Eve'nin.
ReplyDeleteOooh, the Hogan DVD is matches only, isn't it?
ReplyDeletewasn't there a ufc fight night last week with the irish guy?
ReplyDeleteSo, question: Who would be the most disappointing winner for tomorrow night's Royal Rumble, out of the actual list of people who could conceivably win it (Reigns, Bryan, Orton, Ambrose, Ziggler, Wyatt, Rusev, etc.)?
ReplyDeleteHolla! holla!! Saint Clair got much to offer.
ReplyDeleteOrton would probably be the most disappointing for me.
ReplyDeleteWyatt
ReplyDeleteYeah. Now you can watch a Swedish guy fight. In the UFC's defense last week was one of their hottest lower weight fighters, tonight Gustaffson is fighting and he's the next challenger to Jones. So at least they are running some interesting fights.
ReplyDeletekane or big show
ReplyDeleteWyatt
ReplyDeletedon't know who any of those guys are
ReplyDeleteChris Nowiski, loved that gimmick
ReplyDeleteI went from thinking I lost my chance with this chick with this "out of my league" stuff, to her talking about being submissive to me. This is crazy.
ReplyDeleteOrton. Huge fan but I want new blood to win the Rumble this year. Plus Orton can comeback hot for a program with Rollins at Mania anyways. He doesn't need the Rumble win.
ReplyDeleteWell get this taken care of STAT
ReplyDeletePounce before she changes her mind again.
ReplyDeleteAnyone here watching UFC tonight.
ReplyDeleteHave you ever actually MET this chick in person?
ReplyDeleteBars for my buddy's birthday.
ReplyDeleteMaybe the main event. Might watch. Depends if Marv shows to watch last year's rumble.
ReplyDeleteThey should have Big Show and Kane be co-winners of the Rumble for being good company men.
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday to him.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Orton, with Reigns being second.
ReplyDeleteBryan or Ziggler would be my top 2 picks.
And let them main event WM, NO!
ReplyDeleteNice man. Have a good time. Be safe out there. And if you get into a bar fight make sure you COCK THAT FIST Juggernaut!
ReplyDeleteIt will more than likely be edited down into a 2 hour version. The set was 3 discs.
ReplyDeleteWas listening to the ptbn podcast with scott keith. One thing that intrigued me is when people went to wcw or wwf from the other fed, it instantly felt fresh.
ReplyDeleteWhy not have a guy like cesaro go to NXT and start a feud with Sami for about 6 months. It would keep him fresh and would be something different.
I'd be curious about an Orton-Wyatt feud.
ReplyDeleteHahahaha! They did that!
ReplyDeleteCesaro and Zayn already feuded in NXT. But I get what you mean and I agree.
ReplyDeleteI'll make sure to do the loud Neanderthal scream as well!
ReplyDeletenot for the title
ReplyDeleteSuccessfully too. Their matches ruled.
ReplyDeleteWyatt vs Coked up Orton might be gold.
ReplyDeleteTell the guy he's full of suffering succatash SON.
ReplyDeleteWill DDP be able to use his awesome Nirvana rip off theme music he had in WCW if he's in the Rumble? I notice they dub over it now in new DVD releases. I'd really like to hear "Self high five!" one more time.
ReplyDeleteGreat matches. Didn't help Cesaro at all.
ReplyDeleteBold prediction: John Cena wins the World Heavyweight Championship tomorrow night, and Rusev wins the Royal Rumble, setting up a World Heavyweight v. U.S. Champion showdown in the main event. Brock would then face Bryan, and we'd get a Shield triple-threat.
ReplyDeletelel
I'd like to see it.
ReplyDeleteCesaro could easily say, "Sami I beat you many times in nxt but now I want to take your title and really destroy you."
ReplyDeleteI think that's what gave him so much momentum going in to Mania last year, before they blew it.
ReplyDeleteWaiting for Edna to head to work before I start Rumble 14, watching Sherman interception highlights in the mean time...shit takes hours
ReplyDelete2016 World Cup of Hockey with Canada,USA,Russia,Sweden,Finland,Czech Republic...and a Team Europe filled with players from other Euro Countries?
ReplyDeleteAnd a Under-23 Junior North American team? Forcing the young stars to compete against their own nations.
Brilliant stuff as usual Gary Bettman.
Tell Edna to split. We got things to do dammit.
ReplyDeletemaybe it will be a title unification match
ReplyDeleteNice to see Stern's Plant staying busy these days.
ReplyDeleteI would like that, only problem is I think Owens takes Zayn's title pretty soon.
ReplyDeleteMore like a 'Get Biff Not to Watch WrestleMania' match.
ReplyDeletethat's racist: no asian or african or latin american countries
ReplyDeleteI could safely go to bed before the Mania main event that way...
ReplyDeleteI sense Phil Davis getting KO'd by Bader.
ReplyDeleteOoh, I hope Hogan does the axe bomber!
ReplyDeleteCall me crazy but I think a Cena/Rusev match and storyline could be good. Not for the World Title at WrestleMania. But any other PPV absolutey.
ReplyDeleteWyatt would be the worst, with Orton a close second. He won't, but I wish Ambrose would win. If Brock wins it would set up and nice Rocky type underdog story for WM. Or, if Seth wins, it could lead to the ending their feud deserved
ReplyDeleteyou're crazy
ReplyDeleteI could see it.
ReplyDeleteWhen Vince gets desperate he double downs on Cena, i can't imagine him fucking around in a mid-card match for 2 years in a row.
Alright I asked for that.
ReplyDeleteWhat to do after Royal Rumble 1992? I'm thinking a combination of Gotham, Brooklyn 99 and other TV shows I need to catch up on. Either that or the two Captain America movies.
ReplyDeleteHow far along into 99 are you?
ReplyDeleteI was thinking about baseball teams greatest living player- since Ernie Banks died, who is it for the cubs now? Sandberg? Billy Williams?
ReplyDeleteHey, Virgil just came in to the match, and Heenan DIDN'T say "That's not fair to Flair!" Another disappointing job by Masked Man!
ReplyDeleteJohn Cena and Rusev coming out the big winners tomorrow night would be the most morbidly depressing ending I could think of, with Cena and Reigns a close second.
ReplyDeleteTalent being on the roster for years upon years is definitely a major problem with todays product.
ReplyDeleteOne of these days someone needs to go through the active roster with a X amount of years under contract next to their names list.
SNL featuring Blake Shelton tonight. I'll be watching.
ReplyDeleteSandberg.
ReplyDeleteI really hate my union. We demanded a 17.6% raise then to 10 then 9 and now 8.5% in 4 months. My district went from a 2 to 4% raise. Great negotiating guys.
ReplyDeleteSandberg.
ReplyDeletewho is the main host
ReplyDeletesammy sosa
ReplyDeleteI missed last week's episode. Otherwise caught up. I binged through it pretty fast because it's awesome.
ReplyDeleteI just got into S6 of Psych and need to rewatch Last Night Gus, one of my favorite episodes.
Blake Shelton. Host and Musical Guest.
ReplyDeletegreg maddox
ReplyDeleteDon't get me started, my jackasses gave up any HSA contributions and agreed to a wage freeze. Useless
ReplyDeleteDid you make it all the way through the article?
ReplyDeleteDENTAL PLAN!
ReplyDeleteHis best years were in Atlanta.
ReplyDeleteSandberg.
ReplyDeleteFuckers change the dental plan at least once a year too, fuckers
ReplyDelete17.6 percent raise sounds like a lot. The union my gf is in just negotiated a new contract with a 4 percent raise this year, 2.25 percent next year and 2 the year after that, with a $1,000 bonus to all employees. The 4 percent is retroactive to when she started, because they've been without a contract since July.
ReplyDeleteWe be getting new furniture with the windfall!
it's scary to think some of these guys have had a longer wwe career than people like dibiase, jake, hbk, etc.
ReplyDeleteJust one more until Diaz gets his head smashed by Anderson Silva.
ReplyDeletelisa needs braces
ReplyDeleteOh damn son. Get on that.
ReplyDeletewe haven't had a raise in 7-8 years and had furlough days just a few years ago
ReplyDeleteNope, I try not to waste my time on things that will annoy me. That article was annoying me.
ReplyDeleteSeven or eight years? I take it back, 17.6 percent sounds perfectly reasonable. Fuckers.
ReplyDeleteJust checked out the version of Hogan Unreleased that the Network is showing on the live stream tonight. They have some early heel Hogan managed by Freddie Blassie, including a match with babyface Andre the Giant. There's an early match with Randy Savage from 85-86, a match with Kamala, a match with The One Man Gang, a match where he teams with Bam Bam Bigelow against DiBiase and Virgil, and the match with Triple H where he wins the title in '02.
ReplyDeleteIf he dies, he dies.
ReplyDeleteThere wasn't an episode last week because of the Championship Games. So you are all caught up indeed!
ReplyDeleteLast Night Gus is amazing. Season 6 is one of my favorite Psych Seasons.
Any AWA stuff with Bockwinkle?
ReplyDeleteFinish him....slowly. Damn, I hate the Diaz brothers, like I hate Sonnen and McGregor.
ReplyDeleteyeah because of the stupid economy nosedive
ReplyDeletewe just spent over 1 billion on ipads, 170 million to settle a lawsuit because a teacher did some naughty things to students, and 125 million on a new computer program that wasn't needed and never tested before we got them
Had a phone interview with a law firm that needs a editorial/social media manager. The guy called 30 minutes late, but I think I nailed the interview. Fingers crossed...
ReplyDeleteI like your style Kid.
ReplyDeleteAll 4 of those guys need to come down with a bad case of Aids.
great episode
ReplyDeleteNo, there is not. Which reminds me that there is a considerable lack of AWA stuff on the Network. All they have is the Spectacular Legacy DVD, and that's the doc only portion.
ReplyDelete... and now I know what I'm watching this evening.
ReplyDeleteUnions. Hannah shah
ReplyDeleteBah, I know there's a Bock/Heenan v. Hogan match on the DVD version. Wish they would show that.
ReplyDeleteThere's one thing you say "I'm the best because of X factor and yadda yadda", these guys got their title shots due their trash talking, not their skill.
ReplyDelete170 MILLION??? WOW. ....not on that scale but mine (this is going back maybe 8 or 9 years) had a useless administrator spend 250K on a data monitoring system, never told anyone it was bought and had the contract expire before ever using it
ReplyDeleteGood. Sometimes trash talking brings excitement. There was little excitement over Aldo's next title defense until McGregor came along and shook everything up.
ReplyDeleteEven UFC needs their heels. I just wanna see Aldo kill him, and he will.
ReplyDeleteIf he dies, he dies.
2003 Heel John Cena getting a better reaction than he does now
ReplyDeleteFor the Red Sox, would it be Fisk or Clemens?
ReplyDeleteThe NHL All-Star skills comp leaves the home run derby in the dust.
ReplyDeleteWell maybe not HBK.
ReplyDeleteBut guys like Dolph,Kofi,Swagger etc?
I'd bet the median average would be over 5 years plus in WWE for the ENTIRE active roster.
"In sworn testimony, a Torrance police sergeant said he called the school’s principal Nov. 18, 2011, and described 48 pictures of children with tape over their mouths, blindfolded, posed with Berndt and, in some, ingesting a substance later identified as semen, according to transcripts.
ReplyDeleteThe photos had caught the attention of a CVS employee, who called police after Berndt dropped them off to be developed."
People compare him to Roman, Cena was way better in the ring at that time.
ReplyDeleteThe NFL should do skills competitions for the Pro Bowl instead of playing the game. If they do the game, it should just be flag football or something casual.
ReplyDeleteThey tried one a few years ago. I remember Kevin Greene participating. But it wasn't very good.
ReplyDelete....uh, I take that back, 170 million seems kinda low
ReplyDeleteNo hockey on the schedule tonight, and I never explored the reason why.
ReplyDeletepedro martinez
ReplyDeleteapparently he did this for years so settlement is going to at least 100+ kids
ReplyDeleteWell they don't need to put retired dudes in it.
ReplyDeleteAnd that being was allowed to live?
ReplyDeleteFuck that, vigilante style hanging at noon.
My first job was walking a picket line and occasionally keying cars that belonged to people who crossed the picket line and were snotty about it.
ReplyDeleteVery satisfying work for a 13 year old
he's in jail for 25 years to life; he's old (early 60s)
ReplyDeleteFollowed by target practice at 12:00:15, just in case he's still alive. Bring Your Own Gun.
ReplyDeleteThis was while he was still a member of the Panthers.
ReplyDeleteAll-Star Weekend.
ReplyDeleteI legit have no idea what the concept for the All-Star game even is anymore. It's not Western vs Eastern Conference anymore.
I think it's just a random drafting of the All-Stars which sounds like the absolute pits.
Ah. I never really watch the Pro Bowl since its a joke.
ReplyDeleteI hate that "he's too old for jail" bullshit. Edwin Edwards should have rotted away in jail, instead of being allowed to run for a House seat last November.
ReplyDeleteYour lucky your boss doesn't decide you're all independent contractors, because that's apparently legal
ReplyDeleteStupid fucking moron.
ReplyDeletewe had a strike in 1989 and people who crossed the line lost a lot of friends that day. People wouldn't speak to them for years (like 10-15 years later).
ReplyDeletePro Bowl is the absolute worst.
ReplyDeleteHow do you even play football at quarter speed?
Hockey & Basketball can at least really hot dog it up but what are Offensive & D Lines supposed to do during the Pro Bowl?
I broke up with a girl once because she crossed a picket line instead of driving two miles to another grocery store
ReplyDeleteThe lack of American star power in tennis is really hurting the sport. I look at the Australian Open bracket and I have no idea who 90% of these people even are.
ReplyDeleteMy school district also went on strike in 1989. One whole quarter spent with low attendance (of course, I was one of the few missing no days. Thanks parents. :) ), and sub teachers galore.
ReplyDeleteAlex Ovechkin with the first strike-out in the history of hockey.
ReplyDeleteSeven on Seven flag football. Name O and D lines, but they get to mostly watch from the sidelines.
ReplyDeleteYep. Johnathan Toews and Nick Foligno are the team "captains".
ReplyDeleteHopefully this is a one-time thing, and next year we go back to good ole East vs West.
I'd also accept N. America vs World.
ReplyDeletehe also masturbated in front of the kids too.
ReplyDeleteReason why district has to pay is because the administrators didn't do that much to protect the students. he supposedly did stuff like this for 30 years and kids told counselors/administrators who didn't do anything.
Didn't they do this last year, though?
ReplyDeleteIf you can't even play under the rules of the game, why bother?
ReplyDeleteBut hey money is money i suppose.
pro bowl does same thing
ReplyDeleteIf they did, I have no memory.
ReplyDeleteCampbell v Wales or GTFO.
ReplyDeleteI only think they did because I remember Phil Kessel was picked last.
ReplyDeleteEh, is that new though? Even Connors/McEnroe, Agassi/Sampras/MAYBE Courier. Though I can't even name one now. Is Roddick still playing?
ReplyDeleteThis is the third time they've done it.
ReplyDelete... oh well, hang those worthless lumps of flesh also. More target practice is never bad.
ReplyDeletehttp://www.dailynews.com/general-news/20141121/lausd-to-pay-1392-million-in-miramonte-sex-abuse-settlement
ReplyDeleteBest of luck, man. I hope it works out for ya!
ReplyDeleteCaught Lucha Underground. Giving Cage a sit down interview is a great way for us to get to know his character. Good thing WWE doesn't do it
ReplyDeleteDamn. Tells you how long since I cared about NHL's All Star Game. The weekend's fine, the game's eh.
ReplyDeleteserena? venus?
ReplyDeleteThe NHL game is the worst. It's exposed by there being an actual All-Star tournament every four years. (Two years soon.)
ReplyDeleteI'm still in shock, how can Vince not hire this guy again?
ReplyDeleteThe game sucks. Skills comp is great.
ReplyDeleteRoddick has been retired for a few years.
ReplyDeleteI used to know a lot of stars in the Sampras era: he, Agassi, Michael Chang, Patrick Rafter, Jim Courier, Boris Becker, etc. Also used to know a lot more of the women players. Now, though? I just know of Nadal, the Serbian dude, and Federer. Women's side I just know about Sharapova and the Williams sisters.
That's saying there HAS to be a Pro Bowl "game". I'm all for naming teams and letting it stop there.
ReplyDeleteOh, I thought we were talking about sports
ReplyDelete(ducks)
Williams sisters are still competitive which speaks volumes about the quality of women's tennis nowadays.
ReplyDeleteEugenie Bouchard Mania is running wild up here but lets face it it's cause she's hot.
Only 7 hours of content a week to fill, where would they find the time?
ReplyDeleteHuh, Becker was American? For some reason had him in my mind with Lendyl(sp?) as euros
ReplyDeleteDENTAL PLAN!
ReplyDeleteHa, that's true. Venus Williams is in the damn fourth round of the Australian and she hasn't done much of note for the last few years.
ReplyDeleteWe need "comedy".
ReplyDeleteOh, I was just mentioning tennis stars I knew, not necessarily that they were American. However, I paid more attention to the sport since I got roped in my the American talent like Sampras, Chang, and Agassi.
ReplyDeleteDr.Evil in the Austin Powers films is way funnier than Austin himself.
ReplyDeleteFergie Jenkins
ReplyDeleteCarl Yaztremski.
ReplyDeleteBock would be great for a series of "know your legends" half-hours where younger fans are introduced to the stars of yesteryear.
ReplyDeleteHave you ever imagined what Ric Flair would be without being high on cocaine? That's Nick Bockwinkel.
Ah, no problem. It's kinda like soccer in that regard, without a strong US presence, it just doesn't get the coverage here. Might have been Connors last big US Open run that got me interested back in the day then got a kick out of Agassi. Shame Sampras was like watching paint dry
ReplyDeleteBoris Becker's German and Ivan Lendl is a Czech.
ReplyDeleteThose films have aged horribly.
ReplyDeletethen god bless cocaine
ReplyDeleteone film that has aged badly: the hangover
ReplyDeleteCretinous humanoids abound here!
ReplyDeleteDoes it matter? Who watches anything except for the inevitable Djokovic/Nadal/Federer final?
ReplyDeleteI didn't see the Aussie, but all of the men's Grand Slam title games I DID see last year were great.
They did a feature on him for Shorties and Legends on 24/7, why can't they do that kind of stuff on the Network?
ReplyDeleteOh absolutely, i mean is there an All-American game for College players?
ReplyDeleteMortal Kombat.
ReplyDeleteI mean that would require... uh, uploading what they've already done. Way too hard.
ReplyDeleteStanley Cup Champ vs All-Stars.
ReplyDeleteJust like the really old days.
He's like Dory Funk - I can see that he's good at what he does, but it's too dull and slow to sit through their matches
ReplyDelete2:00 AM in Sweden and they're just STARTING the main card!
ReplyDeleteLOL.
Didn't laugh once. Never understood why people flocked to it.
ReplyDeleteBitches love Gustaffson.
ReplyDeletesaw it on opening weekend with a huge crowd and laughed tons of times; saw it on tv couple years later, laughed a few times; saw it on tv few months ago, didn't laugh once
ReplyDeleteHmmm... UFC or Figure Skating?
ReplyDeleteI blame the equipment. Men's tennis is way too heavy on aces and service winners. It's the natural evolution of the howitzers they swing. I love the French because it slows down the ball.
ReplyDeleteMaybe I speak for me, but it sucks when those three guys rotate out of most of the finals.
ReplyDeletemale or female ufc or figure skating
ReplyDeletePhil Davis will make his perfomance in Mr. Wonderful in Wonderland.
ReplyDeleteRoyal Crown Cola.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I agree. That was one reason Michael Chang never really won after his French win. His style of "hit at back at you until you vomit running all over the place" was eroded by technology.
ReplyDeleteyeah it's like how kane, show, cena and orton are always in the main event
ReplyDeleteI still find Dr. Evil funny. Everything else in the films... not so much. (OK, Liz Hurley aside.)
ReplyDeleteTrue. Like in the 1990s, yes, Sampras and Aggasi won a bunch, but at least they faced different finalists most of the time. Gave you some unique games.
ReplyDeleteI remember him getting hurt a lot as well. He wasn't a big guy either, in the era before guys were lifting regularly.
ReplyDeletezach had some good lines.
ReplyDeleteHe's sorta dropped off the radar hasn't he? A couple of years ago he was everywhere
He looks more like a skater than fighter... so dainty.
ReplyDeleteTrue. I always liked Chang, but he did have injury issues that also hobbled his career.
ReplyDeleteThe Naked Gun movies are like that too
ReplyDeleteMale and female UFC (HUGE card in Stockholm)... female figure skating.
ReplyDelete
