Reasoning sounds good to me. Although if they do announce 750,000 tomorrow, there's gonna be way more than 10% of the office staff fired, I'd bet. If they were anywhere near 1,000,000 they would have already been shouting it from the rooftops instead of practically going on TV and begging people to subscribe.
On the other hand, at least they're not TNA.
If Titan Tower gets hit by a giant meteor tomorrow, and every McMahon and major company official perishes in the fiery explosion, does TNA have a chance as the new #1 wrestling company?

What are the odds WWE begins advertising discounted Network subscriptions with Live Event tickets? For instance, when you buy a ticket to a house show, you have the option to purchase 6 months of the Network for an extra 30 bucks? They figure when you have your wallet out, you're more inclined to spend some more money.

ReplyDeleteI could absolutely see that number being correct. However, that poll had roughly a third of those responding picking less than 700,000. While possible, if that's the amount now, they're absolutely beyond fucked, because they were already almost at 700,000 months ago, and people are currently not able to cancel. If this were September 1st and you told me less than 700,000, okay, I could buy that as a possibility with some people not renewing, but if they haven't managed to even get to 700,000 (barely 30,000 more than what they had right after Wrestlemania) after months, then the potential US growth over that number must be virtually zero without some kind of massive changes.
