I remember being so into Joe at this point. He, AJ, and Daniels (along with Raven to an extent) took the ball and ran with it from here trough the rest of 2005. Easily the best time in TNA history.
I'm not sure about fav Sabin match but it is a really good match. Sabin was great during that time, he had some real good matches with Petey Williams from that era as well if I remember right.
Even then the crummy matches were spotfests so it wasn't like you had to trudge through it.
ReplyDeleteExcept for Xavier. God, he was awful.
It's like TNA's version of Sting-Vader.
ReplyDeleteWhere IS Joe these days, anyway?
ReplyDeleteGot this on the AWESOME Samoa Joe 'Unstoppable' DVD. Still one of my most favorite wrestling DVDs ever.

ReplyDeleteA very good DVD the matches were obviously great and even his talking segments in between are worthwhile.
ReplyDeleteI've only been skimming headlines but I think he helped Daniel Bryan fend off those three black guys that tried to rob him.
ReplyDeleteThis is the Samoa Joe I'm fan.
ReplyDeleteYou could see how motivated he was back then.
ReplyDeleteTNA of Summer 05. This promotion would be ahead of WWE by now if only.
ReplyDeleteIs he still in TNA?
