"They did not expect it to be as much as it was."
ReplyDeleteSigh...they really really are that dumb.
I am fucking PUMPED for wrestling internet today. Should be fun.
ReplyDelete"it will be a repeat of last year's show and that he does not want that to happen. "
ReplyDeleteBut Rock vs Cena pt 2 was perfectly fine, right?
Holy shit it's happening. They're going to feed us another babyface we don't want. This is absolutely glorious. Maniagoers worldwide are sharpening their teeth.
ReplyDeleteBurn Roman Burn
We definitely don't want a repeat of previous matches... except Cena/Rock, Taker/HBK, Orton/Cena, HHH/Taker...
ReplyDeleteAustin rock 2 and 3 was totally boring
ReplyDelete"For those wondering, Vince McMahon reportedly has no plans on adding Daniel Bryan to the WrestleMania main event title match citing that it will be a repeat of last year's show and that he does not want that to happen."
ReplyDeleteNo Daniel Bryan, Twice in a Lifetime?
WM 22 and WM 23 were basically repeats with Cena, too.
ReplyDeleteThat display pic though. 10/10
ReplyDeleteTime F'n magazine: http://time.com/3682093/cancel-wwe-network-royal-rumble/
ReplyDeleteA tall guy whose only talent is the hot tag is ON THE FAST LANE TO WRRRRRRRESTTTLEMANIA!!
ReplyDeleteAs I said in another thread even with this from Vince we all know Vince changes his mind 100 times a day. Bryan will be in and win at mania. It's all about the share holders and the 9.99's and the cancellations speak louder than the booing philly fans.
ReplyDeleteNo speed bumps on THIS bandwagon, baby.
ReplyDeleteI'm ready for Vince to die now
ReplyDeleteOf course, Daniel Bryan winnin the Rumble and actually being part of a one-on-one main event at WM wouldn't have been repeating a damn thing.
ReplyDeleteHe does not want a repeat of last year? When DB saved the show? Does he want the fans to trash the WM main event then?
ReplyDeleteThe backlash from last night has gotten picked up by USA Today and ESPN. Well, at least Vince got the mainstream coverage he so desperately desires
What a disaster, first The Bunny quits and now mass WWE Network cancellations. Can things get any worse?
ReplyDeletetime for HHH to have another long car ride with Vince.
ReplyDeleteThis Reigns business reminds me a lot of Sheamus winning the title in late 2008. Except they stopped that shit before Mania. I'm pretty sure Reigns is gonna end having a pretty similar career to Sheamus too.
ReplyDeleteHis reign will bomb out before June, they'll take the title off him and move him down the card. Maybe even try a heel turn or two. Reigns will keep getting better and in two or three years, will reach his potential and probably even become a pretty good worker. But it will be too late to do anything about it because he'll be just another guy by that point and he'll slide right into that upper tier slot occupied by Sheamus right now.
Not a bad spot but a total fail given what he could have been. Samoan Sheamus.
This all feels like those old movies where the villain (Vince McMahon) ties the damsel (Roman Reigns) to the tracks while a train (we neckbeards and oh yeah a huge chunk of Vince's paying customers) bears down, except Vince already shot the hero (Bryan) and threw his corpse in the desert.
ReplyDeleteThe people DEMAND a fake Roman Reigns account where the description says: "SUFFERIN SUCCOTASH, I'm headed to Wrestlemania!"
ReplyDeleteLet's say it's true that they didn't that kind of backlash. Now that they're aware of it they'll take Reigns out of the Mania main event right? Right?
ReplyDelete"Reportedly, the WWE panicked and changed a lot of things right before
ReplyDeletethe show and that the Rock was said to be very unhappy about those
changes."
Good job, Vince. Piss off your biggest mainstream star. No big deal.
Let's say it's true that they didn't expect that kind of backlash. Now that they're aware of it they'll take Reigns out of the Mania main event right?
ReplyDeleteMAINSTREAM baby
ReplyDeleteI'D LET ROMAN REIGNS GIVE ME A BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACK BODY DROP IF YOU CATCH MY DRIFT, PAL!
ReplyDeleteIf they didn't expect a backlash they're idiots.
ReplyDeletebahahahahaha. WHAT A MANEUVER FROM THE SAMOAN SUPERSTAR!
ReplyDeleteI've already seen backlash to the backlash. A former writer on twitter actually said the fans "entitlement" is out of control.
ReplyDeleteGet the popcorn ready guys, it's gonna be another interesting, yet slightly sadder, 3 months.
ReplyDeleteWWE should have played "Taps" as Rocky's theme song last night.
ReplyDeletehttp://youtu.be/sd7b2v9T1Dw
It's downright hilarious how fucking stupid this company is.
ReplyDeleteI wish these morons that run this company would start paying closer attention to the internet.
ReplyDeleteAlso I no longer will be giving these halfwits any of my money since they cannot listen to their fans.
Reigns of Castamere baby. Bring on Mania.
ReplyDeleteYou know if you replace Ted Dibiase with the name of Vince McMahon and then replace the million dollar belt with network/subscribers, Jake Roberts' promo at Wrestlemania 6 still kicks ass.
ReplyDeletelol love it. The McMahons send their regards.
ReplyDeleteEntitlement? Um, don't the fans watch the shows, pay for the network, tickets and merchandise?
ReplyDeleteI made up lyrics in the other thread but it got left behind.

Considering the mood when Roman entered the Rumble maybe they should have had him come out to Rains of Castamere instead. The Philly crowd was definitely ready to Red Wedding that bitch.
And who are you, Bryan said
That I am jobbed so low
Only a goat of a different coat
Is all the truth I know
A mane of hair and a thick beard
But I still get big pops
And mine are long and loud my boss
As long and loud as his
But Roman wins, so Roman wins
The Reigns of Castamere
Now the Reigns rules o'er this world
With no one there to hear
And now the Reigns rules o'er your world
With not a soul to hear
One thing that rarely gets brought up: we are at the same point as we were before survivor series making that ppv moot. Authority is still here and no one was fired.
ReplyDelete"...that it will be a repeat of last year's show and that he does not want that to happen."
ReplyDeleteThis statement was very humorous to me. There was a way to prevent what happened last year...
Boy, Fast Lane sure looks like a helluva show. The guy in the WM main event with the belt won't even be on it!
ReplyDeletePretty sure the only way to save this is to turn Reigns heel like Rock did, then beat Lesnar and have his first defense against Bryan.
ReplyDeleteOne huge portion of their revenue is now internet-based (the network), and there's no reason for this neglect and/or stubbornness.
ReplyDeleteTalk about a cavalcade of bad news, lol. If the WWE is running Raw in the northeast tonight, they're in real trouble.
ReplyDeleteThat's what I'm thinking. Reigns needs a rocky 97 heel turn.
ReplyDeleteOr build to a Bryan title match at SummerSlam, but that's probably waiting too long.
ReplyDeleteI'm with someone who says that after the house show business collapses under Reigns, they'll have Rollins win via MITB and then John Cena will SAVE THE DAY at SummerSlam. D-Bry will just waste time in the midcard.
The fall will maintain once Roman Reigns!
ReplyDeleteThey don't have to put DB in the main event, but if they don't they need to put the title on Rollins TONIGHT. Fans can get behind Rollins vs. Reigns and I think feeding Brock to Bryan will be acceptable. What is NOT acceptable is another fuel with Kane or Wyatt
ReplyDeleteIs it wrong that if Vince were to die tomorrow, the first words that would pop in my head would be "good riddance"?
ReplyDeleteYeah, wouldn't want a similar (or THE SAME) main event two years in a row would you Vince? Why don't be just book Cena Vs Rock for this year?
ReplyDeleteWhat storm is more troublesome? The real one or the proverbial shit storm they've created?
ReplyDeleteI think fans would be fine with Brock vs. Rollins after last night, truth be told.
ReplyDeleteLet's be real: Rock wasn't there because they didn't expect backlash.
ReplyDeleteFans will only get behind that if there's a double turn. Otherwise, Roman over Rollins? That's a guarantee for a crowd riot.
ReplyDeleteIn the home of the legendary Wrestlemania XI tonight baby.
ReplyDeleteThat's dark coming from you Abey. You're like the nicest guy around.
ReplyDeleteBryan just shouldn't have been in the rumble.
ReplyDeleteI guess Vince should just book Cena/Rock III or Rock/Austin IV instead of putting Bryan in the main event. Keep it fresh and avoid a repeat.
ReplyDeleteGiven that they actually had the freakin' Rock come in and paid him a bunch of money just to prevent Reigns from being shat on by the crowd, one would think they *did* have an idea of just how big the backlash was going to be.
ReplyDeleteAlso, here's an idea....when you're booking a big babyface star and know there's going to be backlash, maybe BOOK SOMEONE ELSE WHO'S ACTUALLY OVER to win the damn Royal Rumble.
WWE is a complete mess right now and all of their problems are totally avoidable.
ReplyDeleteAre they even going to be able to host RAW tonight with this winter storm? If so, they may not get that many fans.
ReplyDeleteEveryone has a dark side Ark, and Vince caused me to show it.
ReplyDeleteDear Triple H:
ReplyDeleteWAY TO GO, PAUL!
http://deadspin.com/way-to-go-paul-hulk-like-hockey-parent-breaks-glass-1681057486
Lol this company I swear.
ReplyDeleteA nice preview of typical houses going forward under the roman empire!
ReplyDeleteOr they're snowed in and stuck with thousands of angry fans inside the arena.
ReplyDeleteThey are really starting to reap what they've sowed after 10 years of booking Cena on top. They've kept slapping their fans around and the fans have had enough. Their demographics also show that the Cena era has really failed to create new fans too.
ReplyDeleteLOL No shit the Rock wasn't happy! He knows the PEOPLE and understands what the PEOPLE want.
ReplyDeleteWhat will look really bad will be the mepty seats after a historic RR like last night. It'll just compound the bad even more, with less casuals to drown out the REALLY witty chants.
ReplyDeleteThis could be bad comedy.
Get your high school gym seat ready!
ReplyDeleteWelp, that's it. Vince has officially, totally, all-encompassingly lost his goddamn mind.
ReplyDeleteSo what do we think the Rock plans were earlier in the day?
ReplyDeleteOne unmentioned important aspect of the Rumble:
ReplyDeleteI think the fat kid who freaked out about Rock beating Punk in 2013 was there hard camera side.
The only thing that can save Wrestlemania now is that still-active MITB briefcase. Rollins should announce outright that he's cashing in after Lesnar/Reigns, to give himself a guaranteed shot against a tired opponent. Or, even better, someone had this great suggestion in one of other threads: book Rollins/Bryan for the briefcase on the Mania undercard. There's your avenue to getting Bryan into the title bout and saving the show.
ReplyDeleteNot long after the show was over, I found myself back in the ER with Mrs. Stranger, as Brock Lesnar disease continues to be a thorn in her/my side, so I find myself in a pissy mood this morning with lack of sleep.
ReplyDeleteSo really, who gives a flying fuck if Wrestler X wasn't booked to win the Form of Entertainment Big Match. It's called reality, and you can find it outside your door.
This is like fucking Blue Chip Rocky Maivia going to the WrestleMania Main event.
ReplyDeleteThe People's Champ has a knack for things like this.
ReplyDeleteYeah and the Rock was probably angry they are sabotaging his cousin or whatever through bad booking. The Rock has enough clout where he should've just refused to play ball.
ReplyDeleteEveryone is on the internet. It isn't just some thing only smarks use.
ReplyDeleteMaybe he can talk some sense into Vince, what's WWE gonna do, censor his legacy?
ReplyDeleteEnjoy a nice dinner and watch the Rumble.
ReplyDeleteIt's looking like the worst won't hit until 10-11ish tonight so who knows.
ReplyDeleteGod, can imagine if the show ended WITHOUT The Rock at all? At the very least, it ended on that one positive note because he did get a sizable pop for coming out.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely. "Internet fans" is an archaic term.
ReplyDeleteLive from Eureka High School, it's MONDAY NIGHT RAW!
ReplyDeleteSucks about Mrs. Stranger but this is a shitty comment.
ReplyDeleteFan favorite face gets eliminated in a non-descript way + historically raucous crowd + awesome triple threat lead in + guy fans aren't behind winning =HUGE backlash
ReplyDeleteI fail to see which part of that equation they thought wouldn't lead to a lot of backlash I'm guessing the last part.
Pretty much every internet wrestling site had something about potential backlash if Bryan didn't win.
Circa 1997 no less. I just don't get WHY we have to push Reigns NOW. The guy needs more seasoning in the singles role.
ReplyDeleteYeah, we've been saying it for years. It won't stop Triple H from making Twitter jokes to show those people on the internets or Vince having little clue about some of his own media on the net.
ReplyDeleteFrom one of the photos, it looked like he may have been there to take his mom to the show.
ReplyDeleteI said it earlier, I'll say it again...
ReplyDeleteWoke up this morning,
Vince let Reigns win the Rumble?
Fuck this company.
Hopes the misses overcomes diverticulitis like Brock did and keeps kicking ass.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear that.
ReplyDeleteHowever, the consumer gives a flying fuck and the consumer keeps the company alive. That's reality.
But did it? I think it was worse. They could have had Cole screaming over the boos and fade to black. instead OH MY GOD A GUY WHO DOESN'T REALLY WRESTLE FOR THE COMPANY ANYMORE...he is with Reigns? BOOOOOOOOO
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about Mrs Stranger. If Brock can beat it, so can she!
ReplyDeleteWhen Vince said that he knows what the fans like better than the fans do a long time ago, I knew they were in trouble. The man has such a huge ego.Basically telling the fans that we'll only like who HE chooses for us to like. No one can get over organically anymore. You guys like Bryan? Fine, we'll build him up and then have him wrestle 10 minutes in the Rumble and get eliminated halfway through. You guys like Ryback? Fine, we'll have him lose his first match to Punk by a lowblow and then we'll have Cena pound on him for a couple months AND turn Ryback heel! You guys are cheering for Ryback again when he returned to help Team Cena at Survivor Series? Fine, we'll have him be the 2nd one eliminated from the Survivor Series match. You guys like Ambrose? Fine, we'll give him a movie to shoot and take him off TV when he is getting super hot (just like they just did with Orton as well) and we'll have him job to exploding TV's, candy canes, and holograms.
ReplyDeleteI asked this last night:
ReplyDeleteWhat other company actively opposes its own fanbase and audience? I'm honestly drawing a blank. I can't think of any company that doesn't just ignore its fanbase (that happens all the time), but actively fights against it so hard like WWE does. It's like Vince doesn't have any real competition anymore so he's decided his own audience is the enemy now.
You know who did nothing and looks the best out of all of this? Brock.
ReplyDeleteSeriously, the last time he left, he was booed hardcore. This time? He's gonna get cheered HUGE.
Hey guys, do you remember in 1998 when Stone Cold was super red hot and was in the rumble. Then half way through the match he was eliminated by Faarooq in under 10 minutes and Rocky won the rumble? Those were............HEY WAIT A MINUTE. That never happened!
ReplyDeleteCan we offer Vince Jordan a one shot deal to return and hear his thoughts? I'll give him the token Rumble return pop.
ReplyDeleteIf they never unified the titles, they wouldn't have this problem. Rollins could be World champion and defending against Bryan in the undercard at Mania and people would be completely happy.
ReplyDeleteStupid.
ReplyDeleteCable companies.
ReplyDeleteStranger, you have my sympathies. I've been down that road of weekly and monthly ER visits.
ReplyDeleteStill, this is a wrestling blog. You're not getting something else.
Maybe the NFL.
ReplyDeleteIt's not just Wrestler X not winning. It's that they're basically actively fighting against the audience. We didn't want Vince to win the Rumble in 1999, but we were pissed for different reasons. We at least wanted to see what would happen next.
ReplyDeleteIf the #CancelWWENetwork hashtag is true, people are leaving in droves here.
Finally getting that mainstream attention they wanted.
ReplyDeleteThey seemed to hemorrhage a lot of their teen / college audience when they started to lose Hardy, Shawn, Batista and Edge between 2009-2011.
ReplyDeleteSo....anything interesting happen last night?
ReplyDeleteComcast, some of the big gaming publishers.
ReplyDeleteIs it wrong to want Rollins to cash in on the NXT title?
ReplyDeleteWas just thinking that last night, Smackdown could have been the show with the guys that the fans want to see, Raw could have been the show with the guys that the company wanted to see.
ReplyDeleteand pedro morales and jake roberts lasted until the final 3
ReplyDeleteBut at least they cut your rate if you call and complain
ReplyDeleteIf WWF could survive 1995, then WWE can survive 2015 even against Vince's wishes.
ReplyDeleteI tried a new gluten-free frozen pizza and it was okay.
ReplyDeleteSaw this on twitter: #RoyalRumbleIn5Words Vince is now Verne Gagne
ReplyDeleteall the lulz
No, then the complaint would be Bryan was competing for the secondary World title that no one cares about.
ReplyDeleteI was watching Biloxi Blues the other night and many of tidbits in the update remind me of the following line: "It's beyond moronic -- it's sub-moronic."
ReplyDeleteOh god, that's so true.
ReplyDeleteI said it last night and I'll say it again: the problem isn't one world title. The problem is shitty booking and having the wrong guy win the rumble.
ReplyDeleteI've been sick since May, two surgeries and no relief from the pain in sight. Shit happens; does this mean I shouldn't be pissed off about getting no value for my monthly investment? Watching something I've loved all my life get systematically fist-fucked by a senile douche?
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry about your wife dude. I pray she heals up soon, because I know firsthand what a prolonged illness is like. But this is way off-base.
Ill take this thread to bitch about the announcing. Holee fuck was it ever annoying to hear them constantly giving out Rumble stats.. i know those by the numbers things are fun but please, a little moderation? They must have had Rain Maj in their headpieces. I was not told there would be math. Also, i really wonder how Vince used to think JR was too Southern but has no problem with his hillbilly color guy yakkinn it up with Maggle and Jurrih.
ReplyDeleteNo wonder they are going to give away another free month of the Network next month. This Fast Lane plan looks terrible for a show. They should just do an NXT special instead.
ReplyDeleteNo, I'm starting to see it as a more prestigious title now.
ReplyDeleteRemember, this is the man who thought Batista-Orton was going to be the biggest Wrestlemania main event in history.
ReplyDeleteA guy just coming out of a coma for 20 years wouldn't be anywhere near as out of touch as Vince is right now.
You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become Verne Gagne.
ReplyDeleteAt least Verne was trying to keep someone who could actually wrestle on top
ReplyDeleteNo. This is a place of peace (even if we do speak of hate consistently). The only people here who like to piss people off seem to be Ape and Mr. Satan. And I don't know what Danimal is.
ReplyDeleteIt's been a lot better here the last couple of months.
they are about a week eailier
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping for Hunter / Brock IV....
ReplyDeleteI cared about both world titles equally so it would have gotten my vote.
ReplyDelete"For those wondering, Vince McMahon reportedly has no plans on adding Daniel Bryan to the WrestleMania main event title match citing that it will be a repeat of last year's show and that he does not want that to happen."
ReplyDeleteMan, it's a good thing he never did repeats with Austin, Rock, Triple H, Michaels, or Cena...
I wish Speed Force would have made its debut at Fast Lane
ReplyDeleteSame old, same old. The World title is the I-C title of the 2000's. It's a secondary title and wouldn't make anyone happy. The whole point is that we want OUR guy on top. The fans buy the tickets, pay for the show, buy the merch.....we should have at least a little bit of a say.
ReplyDeleteIt was good for a second because they were happy to see The Rock. They they booed the fuck out of it because Philly knew exactly what WWE were doing.
ReplyDeleteWe're 6 months away from it being a completely free service.
ReplyDeleteWorst_In_The_World and Matt_Indeed you guys here? I know I don't always get along with the two of you but I'm feeling smarkier than I've ever been. UNITED
ReplyDeleteThey are running an NXT special in February.
ReplyDeleteYou do get your say when you get to vote on stipulations for random 10 PM RAW matches once or twice a month!
ReplyDeleteSorry for talking about wrestling on a wrestling blog...Mr. moderator of a wrestling blog.
ReplyDeleteand yes I am sorry to hear about your wife's illness also but.. i mean really
I understood Worst last night. I felt dirty.
ReplyDeleteHi.
ReplyDeleteWelcome. I see your smark cherry has been popped.
Or Brock
ReplyDeleteAh, well promote that and just ditch the February PPV completely.
ReplyDeleteHe should add Rollins to the main-event then. Or Ambrose. Or hell even Hogan for that matter. Brock vs. Reigns in a one-on-one results in 70,000 people (or however many that venue sits) chanting "boring" by the five minute mark.
ReplyDeleteI'd say you're in the minority on that one. WWF1987 even said it himself: Rollins could be the World champ on the *undercard*. That says all you need to know about that title's relevance.
ReplyDeleteHealth is important.
ReplyDeleteIf WWE does intend going with Roman-Brock as the main event of WM, the only way I can see them salvage the situation is by doing a double turn.
ReplyDeleteI've always been a smark but keep it tame. What they did last night was unacceptable.
ReplyDeleteVerne at least had the excuse of being a traditionalist. Vince is a supposed visionary.
ReplyDeleteMaybe they'll book Daniel Bryan against the Undertaker, lol
ReplyDeleteI'm surprised they don't run CENA vs Brock more. It's RIGHT THERE in front of them.
ReplyDeleteimagine this were a football team and we all wanted russell wilson to be our qb but they give us johnny football as the starter instead
ReplyDeleteWorst made appearances last night. I think WWE broke him down, though. He laughs at things more than getting enraged or bitingly clever
ReplyDeleteIf they are giving it free in February they are giving away a PPV and NXT special for free.
ReplyDeleteThis is cool, Undertaker filmed his Daniel Bryan reaction from last night and uploaded a gif: http://i.imgur.com/UnJMkih.gif
ReplyDeleteObviously I don't mean what I said earlier, I'm just upset more than I was last year, but if Vince won't be forced into retirement, how do you stop the madness?
ReplyDeleteWas it one of those cauliflower pie crusts? Those are delicious.
ReplyDeleteAlso is it odd that Mania isn't sold out yet or no?
ReplyDeleteI hated it. Absolutely hated it.
ReplyDeleteNo, it says that I know they want Reigns vs. Lesnar as the main event. The World title main evented a bunch of Mania's. There's nothing wrong with two world titles if they treat them equally.
ReplyDeleteOTTO WANZ! OTTO WANZ did that! OTTO WANS!!!
ReplyDeleteYeah, it was pretty hilarious.
ReplyDeleteI think the thing I don't get is that people actually believed they WOULDN'T do what they did last night. It's been known for forever, and yet, here we are with the outrage as though this is a shocking turn of events.
http://www.gifwave.com/media/541030/wwe-wrestling-angry-the-undertaker_200s.gif
ReplyDeleteWell, Cleveland did that to its fans this year. Hoyer wasn't all that great, but the team was still in playoff contention and then they had the Johnny disaster because of ownership. Reports said the players didn't respect Manziel at all and rallied around Connor Shaw because he knew the playbook in the final week of the season (and Shaw played hurt and was pissing blood).
ReplyDeleteIt was some other kind of grain. The cauliflower crusts are pretty good, though. I'll make those from time to time. Usually I'll use corn tortillas if I'm in a rush.
ReplyDeleteBecause it was a really stupid thing to do.
ReplyDeleteBrilliant.
ReplyDeleteand the choices are no dq/street fight/no holds barred or Daniel Bryan/Zack/Ryder/titus o'neil
ReplyDeleteStill writes 37 paragraphs tho
ReplyDeleteGood, the more open sets the better.
ReplyDeleteYou can tell that the crowd really didn't like the New Day in the Pre Show match. When those guys came out as Rumble entrants the crowd was doubly vicious towards them.
ReplyDeleteIt's not odd, but sales should still be a bit stronger than they currently are. It's going to be a lonely road to Texas next year.
ReplyDeleteI think watching In Your House: St Valentine's Day Massacre tonight instead of RAW makes a whole lot of sense right now.
ReplyDeleteCould shareholders force Vince out of power? Is that in play?
ReplyDeleteI feel worse for Verne than Vince.
ReplyDeleteI laugh at that .gif because even I could kick down that conference room artificial door.
ReplyDeleteThis reminds me a lot of what I've read about network television execs, who continued time and time again to think that only they knew what was best, and that only campy sitcoms with four cameras and a lesson learned at the end were going to suffice.
ReplyDeleteAs a result of continuing to do that, there were fewer and fewer good and beloved shows, and ones that did make a go of it had to claw their way there.
And now, after years of refusing to adapt, the networks find themselves in all out panic mode, as niche cable networks, and on-demand services have been where people turn to.
I made the mistake of assuming competence on WWE's end. I shan't make that mistake again.
ReplyDeleteand they tried to get rex freaking grossman to be qb but he passed
ReplyDelete"Will it be a no-holds barred match? An anything goes match? Or a street fight?"
ReplyDeleteuh, wut....?
I'd like to see Vince make up his own rules for that, just like they do for everything else.
ReplyDeleteI don't think there will be a "YES! Movement" this year. I think the fans are overall sick and tired and don't want to go through having to put more effort into the booking than the company does. This year will be the "Indifference Movement" as in fans will be sitting there dead silent for most of the shows.
ReplyDeleteBitingly clever should be in quotations with a wink face and a /sarcasm denotation.
ReplyDeleteWhat I REALLY want to know is what Vince's plan is to sell out Dallas in 14 months. With another year of WCW 2000 booking they are going to be in god awful shape. Even a returning Austin ain't saving that show.
ReplyDeleteOr just refuse to go to the shows in general.
ReplyDeleteIn that case, they better find a different variety of different cheers to pop in.
ReplyDeleteIt will be real interesting to watch the stock price today. Mainstream outlets picking up on the subscription cancellation movement could cause a knee-jerk sell off.
ReplyDeleteI think Vince owns too many of a certain kind of stock that they can't do that. Shame.
ReplyDeleteExclusive footage of Bryan being eliminated last night if you missed it: http://i.imgur.com/Wp3Bhhj.gif
ReplyDeleteThe Mcmahon family own the majority of the stock,so no.
ReplyDeleteGuy's diatribes are longer than War & Peace but he forgets the Peace part. Andy PG would appreciate some brevity from Worst.
ReplyDeleteAfter dropping veiled hints for years that he'd consider coming back, Austin's last interview with Keller would suggest he's happier than ever with his reality TV schedule and sees no need to come back even if he is a hardcore fan.
ReplyDeleteI never stop laughing at this
ReplyDeleteI hated when Smackdown used to have that one cheer and one cheer only.
ReplyDeleteThey need to come up with an avatar to face Vince's at WrestleMania for control.
ReplyDeleteIn which case....this company is so screwed.
ReplyDeleteRock will fight....Austin will fight...Hogan will have some sort of temperpedic stretcher match. and it won't matter because Bryan is winning at mania and going on a year long golden age run before he and Rollins do hell in a cell at Mania in dallas
ReplyDeleteVince doesn't want a repeat of a previous storyline, meanwhile he'll have Undertaker have rematches TWICE and lazily redoes te Rock/Cena storyline the next year. lol, fuck off Vinnie.
ReplyDelete
