshole smarks, basically the reason it exists to begin with), but to highjack a show is just being a dick. Of course, Raw isn't an indy show, when 17,000 people or so highjack it it's not just smarks. It's because it sucks.

    ReplyDelete
  77. Have Batista or Triple H turn full heel on the crowd just like Shawn Michaels would do when RAW was in Canada to try to deflect the heat away from Punk and onto him. Go as far as to mention CM Punk taking his ball and going home like a puss to really get them going. They should embrace it because if Punk comes back down the road it helps build up critical mass, and if Punk doesn't come back it makes it seem like Punk is the whiner that quit. This could be Shawn-Bret 2.

    ReplyDelete
  78. In all seriousness, though, how about Cena/Lesnar in Chicago? I dare say most of that crowd got behind Cena by the end.

    ReplyDelete
  79. But see here's the thing. It's not the entire crowd with these inane chants, it's a minority, but a vocal minority, and when WWE throws out ADR vs Kofi Kingston for the 9,238th time, the marks join in because they're bored/think it's cool to chant along with the others.

Like I said before, most of the blame resides with the WWE for not making their shows better/listening to the fans, but IMO, it just gets tiresome after awhile, and downright wrong when there's actually a good match in the ring.

    ReplyDelete
  80. Interesting point, which would probably work in a lot of cities, but I"m not sure it would work into Chicago, it would turn the crowd in a REALLY ugly mood, and then we'd guarantee random chants all night long.

    ReplyDelete
  81. But there's no running from it, so why not embrace it just a fiercely. A crowd that hopped up could really help build a new star, be it a face or a heel if its played right.

    ReplyDelete
  82. Well, then stop showing ADR vs Kofi Kingston for the 9,238th time. It's like the Styles/Daniels match at Destination X 2012, amazing match, but the crowd was dead fucking silent for the entire match, because it's been done so many times before. At least with that there's history between the 2, WWE throws guys on constantly because they're either too lazy or too stupid to come up with a decent angle for more than 6 people (and "decent" is being generous here) at a time.

It's not a coincidence that this sort of thing doesn't happen when the product is, you know... not totally shitty. And WWE trying (and really succeeding, in my eyes) to be "entertainment" instead of wrestling isn't helping either. Would would the marks care that the match itself is any good when the company doesn't promote or even really acknowledge good matches?

    ReplyDelete
  83. davidbonzaisaldanamontgomeryFebruary 26, 2014 at 11:53 PM

Even shitty PPVs are fun live (how much fun usually involves alcohol); I remember having a decent time at Judgment Day 2004 despite how god-awful it was. But beer + near-ringside seats (close enough to see Eddie's blood all over the guardrail after his infamous blade job) made it go down easy. Plus, you'll be part of what will probably be a fantastic crowd.

    ReplyDelete
  84. davidbonzaisaldanamontgomeryFebruary 26, 2014 at 11:54 PM

Instead of Orton/Batista at WM XXX, they should just show the Vin Diesel movie xXx.

    ReplyDelete
  85. davidbonzaisaldanamontgomeryFebruary 26, 2014 at 11:56 PM

And at EC, the crowd was red-hot for Shield/Wyatt, because THAT'S WHAT THEY WANTED.

    ReplyDelete
  86. "You want CM Punk? Well guess what? He ain't here. He took his ball and went home. He's a quitter. He's the perfect representative for this cesspool Chicago. Just like all of you, Punk is a loooooser. Just like you, he's a quitter. Just like you, he'll never be able to reach the top of this business. And when I'm main eventing wrestlemania and you're not, I want you all to look in the mirror and see yourselves for the worthless Illinois idiots you are. Just like your hero CM Punk. See you at Wrestlemania. Hit my music."

    ReplyDelete
  87. I love his delivery of the line. He sounds like he revels in delivery terrible news. He should work at a hospital.

    ReplyDelete
  88. I dunno, I think the card looks alright. How cool will it be to watch Daniel Bryan kick the shit out of Triple H with the crowd chanting yes? I'm also looking forward to Brock vs Taker, seeing a legit tough guy against 'the dead man' should be great. Cena vs Wyatt should be decent. Batista vs Orton though...I'm not sure what they are thinking leaving that match...

I do think it would be cool though, If the crowd shits all over the match and chant 'yes' or 'Daniel Bryan' the whole match, if Vince makes a surprise appearance admitting he has got it wrong after hearing the crowd reaction, then setting an impromptu match with Daniel Bryan vs the winner straight after

    ReplyDelete
  89. As long as it's the Rifftrax version because that's the only thing that makes the movie watchable.

    ReplyDelete
  90. It' starting to remind me about the dream Lisa Simpson had about being in the second best band "Why would they come just to book us?" If people want to pay to shit on a show that's up to them, personally I'm just watching stuff that interests me on Youtube, reading recaps and avoiding doing anythinp to give them more of my time and money.

    ReplyDelete
  91. THIS. A thousand times, this. We all know that Monday's going to be a trainwreck, there's no reason not to just embrace the chaos that will surely ensue. Why not turn it back on the crowd? If I were booking, I'd send D-Bry and Cesaro out there for 20+ minutes in a technical masterpiece JUST to fuck with the smarks before Batista runs in, bombs them both, and delivers the aforementioned promo. It would make ECW crowds look like a women's book club. No disrespect to ECW crowds - I'm sure that it would be a book club reading Chuck Palahniuk, but a book club nonetheless. I seriously think we could have our first riot in WWE history.

    ReplyDelete
  92. Worst comes to the worst just make it the Daniel Bryan show. Just have him do a promo, run a gauntlet of matches, backstage stuff, SHIELD/Wyatts, Brock/Taker to split things up. Although it is sad the only solution I can think of doesn't involve either contender for the title.

    ReplyDelete
  93. Why isn't the title of this "Farva gets Buried"?

    ReplyDelete
  94. Daniel Bryan wasn't advertised for The Rumble, said he wasn't in The Rumble on the previous Raw, and suffered a storyline concussion in an earlier.

I mean... what did the fans expect?

    ReplyDelete
  95. 1) CM Punk leaves because he's disgruntled.
    2) Fans cheer for CM Punk.
    3) ?

I'm not sure what the end game is. He chose to leave. The WWE didn't fire him. So the WWE isn't the one who decides if he comes back. That's Punk. If Punk wants to come back, he'll come back. Hijacking a show makes no sense, because the WWE is powerless here.

Heck, by all accounts Vince let Punk go. Not out of 'I hate you' more out of 'well, shit... you're not going to do a U-turn immediately' necessity. The ball is in Punk's court, making the chants more idiotic than 'MAKE DANIEL BRYAN FULL-TIME CHANT FOREVER' ones are.

    ReplyDelete
  96. Like, say, Wade Barrett?

    'I HAVE SOME BAD NEWS!'

    ReplyDelete
  97. If Bryan is going to beat HHH, neither agains anything by a quick victory. You need to have Bryan win a tough, even match, to make it seem impossible he could win later on. Then if he wins the Main, it means more.

Squashing HHH doesn't pay-off the DB story. HHH has noted Bryan's damn good, he just doesn't think he's best for business. Beating HHH in a competitive match shows HHH that DB is a major played.

    ReplyDelete
  98. Right there with you. But clearly, they were out of fucks to give.

    ReplyDelete
  99. Because we love Punk and we want to show our support for him.

Why is this a hard concept for people to grasp?

    ReplyDelete
  100. ARRRRGH THE BARBARIANFebruary 27, 2014 at 1:52 AM

The end game is that they are going to deal with angry crowds for a long time because the crowds have figured out to play along. It tickets people off, no one knows how to improvise, Batista tells you to fuck off and suck his dick, and it's fun too!

    It's basically the new "WHAT!?"

    ReplyDelete
  101. Amsterdam_Adam_CurryFebruary 27, 2014 at 1:54 AM

I don't really love him. He's a great worker in every sense of the word, but he also seems like the type of guy I'd want to punch in the face within 5 minutes of meeting him.

    ReplyDelete
  102. A couple of things.

    - If you want to support CM Punk, do something that actually matters. Don't give WWE money or more TV viewers or anything. That sends a message eleventy billion times louder than any chant. People can chant whatever they want, what does WWE care? They're still getting their ticket money, merch money, NETWORK MONEY, etc. If I were a higher up at WWE, I'd just laugh and say "Yeah. You guys..you guys just keep on chanting."

    - Why do people love CM Punk so much? CM Punk doesn't love you. I can 99.9% guarantee you that he doesn't even like you just a little bit. Fans are an annoyance to him. So what does that leave in terms of why he is so popular? That he's good at his job? So what? That's what he's supposed to do. He's like the one hotshot guy in every office that's really good at his job but is a total dickwad to everyone because he thinks he's the hot shit. Fuck CM Punk. He's an asshole.

    ReplyDelete
  103. Tickets for the show went on sale, what? A year ago nearly, when Punk was still on the roster and no one assumed he would be walking out anytime soon.

    ReplyDelete
  104. ARRRRGH THE BARBARIANFebruary 27, 2014 at 2:18 AM

The majority of these guys are assholes and the ones that aren't are either playing a character outside the ropes, or are marks. You don't move up in the wrestling business by being a "good guy". Punk is exactly what he's been advertised as all the way back to ROH

    ReplyDelete
  105. Yo we're not killing Badger, yo.

    ReplyDelete
  106. Your first sentence is why, the company doesn't listen to the fans anymore.

    ReplyDelete
  107. What I'm hoping for is during the opening segment "Cult of Personality" hits, the crowd goes completely apeshit and then Wade Barrett comes out to give them the bad news that this is the last time they'll ever hear it.

    ReplyDelete
  108. I don't spend money on anything. Last time I spent money on WWE was last August at Summerslam which I in no way resent.

And we love CM Punk because he's incredible? Why do people love assholes like John Lennon or Robert Downey Jr.? Because they're great at their job.

And how do you know Punk's a dick? What has he done to you? And your statement about fans isn't even true, he doesn't like being harassed, but he's never said he doesn't appreciate the support or even the acknowledgement. It's just when he's obviously doing something else he doesn't want to be interrupted.

    ReplyDelete
  109. Some of my best friends are quite punchable, I probably inspire the punching desire in most people I meet.

And I'd like to add that just because somebody is a prick doesn't mean they're a bad person.

But the main point is this. Punk is the coolest motherfucker on the roster. Bryan's got an endearing dorkiness to him, but Punk is my generation's Rock (in terms of being cool). Cool people don't have to be nice, they're cool, that supersedes everything else.

    ReplyDelete
  110. Surely they can't leave that title match as it is. It's going to feature the biggest crowd hijacking in WWE history, way bigger than Lesnar/Goldberg or Orton/Sheamus.

How many chants can the crowd get through?
    -CM Punk
    -Daniel Bryan
    -JBL
    -Randy Savage
    -Bootista
    -RVD
    -Y2J
    -You Both Suck
    -Fandangoing

    Any more?

    ReplyDelete
  111. I hate those people. That being said, that show makes season 4 of The Wire look like the final season of Dexter. It really is that good.

    ReplyDelete
  112. This is awful!
    We are awesome!
    End this match!
    TNA TNA TNA!
    We want Lesnar!
    We want refund!

    ReplyDelete
  113. I think "bored" is the keyword here. All the fans pick up on the booking being uninspired and react accordingly. For a company that prides itself on "entertainment", they seem to be doing a terrible job keeping the fan base entertained. I also firmly believe that show-hijacking has a shelf life. If the WWE continues to run the show this way then its not hard to imagine a decrease in show attendance.

As for CM Punk none of us truly know what made him decide to walk out but it's not a stretch to think it had to do with his spot in the company. He had the biggest wrestling angle since the attitude era in 2011 and somehow it ended up being a story about HHH being a bad GM. Even when he had the year long title reign he was always taking a backseat to whatever Cena was doing. Leading up to WM 30, he's looking at Batista and Orton with the leading spots. in 2014 they were laying the groundwork to rehash the exact same angle with Punk and HHH going into WM. Maybe he got tired of going through the motions. I can't really blame him.

    ReplyDelete
  114. 3) is profit. It is ALWAYS profit.

    ReplyDelete
  115. I was there. SHE KEPT LICKING HER FINGERS. How could I not cheer??

    ReplyDelete
  116. Someone should come out to his music and in a hoodie pretending to be him like Punk did to Jeff Hardy. The heat would be NUCLEAR.

    ReplyDelete
  117. I just don't get what the attraction of Brock/Taker is. They had a Hell in a Cell blow off to their feud already. And Brock already lost to Cena and HHH twice. Does anyone really think he has a shot at winning?

    ReplyDelete
  118. Orton sucks... Batista ;-)

    ReplyDelete
  119. He no sold my question AND took a shot. Who is he, HHH?

    ReplyDelete
  120. So it turned out DAVE was wrong when he said they were doing some sort of Hunter vs Vince's avatar thing for control of the company. Oh wait, DAVE is never wrong, they changed their plans! Give me a break Jess!

    ReplyDelete
  121. The real absolute print money feud for after Wrestlemania is World Champ Bryan vs. freshly turned heel John Cena. Just bring a money printer to Stamford. I guarantee heel Cena merch would sell just as well if not better. Take it to the bank Jack.

    ReplyDelete
  122. His most laughable "report", Cena/Bray, turned out being correct tho.

    ReplyDelete
  123. At least you didn't get Stennicked.

    ReplyDelete
  124. "Hey Orton, how big is Batista's dick?"

    ReplyDelete
  125. Vince still has a month to get involved. I'm sure he won't... but don't rule it out either.

  126. Not that I have a horse in this race, but it's pretty clearly that they've gone through 30 or so plans since that came out. Punk left, Bryan spent a minute as a Wyatt, Batista became Bootista....

  127. I'd say considering he had the rest of the card correct (and even the match that was originally going to be for control of the company: Punk vs HHH), and the fact that Vince was advertised to return many times in local advertising but never did, it's safe to say that plans changed.

  128. We want Hart
    Chris Benoit

  129. Hes not as annoying

  130. Brock only lost to HHH once, though it was the highest profile being at WM

  131. The rest of it correct? He's predicted 12 different things!

  132. Going to a Mania live is on my bucket list just to be clear. I only like about half of the current product but that's not going to keep me from going.

And so far they've been treating some my favorite indy wrestlers good so technically they've been listening to me fine.

  133. "end this match!"

  134. He called Wyatt vs cena and ut vs brock

  135. This. I would otherwise like how this card is shaping up.

  136. Man, I really diaagree. You have huge potential money matches in Brock/Batista, Taker/Cena, Bryan/Orton or HHH, or Brock/Bryan. The Cena thing perplexes me also. Using your perceived #1 draw on Bray? It's something new so I'll give them that, it's just all so.odd to me

  137. I would seriously pay 14 dollars to sit in a meeting with Vince, Steph, H and creative just to hear their thoughts on this main event. Are they delusional and don't know what's going to happen? Do they have another plan in place, like inserting Bryan into the match when he beats H? Do they know what's going to happen and are just being spiteful?

Maybe they're just trying to get footage for the Self Destruction of Randy Orton and/or Bootista DVD.

  138. Bell rings, HHH escorts Steph out of the ring, gets a kiss from the apron, turns around, and eats a running knee. 1,2,3...and all the smarks were forever silenced.

    I crack myself up.

  139. It'll change before Mania, don't worry.

  140. It's absolutely pointless to turn Cena heel now.
