Man, this is a terrible couple of days for the WWE. They can't even do damage control tonight.
ReplyDeleteI hope they show the 1992 rumble match
ReplyDeleteVince is going to build a bitchin Reigns snow man tonight.
ReplyDeleteNo fans to boo. This is the perfect storm for Vince.
ReplyDeleteI hope they show last nights Rumble with Daniel Bryan edited out and the crowd cheering like crazy.
ReplyDeleteSo, is this good or bad? Does this give fans time to calm down and maybe get a decent reaction for Reigns next week?
ReplyDeleteAnd now a few days for Vince to avoid more of the huge fan backlash and spin Reigns more in plans. Even the weather is behind this guy.
ReplyDeleteEven Mother Nature thinks the booking is bad right now.
ReplyDeleteAww I was looking forward to Triple H trolling the fans to start the show.
ReplyDeleteThey're showing SOMETHING from Stamford. HHH can still troll us.
ReplyDeleteWelcome to the Roman Reigns Era!!!
ReplyDeleteWow! As a Canucklehead i can only imagine what kind of weather would lead to something this drastic.
Not nearly as fun without a live audience.
ReplyDelete2-3 feet of snow, with winds 50-60mph and as much as 3 inches per hour.
ReplyDeleteStay safe man.
ReplyDelete3 straight hours of Vince spinning his floppy old-man dick around "Bruno"-style.
ReplyDeleteStill crushes TNA in the ratings.
That's a shitty trade. Honored for smackdown only or refunds available? Product in general sucks but I'd be pissed if I spent money on the A product and getting the B show passed off instead
ReplyDeleteThanks. Im heading home now and am told not to come in tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great time to have the WWE Network!
ReplyDeleteI have a feeling it'll be RAW in the SD slot. It'll be an "A" show.
ReplyDeleteGod sure is pissed at last night's booking.
ReplyDeleteRAW opens up on Vince standing in an office
ReplyDeleteVince: "You fans have shit on my creation Roman Reigns! For this their must be punishment! So I am canceling RAW tonight! Instead you will get the One Night in Chyna sex tape, the Hogan sex tape and in the main event MY sex tape! But I am a fair and just man, if you take your medicine I won't fire Daniel Bryan. So enjoy this RAW and I swear if the ratings dip below 3.0 I will break Bryan's fucking kneecaps. If any of you boo Roman at all I will kill a superstar you love every week!"
*Monday Night Raw was taped in front of a live studio audience*
ReplyDeleteThat would actually be kind of awesome.
ReplyDeleteKind of like the Rumble 92 commentary edits.
ReplyDeleteThey shoulda just scrambled everyone onto planes to Orlando and used the NXT set at Full Sail for tonight's Raw.
ReplyDeleteWhat's hurting Reigns is that he hasn't shown to be patriotic yet. But him in a red white and blue vest and have him cut a promo about how 9/11 was bad.
ReplyDeleteLIVE FROM STAMFORD IT'S MONDAY NIGHT RAW
ReplyDeleteI don't want to see he and Shawn's 1995 sex tape.
ReplyDeleteWhat edits?
ReplyDeleteTHURSDAY RAW THURSDAY RETURNS!!
ReplyDeleteHope Vince allowed them to pre-tape tonight. I'd be pissed if I was snowed in Titan Tower for 2 days
ReplyDeleteTonight is "The best of Roman Reigns"and you'll LIKE it.
ReplyDeleteThree hours of RAW is too much. How do we feel about three hours of Tuesday Night Titans?
ReplyDeleteWhat will the other two hours and fifty-seven minutes of the show be?
ReplyDeleteMoon over Stamford bring my love to me tonight
ReplyDeletehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6N7WsGJ5468
The fans booing Hulk Hogan after he started crying over being cleanly eliminated by Sid.
ReplyDeleteCome on Heyman and Renee for a Prime Time remake! Or Dutch, whatever.
ReplyDeleteHhh promo!
ReplyDeleteAlso Monsoon was a lot harder on Sid after he dumped Hogan.
ReplyDeleteForgot about that Wrestlemania 30 Backstage Doc that they were promoting last night.
ReplyDeleteIt was supposed to go on the Network after Raw but that looks like a genuinely interesting hour long show to fill some time tonight.
Blessing in disguise for the WWE. They can put off the backlash of the crowd for another couple of days and try to figure out a way to do some heavy damage control.
ReplyDeleteTonight one RAW a 3 Hour commercial for the NETWORK!!
Which actually isn't a bad idea, if done right. Show a classic match or two, show a couple of longer clips from the original shows (rivalries, MNW, the vince podcast, ECW Exposed, DX Exposed (?), some old school fun- Tuesday Night Titans, ECW, WCW, WCCW...) have Renee Young host it. With the right spin it isn't bad.
Which means they'll keep it on the Network and barely mention it throughout the show tonight.
ReplyDeleteBecause WWE.
Well played, Curtis Axel:
ReplyDeletehttp://411mania.com/wrestling/curtis-axel-says-hes-the-uncrowned-royal-rumble-winner/
Heyman and Joey Styles.
ReplyDeleteImagine if they really want to lay it to us and tonight is a 3 Hour "Best of Roman Reigns Tribute Show"
ReplyDeleteIf there was a show tonight, Roman would squash him in somewhere around 90 seconds.
ReplyDeleteThe worst part of this (outside of people being hurt via the snowstorm) is that some fans will legitimately think WWE cancelled the show because they're scared of the post-Rumble reaction. Which will empower them to act even more bratty in the future.
ReplyDeleteOr....like paying customers.
ReplyDeleteYou can't possibly think last night was good.
Yeah, while vince sucks as an announcer and all, I liked the way he did that intro with the siren and all. You could tell he really felt passionately about it.
ReplyDeleteYou dumb.
ReplyDeleteMe and Renee. Not on tv
ReplyDeleteA Chyna sex tape is awesome?
ReplyDeleteMaybe THAT'S why X Pac came back. He's gonna do play by play.
I'm in NY too. Where are ya
ReplyDeleteThe show left a bad taste, but I wouldn't say it was bad show top to bottom. I don't get those fans who show up (or watch on TV) just to crap on the product and get no enjoyment out of it, and c'mon, anybody who's been following the product had to know there was a very good chance Reigns was winning. If you absolutely can't stand anyone but Bryan winning, why go?
ReplyDeleteYeah, people will think its last night and not the storm. If only there was some news coverage on it...
ReplyDeleteThank you. Gotta love fans being called petty or bratty when dealing with the fucking McMahons of all people.
ReplyDeleteOr even worse, a three hour tribute to Big Show.
ReplyDeleteIt was a fucking disgrace.
ReplyDeleteGive him the Lex Express....which will henceforth be known as the Reigns Train. And then let him do the 9/11 promo, with extra side of Stephanie going "You people don't know BAD! You all think 9/11 was horrible...but my FATHER was investigate by the federal government! I *KNOW* about tragedy!"
ReplyDeleteThe kid will be the most beloved babyface ever!----Vincent K. McMahon
Well, they never cancelled a show when Bryan was on top.
ReplyDeleteThree hours is not enough time to cover all of his face/heel turns.
ReplyDeleteGod is a huge D-Bryan fan. I thought this was known? Heh.
ReplyDeleteThis is a dumb post.
ReplyDeleteOne good match sandwiched between ones that ranged from mediocre to terrible. I think that the matches were so bad that it made the Triple Threat match look even better than it was.
ReplyDeleteTo the people this is a blessing in disguise. It's not. Post Rumble Raw is one of their biggest TV nights of the year. Doubly so because of the shit that happened last night.
ReplyDeleteEveryone knew Reigns was winning, that is the furthest thing from the point.
ReplyDeleteThe end result isn't always right, but I don't think the Rumble match itself is ever really bad -- too much interesting stuff going on. The Usos match was decent, the Cesaro-Kidd match was good, the Ascension was a squash. The only really bad match was the Divas match.
ReplyDeleteIt wasn't bad just because Bryan didn't win! He was shit on along with Ambrose and Ziggler, and it would've been fine with any of them winning, or Bray or Rusev. In other words anyone with any sort of connection with the fans. It wasn't just that Roman won, it's that it was so poorly done.
ReplyDeleteI'd rather hang myself than listen to Joey Styles on TV. Are things me and possibly Mike Awesome said.
ReplyDeleteThere was zero interesting things in the Rumble match. Everyone laid on the ground while Kane and Big Show punched people. It was awful.
ReplyDeleteBefore Ambrose and Ziggler even came out, and before Bray and Rusev were eliminated, the crowd was raining boos on the match. That was all about Bryan.
ReplyDeleteIf you knew Reigns was winning and you still booed him winning, than basically you went to the show intending to boo.
ReplyDeleteThey should bring in this Bullshit and Refund tag team. They had their name chanted all night last night.
ReplyDeleteYou are going out of your way to miss the point here, this is a pointless conversation.
ReplyDeleteIt fucking sucked. You boo shit that sucks. What is so fucking hard about comprehending that?
ReplyDeleteAnd when Ambrose, Ziggler and even Sandow came out they cheered hard. Also when it looked like Rusev might win.
ReplyDeleteAnd? Something happened I didn't like, let me sit here and applaud politely.
ReplyDeleteKane (24) and Big Show (29) were two of the later entrants. Before that you had Bubba's return, Bray's run, Rusev's run, Bryan's ... well, I wouldn't call it a "run" ... DDP's return, Kofi's spot, Mizdow's moment, Ryback's moment, Ambrose's run ... and depending on how much you like Reigns, you had Reigns. Just because the booking of the last 5-10 minutes sucked doesn't mean the whole thing sucked.
ReplyDeleteIf you knew the sucky thing was going to happen beforehand (responding to the claim that everyone knew Reigns was going to win), why did you go? If your local NBA/NFL/MLB team sucks and you don't like stuff that sucks, why go to their games?
ReplyDeleteNo, just the part about Vince doing an opening.
ReplyDeleteBubba did nothing, Bray had literally the worst Diesel spot of all time, DDP sucked, Kofi's spot sucked so hard we all called it when Rose was first called up, they fucked up booking Miz and Mizdow, lol Ryback had a moment?, Ambrose didn't do shit, and no one likes Reigns.
ReplyDeleteFucking awesome Royal Rumble.
I dunno, maybe because I'm a football fan. I'm weird like that.
ReplyDeleteThe Reigns Train, hahaha, I love it.
ReplyDeleteOK, so you pay to see 3 hours of football. And you get 3 hours of football. Are you then gonna ask for a refund because the game wasn't as good as you thought, or because the team you wanted to win didn't win?
ReplyDeleteSet up a ring in the studio and do an a old school JCP/GCW/Mid-South show with unscripted promos before each match!
ReplyDeleteThey'd probably be better off taking Indy bookings and working Japan.
ReplyDeleteWe all saw what happened last night, but the WWE must focus group the shit out of things, and Reigns must get a positive reaction through those things, right? There's no way this is all just Vince picking a boy he likes and making him his future, is it?
ReplyDeleteThis is God's rage upon the WWE!
ReplyDeleteYahweh's will is to push Daniel Bryan!
Neither. But I'm gonna bitch about it if it sucked.
ReplyDeleteGive him something to do and have him hound the fuck out of the Authority for a shot at Reigns.
ReplyDeleteLOL at WWE claiming to not be a wrestling company while having to turn their flagship show into Georgia Championship Wrestling tonight.
ReplyDeleteThis whole if you don't like the outcome, don't watch argument needs to go. Do you stop watching movies if you watch a shitty one?
ReplyDeleteAnd watch that crowd shit all over the product too.
ReplyDeleteHe apparently just listened to "Whoomp There It Is" for the first time yesterday, so my best guess is maybe he's just getting to Survivor Series 2013 in his wrestling viewing these days?
ReplyDeleteAll praise be to Allah!
ReplyDeleteYes, it is. The focus group nonsense they spew is bullshit.
ReplyDeleteNow I'm much more interested in RAW. A studio show is the sort of shakeup needed.
ReplyDeleteI still can't believe R-Truth busted that out.
ReplyDeleteIf done right, it could be epic. But I have no faith in this.
ReplyDeleteIt's such a dull, conversation-killing argument
ReplyDeleteMaybe we will get an impromptu Flair/Steamboat match with Crockett and Schiavone doing PBP.
ReplyDeleteI'm curious about a RAW for the first time since the post-Wrestlemania show, if nothing else.
ReplyDeleteWe're likely getting lame panels and highlights, but I'd be interested if they tried something different. Hell, I'd be interested if they fulfilled Vinny Ru's dream of having a wrestling show without a ring.
ReplyDelete3 hour HHH podcast with Austin, do it
ReplyDeleteIf they really want to stir some shit up, have Triple H announce the main event for Fast Lane, Brock vs Bryan, title vs career.
ReplyDelete"Hello everyone I'm Lance Russell here with Dave Brown ready to bring you an exciting Monday night of action"
ReplyDeleteI like how the teaser on their site is literally them just saying "who's going to make it to the show and who was trapped by the blizzard? Tune in to find out!"
ReplyDeleteWow, best thing that could have happened to them!
ReplyDeleteOh god I hope they pull out the old Prime Time studio
ReplyDeleteI do stop watching that particular movie if it's shit yes. If I hate a TV show (wrestling show) say mike and molly (wwe raw) I don't watch it anymore. It doesn't mean I no longer watch sitcoms (or wrestling) just the program I dislike.
ReplyDeleteI hope they pull out the old Gorilla Monsoon!
ReplyDeleteThey probably don't even know.
ReplyDeleteWILLYOU STOP???
ReplyDeleteThey have him stored in mothballs?
ReplyDeleteFitness videos. Prep yourselves.
ReplyDeleteWeekend At Gino's.
ReplyDeleteYou don't seem to like 95% of the people here. Why do you keep posting here?
ReplyDeleteI answered his question. Thanks for telling me I don't like people though. I just think that one dude wishing death on vince is nuts. And that worst in the world dude too.
ReplyDelete$10 says they re-air Schwarzenegger's 1999 appearance on Smackdown and 2014 appearance on RAW just to fill time.
ReplyDeleteYou do nothing but attack people on here and you STILL managed to play the victim card. Impressive. Keep being you.
ReplyDeleteI hope it's only Ryder, Sin Cara, and Alicia Fox.
ReplyDeleteI would stop watching movies made by that director or starring that actor, yes, absolutely
ReplyDeleteEvery match is it's own TV show/Movie, if I don't like the one I just saw, I'm moving on to the next one.
ReplyDeleteHuh? No, this is a stupid thing to say
ReplyDeleteBecause I thought D-Bry might win. Plus, it's the Rumble
ReplyDeleteI didn't think Reigns was going to win
ReplyDeleteNot really disproving my point. Wrestling, or WWE in this case, isn't the same actor over and over again.
ReplyDeleteBecause I'm a Nets fan and I like seeing live basketball?
ReplyDeleteNo
ReplyDeleteAvoid wasting anything on fake sites, make up to $300 dollar daily how it is possible.now We are Providing the best way of Online E@rning from home...click.this site,Welcome to visit this website::::::::::::https://HomeJobAcademy.biz....
ReplyDeleteDo you use a pay pal. because if you do you can add an extra 550 every week to your pay only working from home for a few hours a week... see►►►►►->http:SEE MOOR NOW takes only a few mins ..
ReplyDeleteAs long as they can intersperse it with a satellite feed of Reigns watching tapes and giving the occasional medical update on his busted lip.
ReplyDeleteIsn't it an ongoing series? I thought they'd cover a few different topics in depth like Taker's loss and Bryan / Connor the Crusher.
ReplyDeleteAre you saying D-Bry's run in the Rumble was a positive?
ReplyDeleteWhat was Ambrose's "run"?
Mizdow lasted 30 seconds.
The Rumble sucked
You can watch other wrestling besides WWE.
ReplyDeleteHe is a crazy person.
ReplyDelete...who fails to see the irony in his own complaints
ReplyDeleteIt should be the wrestling equivalent of Joel Schumaker's director's commentary on Batman & Robin where he apologizes a zillion times for making such a shitty movie. Vince should open and say that due to controversy -- Curtis Axel wasn't eliminated -- we're redoing the Rumble in our HQ. Have Bryan win the damn thing -- fans happy.
ReplyDeleteI didn't attack anyone. You're jumping on me for disagreeing with dudes analogy. Keep trolling. Maybe you can start making new accounts like that other dude was doing to tell me I'm wrong too!
ReplyDeleteThey could head over to Epcot and round up 400 non-English speaking tourists to fill the audience.
ReplyDeleteBut you're still watching the whole thing? I have turned off many movies because they sucked. TV shows too.
ReplyDeleteYou were just talking about how fucked up it was that you went to Philly to see all of it. Are you just arguing to argue?
ReplyDeleteOk. It's not just about WWE but all of wrestling. You can bitch about shit you don't like.
ReplyDeleteI'm playing Devil's Advocate.
ReplyDeleteYes. But I do think there comes a point where people seem to get no enjoyment out of WWE that it makes me wonder why they even bother
ReplyDeleteI'd respect WWE a lot more if they just went balls to the wall and had Reigns cut a 3-hour promo tonight.
ReplyDeleteI watched two matches from last night, so no, I'm not watching the whole thing.
ReplyDeleteHow about a 3 hour 30 Rock parody for tonight from Titan Tower with Hunter as Jack, Steph as Liz, Vince as Don Geiss, Cena as Tracy, The Bellas as Jenna, Reigns as Danny, and Bryan as Kenneth. Judah Friedlander would make it there by hell or highwater to play Frank.
ReplyDeleteOnly if Vince scripts it or whatever formula they've been using. Then, we're talking sublime unintentional comedy.
ReplyDeleteHell, throw in Brie to act opposite him for Emmy-worthy moments.
Hell, have Reigns steal Brie from Bryan, too.
Interesting report from WrestleZone about Bryan's behavior after being eliminated:
ReplyDeletehttp://www.wrestlezone.com/news/546731-daniel-bryan-strange-royal-rumble-behavior
Because they do put out shit like that triple threat match, or a random kick ass TV match. I'm a wrestling fan, I'm gonna watch wrestling. On Mondays, because I'm an adult and ain't nobody got time for indies.
ReplyDeleteHow many Looney Tunes references can you squeeze into 3 hours?
ReplyDeleteBut when I read people go, oh well WWE is gonna fuck it up like they always do, why are you wasting your time?
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, I was at the Rumble and hated it
"And when I was eight years old, my uncle Afa told me that one day I could continue the Anoa'i family lineage..."
ReplyDeleteWhile The Rock got some less-than-great reactions in the lead up to Cena match two years ago, that has to be the first time Rock was unintentionally booed by fans since 1997.
ReplyDeleteBryan's a pro - I'd imagine he's just selling. It's not like it was little kids he was walking by.
ReplyDeleteThat's more storyline based. I'm talking the actual matches. That's why I watch and that's where the real storylines are.
ReplyDeleteIt's not like his elimination was a shoot
ReplyDeleteStill though, you're actively watching something you dislike. I'm just giving you a reason for the argument not trying to paint you in a bad light.
ReplyDeleteHell, just give him sheets of paper to read right on camera telling the fans to fuck off. The Reigns Manifesto. I'll buy the alcohol.
ReplyDeleteThe majority of that is posturing anyway. It's just bar hall bravado/BS or a chance to make a WWE joke.
ReplyDeleteMaybe they can show a Royal Rumble 2015 tribute show instead? Open with the entire roster standing on the ramp, toll the bell and Vince McMahon can announce the sad passing of sensible booking?
ReplyDeleteI think we're talking about two different things. I'm talking the wrestling genre as a whole. You're talking about the brand of wrestling that WWE produces.
ReplyDeleteNo I'm not. I like wrestling. I fucking love it.
ReplyDeleteBut not wwe?
ReplyDeleteNo, but I imagine him just being super-pissed at the situation and not wanting to deal with fans.
ReplyDeleteI'm still angry over last night, I can't believe the level of contempt that WWE has towards it's own fans and paying customers.
ReplyDeleteIt was a beautiful piece of trolling. At some point, I started to admire it.
ReplyDeleteWWE is awful. I watch Raw as background noise if at all. But I have the Network so I watched the Rumble.
ReplyDeleteBryan has re-iterated plenty of times that he's not fussed about this kind of thing, and I've got a feeling he's telling the truth
ReplyDeleteJust not breaking kayfabe before the curtain. Good on him.
ReplyDeleteI don't even think they are trolling.
ReplyDeleteIf WWE doesn't pay attention to anything else, they'll pay attention to that #CancelWWENetwork hashtag that was trending earlier today. So I wouldn't be surprised if Reigns-Lesnar is changed to something else before WrestleMania.
ReplyDeleteNow they have some extra time to think of a way to book themselves out of this, if they choose. How would you handle it?
Open to RAW tonight, medium shot on Vince:
ReplyDelete"Good evening, ladies and gentlemen. Last night
on Royal Rumble, the WWE presented a special show, recognizing the rise
of Roman Reigns. However, now some 26 hours later, the facts of this
horrific
tragedy are now apparent. Therefore, other than my comments, there will
be no mention of Mr. Reigns' name tonight. On the contrary, tonight's
show will be dedicated to everyone who has been affected by this
terrible incident. This evening marks the first step of the healing
process. Tonight, WWE performers will do what they do better than anyone
else in the world: entertain you."
"– Daniel Bryan is likely going to fight Sheamus (at WrestleMania 31), which was the original plan for last year before plans were changed."
ReplyDeleteBWA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA. God. The stupidity.
Brock destroys Reigns before 31. Reigns takes a vacation until after 31. Brock/Bryan at 31.
ReplyDeleteI just don't see it happening this year. We're getting Lesnar/Reigns at Mania. It might go on mid-show like Punk-Jericho or Flair-Savage, but it's not going to go on last.
ReplyDeleteThat reminds me of the time Ken Shamrock and Steve Blackman had a match in the middle of a circle of cars in a parking lot.
ReplyDeleteWe only got 18 seconds of it before so it doesn't count as a Wrestlemania repeat, right? RIGHT?!
ReplyDeleteAnd WWE will make it the opener so fans "get their Bryan chants out" early, like they tried last night at the Rumble.
ReplyDeleteIt's actually a threepeat. They had a lumberjack match on the preshow of Mania 27.
ReplyDeleteSo I'm reading a report that Bryan is acting strangely? Maybe he'll quit.
ReplyDeleteThe Bryan/Sheamus WrestleMania thing is my favorite running gag.
ReplyDeleteIt's not trolling if you're actually doing it. I'd say the Wrestlemania B+ player build up from last year was trolling. This is just absolute commitment to doing whatever they want.
ReplyDeleteand Sheamus will win because that's a "twist ending" to what you would expect after the 18 second match.
ReplyDeleteDean plays Subhas, obviously.
ReplyDeleteOh god, I forgot about that.
ReplyDeleteWILL YOU STOP?!
ReplyDeleteANYTHING CAN HAPPEN IN THE WWE MAGGLE
ReplyDeleteIt would be the third WrestleMania trilogy after Austin/Rock and Undertaker/Triple H!
ReplyDeleteA fourpeat if you count the aborted match last year.
ReplyDeleteGot to Japan Bryan, join the Bullet Club!
ReplyDeleteYup. Bryan will lose in like an eight minute match and will be MIA for the rest of the event.
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like he was just selling the shock over being eliminated.
ReplyDeleteBy "strangely" he was just being pissed/unhappy after his early elimination. That seems like normal behavior for a wrestler in his position being denied a spot he and the fans feel he deserves, both kayfabe and shoot.
ReplyDelete"Pray I do not alter it further.
ReplyDeleteReally? But can I get $9.99?
ReplyDeleteHundreds of millions of dollars lost. A year of sellout shows, huge TV ratings and massive PPV buyrates. Endless merchandising.
ReplyDeleteExactly. For instance, Cena didn't win the belt at WM20, they gave him a year.
ReplyDeleteGodknows showcasing the Rumble as what you get for $9,99 wouldn't work.
ReplyDelete
