Oh, I agree. I think once they put the character away for good, they need to do something with Hunico. He's good at the lucha stuff, and he can actually wrestle, to boot.
Two months ago, we were talking the Shield breaking up with a possible three way match between them at WrestleMania with Reigns breaking out as the star. But here we are with the Shield as faces with Rollins really coming on strong. Was this path a good idea?
Anywhere I can find PPV cards that are spoiler free? Like Ive been going through old nwa wcw and have absolutely zero idea of results but if want to see the match list beforehand without results its hard to do, you know
They've done this for a few years now. They set up a breakup (Laycool, Kane Bryan, Shield) to happen at WM, then they bring in a last minute feud ( Trish Snookie, Ziggler Langston, Kane Outlaws) for WM, which leads to a postpone breakup for a few weeks or months.
Yep - whilst I loved there matches as heels I was never that invested in their characters. I'm digging them as truly bad ass and cool faces. That will make their eventual break up and feuds mean more further down the line.
I swear to God they were probably planning on a split, but then Reigns had a shitty match with Bray Wyatt and the team started getting great fan reactions due to having great matches as a GROUP, and so they probably just abruptly switched plans out of a panic. You'll notice they basically just scrambled a match together in the past few weeks for WrestleMania, like they had no plan until then or something.
Either way, I think this works better. Ambrose is a more natural heel, but letting Reigns & Rollins show off with crazy moves as a babyface squad is a good idea.
Not sure about the Raw the Monday before Mania IX, but I did notice there's like a one month gap between episode 30 and 31. I'm guessing two weeks for U.S. Open, 1 week because of SummerSlam (which used to be on Monday's) and 1 week for SummerSlam Spectacular, which I'm pretty sure is a special that aired in Raw's place.
Outlaws in suits, lol
ReplyDeleteOh how the mighty Ryback has fallen.
ReplyDeleteRollins as a face reminds me of a odd (but good) mixture of Punk and Jeff Hardy.
ReplyDeleteHe sucks, so I'm personally okay with that.
ReplyDeleteHey! People!
ReplyDeleteSaw the thread wasn't up and figured "what the hell".
I hated Mistico as Cara, but I really like Hunico
ReplyDeleteEvery time I hear Scooby Doo's voice, I'm going to flashback to Monday's Lesnar promo.
ReplyDeleteHunico is quite an improvement.
ReplyDeleteThanks Strange.
ReplyDeleteThat pin would have looked better if Sandow had actually struggled to get out.
ReplyDeleteBut the character is dead in the water. It's been 3 years and nobody cares.

ReplyDeleteHanging with Big Show will be Bray's real test.

ReplyDeleteThankya!
ReplyDeleteI may be interested in watching that Jim Henson Creature Shop Challenge.
ReplyDeleteAnything worth watching?
ReplyDeleteWyatt's the man. I wonder about his mom, cause he sure didn't get his charisma from his dad.
ReplyDeleteHHH's friends facing each other.
ReplyDeleteMSG looks jammed to the rafters for this show.
ReplyDeleteTitle match time. I'm nervous for Bruno.
ReplyDeleteIs the card any good tonight?
ReplyDeleteNo. Atrocious.
ReplyDeleteBut, are they literally hanging from the rafters?
ReplyDeleteRandy Savage, Daniel Bryan, Let's go Wyatt, were the sound guys asleep at the wheel or something?
ReplyDelete9 matches? Very rare.
ReplyDeleteSmackdown extends its auto-pilot streak to 423021 shows in a row.

ReplyDeleteI haven't watched a full episode of Smackdown in years. Have I missed anything?
ReplyDeleteBatista vs Sheamus first time ever thrown out there with zero promotion or pomp. It's absurd.
ReplyDeleteYea. They still have lots they can do as a group. I think keeping them together was the right move

ReplyDeleteClick the "Card" tab when you find a show you want to read about.
Or card with guide to see the matches most worth watching.
ReplyDeleteI'd like to see another run with the Wyatts for starters.

ReplyDeleteDeal with it!
ReplyDeleteReplace "Smackdown" with "Murder, She Wrote" and you'd get the same answer.

No conclusive winner though.

ReplyDeleteFair enough, but how many genuine first time ever match-up's even exist at this stage? Let alone one between 2 multiple time WWE world champs?
