So for anyone who doesn't know yet, if you already have a WWE Network account in Canada, you no longer need DNS changers or Hola or whatever to access it. With the Rogers deal now finalized, they have unblocked it for Canada, assuming you already have credentials. You still need either Canadian Rogers account or a fake US billing account to actually get access, but once you do it's available without Unblock-US or whatever. Which means I can now watch on my iPad or phone outside my house! I'm still using Unblock-US for Netflix and Hulu, but it's nice to have more options for the Network now.
Only got time to watch one more Royal Rumble before Sunday's PPV. which is the most memorable? 2011, 2012 or 2013?
ReplyDelete2012 is terrible, 11 or 13 for sure
ReplyDeleteI"m doing 2014 here in about two hours
Are we suddenly taking the moral high ground here?
ReplyDeleteIn honor of this I demand you review "Canada's Strongest Man: The Ultimate Dino Bravo Collection"
ReplyDelete2012 is pretty memorable, especially if you have strong feelings one way or the other about WWE's "sense of humour".
ReplyDeleteThere's no way the 2004 Rumble isn't the best Rumble ever. The story is just too awesome.
ReplyDeleteI have a brother in Innisfail, AB.....or Red Deer. Any of you Hart Family members on the blog know if it's available on a cable system there?
ReplyDeleteThen straight into Wrestlemania I?! I might join you for that.
ReplyDeleteMolson.
ReplyDeleteNah, I'm not doing the Mania's
ReplyDeleteI'm never doing all the PPV's again this has been exhausting
Rogers in only available east of Ontario.
ReplyDelete2014 was too recent for me, I remember too much about the show and especially the Rumble match for there to be any surprises or unexpected elements for me.
ReplyDeleteI watched that video where the guy freaks out when Rock beats Punk in 2013. His girlfriend was kinda cute, I don't know what she saw in that fat fuck.
ReplyDeleteOr Lower Canada, since they're still in the dark ages of media distribution.
ReplyDeleteI thought they were siblings which would make more sense.
ReplyDeleteThey could have been, but she made her own video called My Boyfriend Freaks Out About Wrestling or something
ReplyDeleteI might watch all the Mania Rewinds. I watched 3 straight on Wednesday night
ReplyDeleteUgh and I'm not getting laid.
ReplyDelete2014 for the lulz!
ReplyDeleteMaybe we need the Mountie to investigate this
ReplyDeleteWas supposed to have a job interview over the phone at 2 p.m., but the guy hasn't called me yet. So I'm watching the 1993 Royal Rumble. Beverly Bros. vs. Steiner Bros.
ReplyDeleteI really liked Enos and Bloom in the AWA. But that Beverly Bros. gimmick pretty much guaranteed no one would take them seriously.
I also remember how pumped I was to see the Steiners in the WWF. Such a disappointing run.
Oh noes, I'll miss the thread live watch of the actual match...I have to go to dinner with a good friend of mine, think he's gonna ask me to be best man for his wedding.
ReplyDeleteA bunch of places canceled preorders. I don't know if it's the main reason, but one of them is a ton have gone up for sale on eBay. People are preordering as many as they can just to flip them online. They're even selling their preorders for like $1200. Unless Nintendo cranked up the release and made more available, a bunch of retailers were going to start cancelling the preorders. They all know they're going to sell every one they get anyways. They don't want the bad PR that's been coming from these limited releases where real fans either can't get them or have to pay through the ass.
ReplyDeletePat the NES Punk on YouTube did a video on this.
Daily Thread now up
ReplyDeleteIf Russo was the one interviewing you, don't expect to be called. He loves his swerves.
ReplyDeleteThat sounds more fun, best man is something every should do once
ReplyDeleteAnd then only once, because shit that job is annoying
I don't mind telling you I cried a little when Abeyance finally won.
ReplyDeleteThere are responsibilities beyond a toast at the reception?
ReplyDeleteGeez, that FrankenSteiner looked like it would kill a guy.
ReplyDeleteI love how Scott isn't even employed by the WWE yet he's doing more to convince people to buy the Network than the WWE is.
ReplyDeleteThey're fake videos.
ReplyDeleteAppleton Estate.
ReplyDeleteYou can use a fake address, though. Not sure if that's fraud.
ReplyDeleteThat seems to be Scott's stance.
ReplyDeleteThat sounds simple enough, that's for the help!
ReplyDeleteNo, that was Steven Richards.
ReplyDelete*stands up*
ReplyDelete*clears throat*
*straightens tie*
FUCK CANADA!
I still watch the Network for absolutely FREE in India, where no one is ever going to sniff the WWE Network for at least 3-5 years.
ReplyDelete> Use a friend's WWE Network account.
> Use Hola to change location to Chicago.
> Link 4KTV to Computer and enjoy WWE Network on the fucking TV.
NO PS3 NEEDED. NO MONEY SPENT. NO UNBLOCK US EITHER.
Hey fuck you, budday!
ReplyDeleteYes. Bachelor party, liquor, and blow. And someone has to pay for the hookers. Start saving NOW.
ReplyDeleteSo, when is that network thing coming to Australia?
ReplyDeleteI'm not your friend, guy!
ReplyDeleteAre you saying all jobbers look alike? That's jobberist!
ReplyDeleteWon't pay a nickel until it's available on Shaw Cable.

ReplyDeleteApparently $80 million isn't quite enough.
Just subscribed this afternoon - everything seems to work fine the UK now after that false start. Two minutes to set up the account then several hours of wrestling goodness thanks to Nxt Revolution. Its just a shame we have to pay 50% more for it.
ReplyDeleteShit, wrong thread. Sorry.
ReplyDeleteThe Greyhound of Justice?
ReplyDeleteIt's supposed to come to NZ early this year, I would assume the same for Australia. Mind you, who knows how much of a priority this part of the world is for them. WWE has completely flatlined in popularity in NZ, it's hard enough just to get dvds.
ReplyDeleteWho the hell needs the Network when I have crates full of dubbed VHS tapes?
ReplyDeleteThe stream was sad on numerous PPV's, #notevenworth99cents
ReplyDeletethis stinks to me
ReplyDeleteMatt Borne = awesome.
ReplyDeleteHe's not your friend, mate!
ReplyDeleteThe Network is BETAMAX quality.
ReplyDelete1992 disagrees, sir!
ReplyDeleteMan, it's tempting to get it, honestly. But at the same time, I don't want to support the current product (outside of NXT). And it's still the principle of the matter that I just want the Network here as it is in the US without any extra rigmarole.
ReplyDeleteWhat about all the parts of Manitoba and the Northwest Territories that lie east of a portion of Ontario?
ReplyDeleteOn PS4, can we delete the US PSN account and still have WWE Network App show up on our existing Canadian accounts? Thanks.
ReplyDeleteI know I can't tell the difference between Steven Richards and Mantaur.
ReplyDeleteAgreed. And while Flair winning by Hogan distracting/pulling on Sid fit well in that Rumble, I like that Benoit won clean as a sheet by using his smarts and resiliency.
ReplyDeleteIt is available in New Zealand, I've had it since August.
ReplyDeleteIt's already available in NZ, I subscribed the day it became available.
ReplyDeleteWell, shows how much attention I've been paying!
ReplyDeleteSeriously though, is it actually officially available in NZ? I can't be bothered with the hassle of setting up a fake US address etc..
I used all my real details. It's fully available here.
ReplyDeleteSo help a bit of a Luddite out: If I've got Rogers, I just sign up on the website and get full access, rather than the bastardized, only-on-a-TV-channel thing that they've been pushing here?
ReplyDeleteI am not trolling. The Golden Rule of Wrestling is "if it happens on camera, it's a work" The burden of proof is on you.
ReplyDeleteI used it very little, I've already seen everything I wanted to many times over.
ReplyDeleteI believe so.
ReplyDeleteLookout everyone...we're dealing with a real basses here. He even uses caps to show how giant his dick may grown when he reaches puberty.
ReplyDeleteDoes your payPal account have to have ONLY your bank account in it to work, or can it be set up with both your bank account and your credit card?
ReplyDeleteSame here, there is really no presence or interest for wrestling in Australia
ReplyDeleteHe's not your mate, pal!
ReplyDeletewww.entropay.com is what I used to get Hulu, WWE Network, US PSN, etc from the UK.
ReplyDeleteQuite simple to use, not too pricey in terms of fees.
as long as the subscriber still pays for it, I don't think the WWE minds that much.
ReplyDelete(the stations etc. that have the broadcast rights in some of those countries might have a different opinion though. it's pretty much the same as with Neflix - they don't really care where the ones paying for the content come from, it's the original owners of the content that do)
