Hey Scott, long time follower, first time sender. I was wondering if you would showcase this currently selling "Welcome to the BoD" T-Shirt based on the poster Abeyance1.
Thanks a lot and keep up the good work.
Sure, although it kind of loses something without the proper capitalization on the shirt.
Where's my shirt? What about me? What about Raven?
ReplyDeleteMeh. 1/2* I don't feel like it captures the look or spirit of the Blog of Doom.
ReplyDeleteThis right here deserves a hot poker up the ass rating scale. Suggestions?
ReplyDeleteHuh, well I guess it worked.
ReplyDeleteDock, how is Shelton performing in Japan? He's got crazy athleticism but is he a star there? Can he be? Or is he just a pay check wrestler?
ReplyDeleteAll proceeds go to Parallax.
ReplyDeleteI just got paid $7500 working off my computer this month. And if you think that's cool, my friend has twin toddlers and made over $8k her first month. It feels so good making so much money when other people have to work for so much less. This is what I do.....

Sip piss
ReplyDeleteHe's doing about as well as he did in the states. Problem is of course he still has no character or ring presence. But that's just MODO.
ReplyDeleteWeird that there are zero pre orders.
ReplyDeleteThat's too bad. He has all the physical tools but he just coasts. Maybe he doesn't have the desire to put in that extra work to be a top guy.
ReplyDeleteI can't imagine anyone here would want this.
ReplyDeleteLOL at you pretending it wasn't you
ReplyDeleteHe has athleticism and a good look, but not a star their at all. He's basically the Frankie Kazarian of his tag team with Suzuki.
ReplyDeleteHe's still the same guy that frustrates the hell out of ya because he just can't get over the hump. He's having decent RAW matches on the lower card, basically. He's pretty far down on the bottom of the depth chart, but he is 4-0 and leading the whole tournament so far, which means NOTHING really, and pretty much indicates he's gonna lose 5 in a row.
Other Americans so far: Styles, looking like the BITW, show after show. Anderson, steady as hell and a guy you can stick in the main event picture anytime you want. Lance Archer (Hoyt), really showing promise once again as a guy who has something there, and could possibly be a singles star in the future. Davey Boy Smith Jr., it's just not clicking for him, see Shelton. Doc Gallows, worse than that, has a couple tools but seems to be locked in as a lowcarder for life. And finally Bad Luck Fale, who used to train in Davey Richards camp out in St. Louis, worth of the big push he's getting this year, as he makes up for what he lacks in athleticism and smoothness with very good poise and facials and timing.
I mean, if you would've put a picture of Caliber on it with the phrase "MONEY LEFT ON THE TABLE" beneath it, I might've parted with, like, five or six bucks. But this? You'd probably have to pay me two dollars to wear it, and even then, I'd still only be three or four dollars ahead so I'm not sure if I could agree to any of this. You'd have to offer me a second shirt, for free, so I could piss on a homeless man and force him to give me three dollars of his tin can money to compensate, that way I'd end up where I started -- with ten dollars.
ReplyDeleteStart working at home with Google: I make $63 /hr on internet . I has been without a job for nine months but last month my pay was $10500 just working on the laptop for a few hours.........;

Best suggestion yet.
ReplyDeleteWow, the things people try to do for a quick buck.
ReplyDeleteWell, he can't make a quick buck if he doesn't sell any.
ReplyDeleteLOL at the spambots attacking this post twice.
ReplyDeletesixdollarshirts.com would come up with something better.
ReplyDeleteLike you know, "Let's play it out and see where it goes" or "LOLCenaWins!"
I heard "Welcome to the Bod" was what Jesse Ventura used to say to ring rats back in the day.
ReplyDeleteYou should make a " I'm a Brian Bayless Guy" shirt. It's perfect if you want to make no money
ReplyDeleteI want to see better confirmation of the story, but if true, TNA is in a lot of trouble. With the WWE getting less in Network rights fees than they thought and Spike supposedly not wanting to renew one of its higher rated shows, this illustrates how dead cold the wrestling business is right now.
ReplyDeleteEVERYTHING IS FINE. There, saved you all the trouble.
ReplyDelete@JRsBBQ: This could well be a blockbuster week in the wrestling business....@WWE financials....@SpikeTV @IMPACTWRESTLING relationship..stay tuned.
ReplyDeleteReminds me of the show Empty Nest when the horn dog got a license plate that he wanted to say C. LOVER but ended up with CLOVER.
ReplyDeleteNot believing anything until Dave Scherer reports it.
ReplyDeleteI hope you have an Elite membership to hear all about it.
ReplyDeleteB-b-but Tommy Dreamer said the Manhattan Center tapings turned the corner!
ReplyDeleteGood riddance.
ReplyDeleteWrestling is ice cold right now
ReplyDeleteKramer: Jerry, buddy, I got to tell you something. EVERYTHING IS FINE is played.
ReplyDeleteJerry: Really?
Kramer: So played!
it may be higher rated but how much does it cost.
ReplyDeleteExample: Bar Rescue might generate the same amount of money per hour of content versus expenses but they rerun that show over and over again. wrestling show can only be shown basically once or twice ever (except for things like the wwe network obviously).

ReplyDeleteCooler than being cool!
ReplyDeleteIt is official...
ReplyDeleteThey should have used an 8-sided ring..
ReplyDeleteJack Nicholson warned them...
ReplyDeleteTo quote one of my favorite movies, "They're under the goddamned ground."
ReplyDeleteThat's pretty much official in my eyes. Goodbye TNA.
ReplyDeleteALL RIGHT ALL RIGHT ALL RIGHT ALL RIGHT
ReplyDeleteHey, gotta keep some time of kayfabe.
ReplyDeleteNO MORE STINKING PLAYPEN RINGS BROTHER, NOW WE'RE TAKING YOU ALL TO THE TOP
ReplyDeleteFunny how TNN/Spike might have delivered the death blow to two wrestling promotions: ECW and now TNA. Any other networks possibly take TNA?
ReplyDeleteAt least now Mike Tenay will have more time to devote to his first love: sexy funk.
ReplyDeletetna needs glacier to make it hot again
ReplyDeleteWhelp....HERE COMES THE PAIN
ReplyDeleteAll because they wanted to keep VINCE FUCKING RUSSO on the payroll.
ReplyDeleteWhat is Dixie's infatuation with the guy? She's re-hired him so many times despite what a detriment he is. She deserves all of this for running business so poorly.
He should make a "That Poor Dog" T-Shirt.
ReplyDeleteWhy do IDIOTS have to running wrestling companies in this day and age? We have delusional Vince and Kevin Dunn on one side and Dixie Carter on the other.
ReplyDeleteAnd so, after so long waiting, "The Rise and Fall of TNA" is finally being prepared for 2015 release.
ReplyDeleteEstimated sale price? I say $250-500K.
ReplyDeleteMaybe he gives great oral
ReplyDeleteOr "Everything is Fine!"
ReplyDeleteHey! I found the ass end.
ReplyDeleteFrom JR's twitter: “This could well be a blockbuster week in the wrestling business….@WWE financials….@SpikeTV @IMPACTWRESTLING relationship..stay tuned.”
ReplyDeleteno
ReplyDeleteTo quote another of my favorite movies, they ain't leadin' but two things, right now Jack and shit. And Jack left town.
ReplyDeleteI bet Papa Carter feels pretty stupid now about the whole "We'll sell the company, but only if Dixie is still running things!" failure.
ReplyDeleteI guess Dixie will finally realize that her company is not worth the same as WWE.
ReplyDeleteYou sure you didn't read that wrong like WCW1987 did?
ReplyDeleteWhat's cooler than cool? ICE COLD.
ReplyDeleteAllrightallrightallrightallrightallrightallrightallright!
IT'S JUST MELTZER BULLSHIT
ReplyDeleteReal talk: Cops reruns basically killed the promotion. That's clearly where the money is for Spike.
ReplyDeleteFor whatever reason, Dixie must've been convinced that Russo knew what he was doing despite his writing doing nothing to grow the product.
ReplyDeleteTHAT WAS MY JOKE! GIMMICK INFRINGEMENT, I CALL GIMMICK INFRINGEMENT
ReplyDeleteI think Mark Cuban is a popular fan dream for a promoter nowadays. He certainly has the pockets and enthusiasm for it.
ReplyDeleteHe is the King of swerves....
ReplyDeleteWell, I do watch COPS more than TNA on Spike, so.....
ReplyDeleteBeat me to it.
ReplyDeleteTo be fair, Cops is higher quality TV. If they could someone partner it with "Springfield Cops", they'd be set.
ReplyDeleteBAD COPS BAD COPS
They're moving to another network. No biggy.
ReplyDeleteYeah. Running a COPS episode might not get as good ratings, but it costs Spike a fraction of the price to run that and therefore probably makes more money off it.
ReplyDeleteWhat network? CMT?!?!
ReplyDeleteWhich one though? Who else would even want TNA at this point?
ReplyDeleteI hope the WWE doesn't have it's head up it's ass like it did after WCW folded. I know there's a budget issue, but the WWE desperately needs some new blood to liven things up and get people interested again. Hire Bubba Ray, Storm, Roode, Samoa Joe, Aries, Gail Kim, Angle. Put Taz on the announce table. I'm pretty sure most of them would come over for cheap.. anything is better than TNA or the indies.
ReplyDeleteMake some dream matches to get some new subscribers and let the stock bounce back..
So what is valuable in the TNA video library: Sting matches? Kurt Angle matches? Jeff Hardy Matches? Completes cm punk dvd? The sort of Rise and long long long Fall of TNA?
ReplyDeleteI'd give him the ball and let him run with it.
ReplyDeleteSeriously? Look at the ratings and mostly empty arenas, you think they're going to latch onto a new network soon?
ReplyDelete2004-06 X Division deserves a DVD of its own. If nothing else, be nice to have a full Angle library.
ReplyDeleteFXX is my wager.
ReplyDeletePlus, they could use some guys in NXT, and move the NXT veterans up a roster.
ReplyDeleteEspecially considering Spike took TNA with pipe dreams that it could compete with WWE, and it most certainly could not. Not many networks would be terribly excited to pick up a product as niche as can be.
ReplyDeleteAlmost every time TNA starts to turn a corner she just mucks it up with Russo. Back in late 2006, TNA just wrapped up a great blowoff show with Bound For Glory, and then what did they do the next day? Hire Russo.
ReplyDeleteThe next Impact had the reverse battle royal and they became a laughinstock from that point forward. It's funny, because as an angsty teenager I blindly defended them because WWE needed some alternative, even though it was obvious they were awful. Then they started getting really good again in late 2009, again putting up great stuff around Bound For Glory...and then they decided to have a WCW retirement home bash.
I wonder if there's any value in buying it and running it as a quasi-separate promotion on the Network.
ReplyDeleteWas there ever really a "rise" for TNA?
ReplyDeleteAries and Roode I could actually see in upper WWE, both great on the mic and the ring and be nice if they do more with Joe than TNA has lately.
ReplyDeleteWe need the moment where he head butted Joe.
ReplyDeleteThey've made it pretty clear on two occasions that they see nothing of value in Gail Kim.
ReplyDeleteYeah, when it rose above 1.1, brother!
ReplyDeleteWWE couldn't pull off a separate WCW or ECW. TNA has far less fans than either of those companies.
ReplyDeleteJeff Hardy and Kurt Angle making triumphant returns to WWE (assuming they pass physicals) is the only silver lining I can see here.
ReplyDeleteRusso might have purposely sabotaged TNA purposely with the email he accidentally CC'ed Johnson
ReplyDeleteHow many of those guys are going to work for what they would get from WWE? Really, the one people who would get paid would be Bully Ray, Hardy and Angle. Everyone else would have to pay their dues.
ReplyDeleteYou mean kinda how they've done with NXT?
ReplyDeleteHasn't HHH been a big Roode supporter? I could see him coming in and potentially bypassing the NXT brainwashing process.
ReplyDeleteNope.. Be much easier to add the roster to NXT..
ReplyDeleteTo quote Scott on Hogan, "He ruined it all."
ReplyDeleteWhat channel would want TNA? Fox sports is already been there did that. CBS or NBC sports channels? The FX networks would be a no because they have better content now. Turner networks would be a no because they have better content now.
ReplyDeletePossibly, but the Network just needs different streams of content. I think they couldn't make it work/probably wouldn't be profitable, but it'd at least add another silver lining of programming.
ReplyDeleteOkay now ladies!
ReplyDeleteYEAH!
No on the sports channels, because those two (esp. NBCSN) want to be serious alternatives to ESPN, and TNA wouldn't aid that in the least (or pro wrestling in general)
ReplyDeleteThey have 3 months to find a new network. They will be fine. People are wayyyyy over reacting.
ReplyDeleteSo, how much will my 15 TNA DVDs be worth?
ReplyDeleteI don't even know.
ReplyDeleteIf Spike doesn't want wrestling, who does?
About as much as TNA, at this point.
ReplyDeleteUsing the GameStop sliding scale, about 89 cents.
ReplyDeleteEven with one being autographed by Rhyno himself?
ReplyDelete15 dollars?
ReplyDeleteIf he's clean they'll def. take Jeff back, I think. And it won't be good for Bryan, not one bit.
ReplyDeleteWell....in that case.......
ReplyDelete79 cents.
Ok, then 98 cents.
ReplyDeleteIt's funny how they gradually rose from 2005-07 and then basically stayed at 1.1 for the next seven years.
ReplyDeleteFine $1.12
ReplyDeleteReggie LeDoux...all right all right all right!
ReplyDeleteAlright, progress.
ReplyDeleteEh, Jeff will probably have some ridiculous demand like them promoting his shit music.
ReplyDeleteWell they did in terms of quality. That doesn't mean Spike TV gives a shit.
ReplyDeleteDoes it come with a piece of that pot he smashed in that hotel during Wrestlemania weekend?
ReplyDeleteThe time to take Jeff back would have been for a grand revenge tour against CM Punk, but that ship has clearly sailed.
ReplyDeleteKurt Angle coming back as the conquering hero against Rusev, though? That's got money written all over it, assuming Kurt can still go.
Oh wait, you were being sarcastic. How did I fall for that
ReplyDeleteI'm sure they could crank a few DVD's out, but the product itself has zero value. This is gonna be a bloodbath.
ReplyDeleteUnless they're part-time, I could see both of them falling off the drug wagon again in short order.
ReplyDeleteSo what will spike get to replace TNA: More Jon Taffer? More food shows? More rescue shows? More bellator? More tattoo shows?
ReplyDeleteSpike did this to make room for GWF....
ReplyDeleteNo, just an autographed copy of Hardcore Justice.
ReplyDeleteI actually agree with you in principle. They could take the same amount Spike was paying and run TNA exclusively on the Network. I'd even have a few WWE/NXT stars show up occasionally.
ReplyDeleteI'm just saying that from Vince's perspective, it's easier to add the roster to NXT and have complete control over their styles and roster.
Don't care how many moth balls you had to dig through, this reference was worth it.
ReplyDeleteJarrett is not allowed to go there
ReplyDeleteSimple, more COPS, lots and lots of COPS.
ReplyDeleteCops reruns, bay-bay!
ReplyDeleteThen it's worth less than 89 cents.
ReplyDeleteThe piece of the pot was crucial.
1001 Ways to Die, now with new ways to die!
ReplyDeleteMore reality shows: cheap to produce and re-run, equal to higher ratings than TNA. They could pretty much slot anything in there.
ReplyDeleteHOT COPS, WE'LL CLEAN UP THE TOWN!
ReplyDelete"no one can defeat Lesnar after 6 months of him being champ; we need someone who has defeated him before; we need an olympic gold medalist" cue kurt angle's music
ReplyDeleteDixie is going to tweet any minute that she left Spike to start the TNA Network!
ReplyDeleteKurt can go, but he also is a ticking time bomb in the ring.
ReplyDeleteEat a pallet of dicks
ReplyDelete"Why are you so sweaty?"
ReplyDelete"I was watching Cops."
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! NOT PLAN B!!!!!
ReplyDelete- Zack Ryder
Scott has a better chance of starting the BoD Network
ReplyDeleteThis is so fitting for TNA.
ReplyDeleteHonestly, it goes out with a whimper, unlike WCW, which got an episode of Raw dedicated to it during the go home show of quite possibly the best Wrestlemania ever.
Is TNA going to be one of those things that died?
ReplyDeleteA company with so much buzz, you got it's initials wrong
ReplyDeleteId order it...
ReplyDeleteHeck, renew 1000. They still have 800 more deaths to go through.
ReplyDeleteWe can talk about guys that WWE could potentially pick up, but we definitely know who they WON'T be bothering with.
ReplyDeleteRIP Ken Anderson's career
Can't they just try to find another network, though?
ReplyDeleteNo, this is a biggy.
ReplyDeleteAnd good riddance
ReplyDeleteThey can try, but the consensus is that no one will probably take them.
ReplyDeleteEh, it's not like he was a major loss to begin with.
ReplyDeleteI think we're overlooking the real victims here. The menagerie are going to have all their carnival equipment repossesed.
ReplyDeleteHDNET!
ReplyDeleteEvery episode of TNA was considered a Go Home Episode....
ReplyDelete2002 called. They want WCW back.
ReplyDeleteIs everything still fine?
ReplyDeleteLike what? Esquire? FXX? They have ALL THE SIMPSONS!
ReplyDeleteOh crap, they can't get the money anymore.
ReplyDeleteThank goodness they have all that money from the BaseBrawl show ticket sales to keep them afloat!
ReplyDeleteUh... nevermind.
CMT is a good spot and I can even see Directv taking them...
ReplyDeleteAnd even if they find one, it will be (presumably) smaller then Spike.
ReplyDeleteMost shows that move networks after a cancellation don't have much left in the tank. you can only cheat death for so long
TNA's death follows what I always like to tell my students: The ultimate lesson of history is that people never learn from history.
ReplyDeleteDidn't Spike fund a lot of their stuff though? It isn't like they are a self sufficient company that just needs a time slot.
ReplyDelete:smiles:
ReplyDeleteYes!
:turns around sobbing:
Dear Dixie: Congratulations princess! Next time just admit you have no fucking idea what you're doing right out the gate and save us all the trouble.
ReplyDeleteDear Joe: TAKE THE GIMMICK. I DON'T CARE WHAT IT IS JUST TAKE IT.
topic is trending on twitter
ReplyDeleteAJ Styles is sitting over at IWGP as their champ laughing his ass off.
ReplyDeleteDixie is on the phone with the BET folks as we type...
ReplyDeleteFirst time TNA has ever trended on Twitter.
ReplyDeleteHey, that's a first.
ReplyDeleteTommy dreamer and upstart promotion = failure. This is sad actually.
ReplyDeletePart of the deal with him leaving TNA was that he not go to Spike.
ReplyDeleteNot trending on mine.
ReplyDeleteimpact will occasionally trend so this is is not a first
ReplyDeleteThats what brought me here actually.
ReplyDeleteDeadliest Warrior! Nothing like inaccurate brawls throughout history!
ReplyDeleteWCW1987 must be having a meltdown right now.
ReplyDeleteHa, true...
ReplyDeleteMan, he could have so much fun with this if he wanted at his next ROH match in August
ReplyDeleteAJ: laughs:
ReplyDelete" Phenomenal..."
What if they came to him....
ReplyDeleteI do freelance work for BET from time to time.. if they think those paychecks are late now...
ReplyDeleteIn all seriousness, there is a very, very real possibility that a lot of talented people are going to lose their jobs. That's a bummer.
ReplyDeleteThe fact that Russo is again out of a job with a wrestling company is not a bummer at all.
History major here
ReplyDeleteFuck that show
TNA's only hope is that Shane McMahon swoops in with some investors, cleans house, and revolutionizes the business. Which means...well, they are done for.
ReplyDeleteI know they put the belt on Lashley for a reason...
ReplyDeleteNext week on Impact: The TEAM CHALLENGE SERIES!
ReplyDeleteSamoa Joe, Davey Richards, Eddie Edwards, Austin Aries and Chris Sabin back in Ring of Honor?
ReplyDeleteWatch out for that company.
No he's not!
ReplyDeleteEVERYTHING IS FINE! He's already told us getting cancelled is "no biggie"
Dave on the LAW radio show tonight said that negotiations were going fine until the Russo deal broke, at which point it was all over. So in fact, Vince Russo killed TNA.
ReplyDelete#theleftovers
ReplyDeleteAnd Ziggler.
ReplyDeleteWith the way WWE is run right now, I can hilariously see them hiring him back and putting him on creative.
ReplyDeleteOne of the guys I feel saddest for is James Storm. He had a world title program literally written down letter-by-letter for this company and they decided to fuck up the surest thing possible and his career never recovered. Now he has nothing to show for anything. What a damn shame.
ReplyDeleteThey will land of a fucked up network like ECW used to be on.
ReplyDeletePlus what network is going to pump money in like Spike did? TNA is in some trouble here.
ReplyDelete
