Original Plan For The Authority Role on This Past RAW
The original plan was for a Vince McMahon/John Cena segment to air on RAW that would lead to a period of no authority figure on the show but decided to switch to the anonymous GM role. There is even some talk right now of a "weekly GM of the night" that would be filled by a celebrity guest.

WWE To Have More Major Storylines Develop on Smackdown?
To coincide with the move to the more popular Thursday night time slot, the WWE is wanting to treat Smackdown as an equal to RAW instead of a "B" show by having a lot of major storylines play out on the show.

Sheamus Update
Sheamus who was supposed to be hurt in storyline only after being put through a table by Mark Henry ended up getting legitimately injured by that move. The WWE has not confirmed the injury and said it was just a "stinger."
