Things
are in a state of flux right now with Roman Reigns out of the picture
for the time being, leaving Dean Ambrose to take his spot. Dean has
already been dealing with Cena, which puts him in about as big a spot
as you could ask for. Ambrose still needs to rack up some wins
though so hopefully that starts tonight. Let's get to it.
Opening
sequence.
We
open with a recap of the events from Raw with Ambrose, Cena and the
Authority.
Dean
Ambrose vs. Miz
This
is due to Ambrose attacking Miz on MizTV on Main Event. Miz bails to
the floor to start before getting caught in a headlock and rollup for
two. Ambrose sends him outside again but chases after him this time,
eventually taking him down in the ring and hammering away. Miz begs
him not in the face so Dean rakes at the Moneymaker. A bad looking
Reality Check gets two for Miz and he stomps away as the fans are all
behind Dean.
Ambrose
comes right back with a dropkick to send Miz to the floor, followed
by a big plancha. Mizdow offers a distraction though and Miz takes
over as we take a break. Back with Dean blocking the corner
clothesline with a forearm to the face. Cole actually gives us an
explanation for how Dean got out of the room on Raw: “He went out
the back door.”
Dean
sends him to the floor and hits a suicide dive before a tornado DDT
gets two. A missile dropkick is countered into the Figure Four but
Dean is right by the ropes. The Rebound Clothesline drops Miz but
here are Rollins and Kane for a distraction. Thankfully Dean is too
smart for that and hits Dirty Deeds for the pin at 10:13.
Rating:
C-. The match was fine and Dean
getting a clean pin over a former World Champion is nothing but good
for him right now. Miz
isn't exactly John Cena but he's a guy that Dean should be beating
like this. Also how nice is it that a good guy comes off looking
smart for a change? Nice enough match.
The
Authority comes in for the beatdown but Ambrose fights both of them
off and runs off with the briefcase.
Stardust
and Goldust are all insane and say the Gemini Usos can't have the Tag
Team Titles. The rematch is tonight.
Battle
Royal
Cesaro,
Heath Slater, Diego, Titus O'Neil, Fernando, Bo Dallas, Zack Ryder,
Xavier Woods, Kofi Kingston, Sin Cara, Damien Mizdow, Justin Gabriel,
Jack Swagger, Big E.
The
winner gets an Intercontinental Title shot later tonight. Fernando
is quickly tossed out and Bo dumps Cara. Cesaro tosses Diego but the
new Nation can't eliminate Dallas. Instead Kofi low bridges Gabriel
out before Cesaro dumps Woods. Big E. has the power battle with
Cesaro and is lifted up in a very impressive gorilla press. Titus
breaks it up for no apparent reason so Cesaro lifts him up, only to
have Big E. return the save. Cesaro is tired of all this and just
muscles Big E. out.
We
take a break and come back with no eliminations during the break.
Titus and Ryder fight on the ropes and Zack gets tossed. Swagger
eliminates Titus a few seconds later, leaving us with Cesaro, Slater,
Swagger, Dallas, Mizdow and Kingston. Swagger throws Heath out and
everyone surrounds Mizdow. The big beatdown is on and Mizdow is
quickly out.
Kofi
gets thrown over the top but skins the cat to pull Dallas to the
apron with him. A kick to the head is enough to eliminate Bo as
Swagger hits the Vader Bomb on Cesaro. Kofi tries to come back in
with a hurricanrana but Jack catches him and drops Kofi into the
opposite corner. Another Vader Bomb is blocked by Cesaro to send
Swagger to the apron. Kofi hits a springboard shot to Jack's head
but has to save himself from Cesaro. Swagger gets back in but Cesaro
throws Kofi at Swagger to eliminate both guys for the win at 11:25.
Rating:
C. This wasn't bad and
thankfully they kept things moving with only about eight minutes
shown on TV. Cesaro is becoming a beast in these battle royals which
could become a thing for him going forward. Also those displays of
strength of his are hard to ignore with the gorilla presses and
ending sequence being very impressive.
Network
talk.
The
Usos have everything ready to get their titles back.
Tag
Team Titles: Usos vs. Goldust/Stardust
The
Dusts are defending in a
rematch from Night of Champions. We
get some big match intros and start with Jey and Stardust. A rollup
gets a quick two for Jey and he slams Stardust down before sending
him outside. Goldust is sent outside as well, setting up the double
dive from the Usos as we take a break. Back with what
looks like a hot tag to Jey
who backdrops Goldust for two. Jey
is sent into the buckle and out to the floor so Stardust can get in a
few cheap shots of his own. Stardust: “WHERE'S THE KING???”
Back in with Goldust dropping an elbow and cranking on the arm.
Jey
loses his shirt and gets beaten on even more until he nails a forearm
to drop Stardust. Goldust gets backdropped to the floor but he
charges back in to a Samoan drop. The hot tag brings in Jimmy to
clean house with a t-bone suplex to Stardust. The superkick misses
though and Stardust sends him to the floor. Goldust tries a dive but
the Usos catch him and toss him into the barricade. Stardust dives
backwards onto both of them and all four are down. Back in and the
Usos nail a Doomsday Device of all things on Stardust. Jimmy hits
the Superfly Splash but Goldust comes in with the title belt for the
DQ at 10:13.
Rating:
C+. These
teams have good chemistry and the match was working here. It sets up
a third match, likely at the PPV, which should be just as good as
this with extra time. The Usos are getting close to being a great
team and having opponents like this and the Wyatts are only going to
make them better.
We
recap Ambrose stealing the briefcase.
Rollins
is ticked off but Kane says the briefcase doesn't matter because it's
all about the contract. Seth
gets that but says if the briefcase isn't returned, the cinder blocks
will look like child's play.
Layla/Summer
Rae vs. Natalya/Rosa Mendes
Summer
runs from Natalya to start so it's quickly off to Layla. They
trade rollups and Layla has to kick away from the Sharpshooter. Off
to Summer who gets suplexed down and kneed in the corner but Layla
makes a blind tag. She nails one kick and immediately tags back out
to Summer. The villains ask Natalya if she's going to cry as Rosa
tries to play cheerleader on the apron.
Layla
hooks a figure four neck lock and bends back over the ropes before
hitting a dropkick to the side of the head. Summer comes back in for
a bodyscissors and slams Natalya head first into the mat. Natalya
kicks Summer away and makes the tag to Rosa (Cole: “Latina Heat!”)
for a bad dropkick on Layla for two. Everything breaks down and
Natalya kicks Summer to the floor, allowing Layla to roll Rosa up for
the pin at 4:16.
Rating:
D. There are a bunch of
problems with this whole story. To begin with, why did Natalya wait
about three months to go after Summer? Second, it's really hard to
care about these catty fights the girls are having, especially when
some of them are capable of having good matches. The words “some
of them” is the final key point. Rosa Mendes is about as worthless
of a Diva as there has ever been. As far as I know, she has never
won a singles match on TV. Why should I think it's a big deal when
she comes back?
We
look at Main Event where Mark Henry wasn't going to apologize to
America again because he thinks they don't appreciate him. Big Show
came out and promises to knock Rusev out on Smackdown.
Big
Show says he and Henry are brothers from another mother so he'll
knock Rusev out in Henry's honor tonight.
We
get the video on Reigns in the hospital and hear from the doctor on
his prognosis.
Intercontinental
Title: Dolph Ziggler vs. Cesaro
Dolph
is defending. Feeling out
process to start with Ziggler taking him up against the ropes.
Cesaro actually tries a
monkey flip but Dolph lands on his feet and hiptosses him down.
After a quick trip to the floor, Cesaro cranks on a chinlock and
drops the champion with a belly to back suplex.
Ziggler
gets caught in an abdominal stretch to stay on his ribs before a
middle rope elbow gets two for Cesaro. Off to a modified cobra
clutch on Dolph but he jawbreaks his way to freedom. A
nice dropkick puts Cesaro down but he counters the Fameasser into a
powerbomb, only to have Dolph climb
over the shoulder into a
rollup for the pin at 6:22. Cesaro clearly had the rope at two so
there's likely going to be a rematch.
Rating:
C. Nice power vs. speed match
here with Cesaro keeping the champion down and using his power to
negate the high flying. The ending is a good way to keep Cesaro's
credibility and set up another match down the line. They could do
better with more than six minutes so hopefully they're given a good
deal of time later.
The
announcers point out the rope grab and Cesaro yells at the referee.
WWE2K15
stuff.
Lana
and Rusev say their usual.
Rusev
vs. Big Show
Show
goes right at him to start and nails a running clothesline in the
corner. There's a loud chop and another clothesline but Rusev blocks
the whisper chop. Big Show comes back with a sunset flip for two and
knocks Rusev out to the floor. We take a break and come back with
Big Show hitting a few loud
chops in the corner but getting his leg taken out.
Rusev
goes after the leg with some elbows before cranking on it on the mat.
Show fights up with a side slam for two but misses the Knockout
Punch. The jumping superkick drops Big Show for two and it's off to
a side choke. Back up and
the giant hits some clotheslines followed by the chokeslam but Lana
grabs his foot before the Knockout Punch. The distraction lets Rusev
hit him with the Russian flag for the DQ at 9:52.
Rating:
D. This
was ten minutes of “Big Show chops, they do nothing, Big Show chops
again, they do nothing, finish.” Rusev
beating up Big Show next is another good win for him as he's getting
closer to the top of the card with these wins. He's still waiting
for the big feud but he's still working well enough. As for Big
Show, anything that keeps him away from the main event scene is a
good thing.
Big
Show knocks him out and Lana is stunned to end the show.
Overall
Rating: C. Tonight
was a different kind of episode as some stuff seemed to matter. We
set up a new challenger for Dolph and had Ambrose steal the briefcase
which will likely be dealt with on Raw. The wrestling was nothing to
see but more than anything else Smackdown needs to have stuff that
actually matters. Smackdown needs to be a show that people want to
see and two title matches and a battle royal are good ways to get to
that point. Granted I have
little reason to believe this is going to last as it almost never
does but it was an easy show to sit through.

Personally I thought Show/Rusev was better than you rated it. They didn't do too much but they're obviously setting up more matches down the road which is fine. Rusev has a lot better chemistry with Show than with Henry.
ReplyDeleteI just found out that Brazil has the dengue fever. Gross.
ReplyDelete...will I be invited to your wedding?
ReplyDeleteDaniel Bryan tops the pwi 500
ReplyDeleteGood. No other option.
ReplyDeleteHe wrestled for 5 months, sorry but no.
ReplyDeleteAnd Magnus makes it to the top 10 as well.
ReplyDeleteOf course, All the women you can eat.
ReplyDeleteAJ was an option.
ReplyDeleteNah you're right, he was only the best and most popular wrestler.
ReplyDeletelolwut? He's barely even been on TV since the spring.
ReplyDeleteDo you really think 100's of countries tried to press credentials to BatB 98?
ReplyDeleteStyles?
ReplyDeleteThey have a rule of contenders have to compete in at least 20 matches.
ReplyDeleteYEah. He had good matches in more than one organization.
ReplyDeleteMust have been because he won the title.
ReplyDeleteBryan was just so big in the number one promotion in a way very few have ever been.
ReplyDeleteI'm fine with him not winning, he already was #1 in 2010.
ReplyDeleteAJ was #4
ReplyDeletehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2D37POA11KY
ReplyDeleteI'd go with this one.
Randy Orton comes in at #2, Cena at #3
ReplyDeleteNo handle bar mustaches.
ReplyDeleteIt's beach party themes, brother.
(Psst... he's not white...)
ReplyDeleteAdam Cole #9
ReplyDeleteNo way Orton takes #2, what's their criteria?
ReplyDeleteEHEH.
ReplyDeleteMust have been because he unified the titles.
ReplyDeleteLittle bit kayfabe, little bit real stuff
ReplyDeleteTo the point that fans were forming organized protests and turning on everything else until they got him the main event win they wanted.
ReplyDeleteDoesn't the PWI 500 go from June to June? If that's the case, he really only missed a few weeks during the eligibility period.
ReplyDeleteYeah, that's why AJ won that one year. "In a time when title reigns last 3 to 4 weeks, AJ was able to hold the title for 8 months."
ReplyDeleteNew lead singer is brown.
ReplyDeleteSeptember to August from what I heard.
ReplyDeleteHow did HHH get hurt in 07? He's on the NYR PPV but I don't remember him anywhere else til he came back at SS.
ReplyDeleteHe tore his other quad at NYR.
ReplyDeleteI know. There can be a black country band out there for all I know, doesn't mean black guys will automatically like it.
ReplyDeleteDo you guys want to look at the list with me. I'm having fun complaining about it.
ReplyDeletehttp://ewrestlinginformer.blogspot.cz/2014/09/lista-pwi-2014.html
And then......he got injured.
ReplyDeleteIf you're in the NYC area, then you feel my pain tonight. Everything is about Jeter. They interviewed all of his friends, living relatives and i think they're going to do a seance to get comments from his dead relatives.
ReplyDeleteGrado, you loser, you came in at 500
ReplyDeleteBut they probably know each other... so there's always that little bit of respect.
ReplyDeleteHow do you feel about Batista at 16 and Ambrose at 18?
ReplyDeleteWhere is the full list, can't seem to find it yet.
ReplyDeleteDon't like Batista that high on the list. Wasn't impressed with his body of work.
ReplyDeleteAren't you watching NYR right now? That's the match he got hurt in.
ReplyDeleteWell Batista won the Rumble and main evented WM so...
ReplyDeleteEh, it's kayfabed anyway.
ReplyDeleteAfter Guardians, I can live with it.
ReplyDeleteReally Ryback at 75 and stardust at 82? no way cody should be lower than ryback
ReplyDeleteRVD going 40 spots above MVP was a surprise
ReplyDeletejimmy one spot over jey; that's bs
ReplyDeleteMeh. I still think very little about Eminem.
ReplyDeleteWatching this DX-Rated RKO match got me thinking.
ReplyDeleteIn their feud to Wrestlemania, it would have worked so much better if the face-heel sides were reversed. Orton was over as hell with the fans and he was fighting the McMahons who have always been defacto heels. Have Orton remain all crazy but overcome the McMahons and he's the biggest star in the WWE.
Barry Hardy still jobbing strong at 491.
ReplyDeleteReigns at 6 seems too high.
ReplyDeleteI might be slightly biased but I always preferred the PS 50 over the pwi 500. For one thing it's a purely workrate list, and a top 50 is a much more sensible figure than 500.
ReplyDeletematt hardy at 47?
ReplyDeleteRock star spud 180
ReplyDeleteBrodous Clay 216
and then he gets popped for Wellness.....
ReplyDeleteYo, Jobber, this PWI 500 is filled with too many indy monkeys for my liking. They should pare it down. Although...on the other side of the coin, if I was an indy spot monkey I would be thrilled to be on the list, if PWI were still relevant, which it isn't.
ReplyDeleteB Boy at 313 lol I love the dumb Indy names
ReplyDeleteIf you have a guy named Cheesburger on your list, you definitely need to pare it down.
ReplyDeleteDid a little research, and yup, the PWI 500 eligibility period is from June to June, basically.
ReplyDelete"PWI writers choose the position of the wrestler following a designated evaluation period, which spans June 1 of last year through May 31 of this year. Anything a wrestler accomplished before or after that period—whether it's winning a world title or doing an opening match job—is not considered. Also, they follow a criteria that includes win-loss record, championships won, quality of competition, major feuds, prominence within a wrestler's individual promotion(s), and overall wrestling ability."
So Daniel Bryan at #1 makes sense. Can't necessarily say the same for everyone else on the list.
Yeah I think it is fine to have them on there. A good friend of mine made the list a few times so did Dylan Kage another guy I know.
ReplyDeleteJust audibly gasped at both Blue Bloods and Blossom. Friday night TV!
ReplyDeletePunk isn't even on the list at all, I get that he bounced in January, but still middle-low spot would of been good.
ReplyDeleteI can see that if I were an indy guy, my placement on the 500 would be a big deal.
ReplyDeleteI still love to see it every year and I do think it will help cheeseburger and B Boy get better indy bookings.
ReplyDeleteLooked at the 500 list, nice to see former PWO guys on there, but no Matt Cross? Boooooo....
ReplyDeleteExactly... like this makes a real difference in peoples lives and doesn't harm anything.
ReplyDeleteShit... pretty sure *I* made the list in '07...
ReplyDeleteColt Cabana two spots ahead of Fandango
ReplyDeleteI know, I was thinking the same thing. Who calls them self Cheeseburger?
ReplyDeleteI would have ranked you higher FWIW
ReplyDeleteSin Cara beats out Sandow lol
ReplyDeleteHi Colt Cabana... how ya' doin'?
ReplyDeleteThere's a few names on that list that I'm surprised are still in the business. Ruckus, Azrieal and even Sylvain Grenier.
ReplyDeletehttp://www.rohwrestling.com/sites/default/files/imagecache/wrestler_profile_featured_photo/cheeseburgerfull.png
ReplyDeleteThis is Cheeseburger.
I think the name that I was surprised to see on the list was Cody Deaner.
ReplyDeleteGain some weight.
ReplyDeleteEric Young at 19 wow
ReplyDeleteWhile giving him the title was stupid. He was good in the role.
ReplyDeleteYou beat me to it C-Dub. He's a ROH prospect or something.
ReplyDeleteAnd Jesse Neal! He had to go on food stamps because TNA paid him so badly and he hasn't found something better to do with his life? Plus he's an ex-soldier, you'd think that'd open some doors somewhere.
ReplyDeleteI think that was before.
ReplyDeletehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DOnBpRp4Vb4
ReplyDeleteCandid Lana... some amusing stuff. Rusev beating on a Donkey Kong arcade machine.
Based on the pic, I say the name is ironic.
ReplyDeleteMichaels is a bloodied up in this tag match. I'm a big fan. I'd go ***3/4
ReplyDeleteVERY GOOD, ABEYANCE!
ReplyDeleteUsually, in my experience, the guy that can knock back the most cheeseburgers is the skinny guy.
ReplyDeleteHave you got to Orton's post match gusher yet?
ReplyDeleteanyone have a link to the 500
ReplyDeleteChris Cruze is such a generic indy wrestler name
ReplyDeleteWho does their scouting?
ReplyDeleteI'd love to know what makes them think a guy named cheeseburger can amount to anything.
He's probably a better wrestler than that comedian Hamburger is at comedy.
ReplyDeletehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R-gytvj1w2w
In their last PPV was he the guy that hosted the pre show with Mandy Leon ? if so he's lucky.
ReplyDeleteJobber put it down belo....never mind.
ReplyDeleteMason Ryan at 322.
ReplyDelete#StopThere
What was that dailymotion user with all the recent Puro?
ReplyDeleteI'm shocked that neither Cross, nor Jacobs made the list.
ReplyDeleteI just want to see where my boy Big League John McChesney is. at.
ReplyDeleteJD Dunn >>>>> JT Dunn
ReplyDeletehttp://www.dailymotion.com/original_bonski
ReplyDeleteHe's one there, in like the 300's.
ReplyDeleteJust looked up '07's list... Mistico was #3... aka SIN CARA!
ReplyDeleteSo, you're back.
ReplyDeleteAwesome thanks.
ReplyDeleteDarren Young higher than Jushin Liger?
ReplyDeleteDid Darren Young come up with this list?
319, he fell from last year.
ReplyDeleteSo Bobby Shields is on the list, but not Bobby Beverly?
ReplyDeleteDid Pat Patterson come in at #69?
ReplyDeleteOn Darren Young's list he did.
ReplyDeleteI'm surprised that N8 Mattson made it.
ReplyDeleteI'll bet Orton came in... his ass.
ReplyDeleteYep. Crazy how bad it is. Just a year and a half later he'd be fined 100k
ReplyDeleteRobbie E and Tessmacher were the #1 trend Worldwide during Amazing Race. I bet 98% of those tweets were about her ass.
ReplyDelete...from Vinson
ReplyDeleteTweeting with one hand takes skill.
ReplyDeleteNot as much as you'd think...
ReplyDeleteIt's the cleanup that's impressive.
ReplyDeleteYou're supposed to clean up?
ReplyDeleteI don't have Twitter.
ReplyDelete500 indy scrubs and Ken Anderson still doesn't make the list. LOL
ReplyDeleteThey need that mil because TNA might not be there by the time they're done with the show.
ReplyDeleteYou'd probably have a million followers if you did.
ReplyDeleteAlso you would never objectify Brooke like that you respect he.....BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
ReplyDeleteNo intention to watch the rest of the show. Switched back to Nitro lol.
ReplyDeleteEven PWI doesn't want him.
ReplyDeleteI didn't know that bitch had a head until a month ago.
ReplyDeleteI searched wrong, he is on there. At number 51 too which is ridiculous.
ReplyDeleteYeah? What did she do for you a month ago that made you realize she had a head?
ReplyDeleteKota Ibushi should have been a little higher, as with Gregory Iron.
ReplyDelete56 spots ahead of KOTA IBUSHI!??!?
ReplyDeleteAgreed about Ibushi. Easily should be in the top 20.
ReplyDeleteWell I don't know about you, but I don't like jizz in my keyboard, mouse pad or on my phone... especially if I'm trying to talk into it.
ReplyDeleteStupid stupid stupid, Kota can wrestle, Ken can't.
ReplyDeleteI saw a clip that made me realize that she had a third hole that could be pumped full of baby batter...then she started to talk and ruined it for me.
ReplyDeleteKen is OK, but his ship has sailed. Kota is all around amazing.
ReplyDeleteIt's funny that Hogan brought Savage into WCW yet Savage fit in with the company 100x better than Hulk.
ReplyDeleteIbushi vs Okada from earlier this year has to be my favorite NJPW match ever.
ReplyDeleteI took a break from social media and the people on my facebook page went nuts.
ReplyDeleteAs a TNA fan, you'll be pleased to know DJ Z is 2 places ahead of Tomohiro Ishii.
ReplyDeleteYou have a facebook? I don't know why but that surprises me.
ReplyDeleteGo to twitter, it seems better there.
ReplyDeleteWin if you can, lose if you must, but always cheat.
ReplyDeleteHis name is Rollie Fingaz.
ReplyDeleteOut of all the shows Brooke could have been on it depresses me that "Naked and Afraid" wasn't the one.
ReplyDeletegreat show
ReplyDeleteHogan is just a joke on these 1995 Nitros. The show is kicking all kinds of ass and Hogan is feuding with a bunch of cartoon characters.
ReplyDeleteRavens wcw run was awesome
ReplyDeleteI still believe that Raven could have done a "3 faces of Foley" type gimmick in the WWE and the matches would have been better.
ReplyDeleteThis Juvy vs Kidman match is incredible. Best match with juvy maybe
ReplyDeleteGoldberg killed it, but it was almost worth it.
ReplyDeleteAlmost, that's the keyword.
ReplyDeleteJuvi in ECW or Juvi in Super X Cup is his best US work.
ReplyDeleteI'm watching some of his post Goldberg stuff and its pretty good, even if it is a feud with Saturn.
ReplyDeleteBest in wcw. It's good
ReplyDeleteHe has no reason to be there. Sting and Luger was good and the Randy and Flair stuff was great. Of course it was blown off at that horrid Uncensored PPV,
ReplyDeleteI'm really fond of the extreme lucha libre era in ECW.
ReplyDeleteSting is just in the zone on these 95' Nitros, his prime.
ReplyDeleteOnly issue was his weird hair. The inbetween phase between surfer sting and crow sting. surfer sting with longish brunette hair was weird in mid 96.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe the juvy driver was just a set up move?
ReplyDeleteI felt like his character was maturing, I didn't mind it at all.
ReplyDeleteDouble A spine buster on Orton. Lands wrong and tears the quad.
ReplyDeleteFair enough. Should have at least kept lifting weights when he wrestled Hogan at Starrcade.
ReplyDeleteYep. I am a charming and sarcastic there as I am here.
ReplyDeleteThat was the biggest letdown ever. He had that goofy body suit and was missing about 20 lbs. of muscle. Hogan beating his ass for the whole match didn't help either.
ReplyDeleteWhat if the Red Sox pitcher threw at Jeter's head while he sat in the dugout?
ReplyDeleteJust watched Tanahshi vs. Shibata. It's a good match, but no fucking way is it *****
ReplyDeleteI'd probably go a whole star lower, maybe ****1/4 if I was feeling generous.
...ew.
ReplyDeleteI think Dave gave it five because of the backstory and post match.
ReplyDeleteSo excited for AFL grand final, half an hour to go, biggest day on the Australian sporting calender, go Hawks!
ReplyDeleteEasiest match to book of all time and they fuck it up.
ReplyDeleteBlitzkrieg begs to differ.
ReplyDeleteThat's tonight? Awesome, time to give the account one last watch, I guess.
ReplyDeleteYeah I'm retroactively a big fan of 1998 juvy. Youth warrior ftw. Watched the match twice in a row it was so good.
ReplyDeleteWhat is that?
ReplyDeleteJuvy was bigger than Rey for a while. Crazy.
ReplyDeleteStill though, as a match it's nowhere near Nakamura-Shibata from day 1 of the G1 (which I think is the best NJPW match of the year). It's not really even as good as their original match in the G1.
ReplyDeleteWhen the Rock said his name on RAW I knew he was big.
ReplyDeleteI love 1996 WCW. Not sure how Raw survived honestly.
ReplyDeleteWas good til the feud with Saturn ended,
ReplyDeleteYou gonna celebrate with a round of Vegemite?
ReplyDeleteHell get signed by WWE eventually,
ReplyDeleteHahaha...I am actually waiting for my bread to toast as I type this...
ReplyDeleteAustralian Football League?
ReplyDeleteJust read about the Rock's workout for "Hercules". That dude's heart is going to explode in a few years if he keeps it up
ReplyDeleteMeng-Hogan is main event over Sting-Flair lol.
ReplyDeleteHaven't seen you around in a while. Missed my opportunity to talk cold cash shit about USA basketball. America, Fuck yeah!
ReplyDeleteAustralian Rules Football, like a combination of NFL, soccer, rugby and some elements of ice hockey. Today is the Premiership game :)
ReplyDeleteEddy Guerrero was Shawn Michaels closest peer in terms of talent in the 90's
ReplyDeleteToo bad they never wrestled each other.
ReplyDeleteAustralia were an embarrasment losing to Turkey >___> USA were so awesome, and even then it was like your C team...
ReplyDeleteDude motivates me honestly. When I don't want to work out I look at his facebook and see him flying 20 hours and then lifting and that motivates me to run. But yeah I agree. At the least dude needs to take a fucking break.
ReplyDeleteDid you see his diet?
ReplyDeleteWho's playing? Who's the favorite?
ReplyDeleteyes, I thought about taking the challenge but nah
ReplyDeleteI always thought Juvy was more talented. Too bad he couldn't control his demons.
ReplyDeleteIf you used Dragon software it's easy..I mean, LOOK! A BIRDIE!!
ReplyDeleteHe gets props from me. Even if I didn't work 60 hours a week I still don't think I could keep that up. I wish he would chill. Don't want him on the dead wrestler list either.
ReplyDelete
