  1. FIRST~ WEEEE

    ReplyDelete
  2. No excuse to give Reigns the title now

    ReplyDelete
  3. I posted the WWE.com link now as it just came up

    ReplyDelete
  4. Why the hell would they announce that?

    ReplyDelete
  5. Thank you Brock! Now we can watch you kick Reigns' ass and keept he title!

    ReplyDelete
  6. Since he had already revealed it on ESPN>

    ReplyDelete
  7. He has to win now. What do they do with him otherwise?

    ReplyDelete
  8. Now there's no reason not to cheer for Brock on Sunday.

    ReplyDelete
  9. I suppose he could drop the title due to shenanigans (think Austin at 17) and then spend the next year basically killing everyone and everything in the company.

    ReplyDelete
  10. I dunno, maybe announcing it actually adds intrigue to the title match. Now maybe a few more people will tune in to see if he retains.

Of course, keeping people in the dark would have the same effect.

The only foregone conclusion scenario is he announced he wasn't re-signing

  11. ღαґ√ ḉґεṧтøMarch 24, 2015 at 5:01 PM

So the waste of time is just going to keep going then? That's SO awesome!

I get that everyone thinks the same move over and over is a **** match but this does nothing for anyone. They still have to pay him an absurd amount of money to get nothing in return. No higher ratings. No higher "buyrates", nothing at all.

This is an even more obvious example of them being morons than the Daniel Bryan burial.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Yeah, Reigns is going to face a shitstorm from the fans on Sunday at it will be worse on Monday if he does indeed get the strap

    ReplyDelete
  13. Wonder if we get Brock vs. Rock anytime soon?

    ReplyDelete
  14. And he IS done with MMA. I'm sure Dana will make sure of that after being embarrassed on live TV.

    ReplyDelete
  15. ღαґ√ ḉґεṧтøMarch 24, 2015 at 5:03 PM

If he's gone for the next four months with or without the title, what difference does it make?

    ReplyDelete
  16. Having an unstoppable monster is cool. They just don't know how to properly pay it off.

    ReplyDelete
  17. I think if they have him actually show up more than once a quarter he will help quite a bit.

    ReplyDelete
  18. I imagine so. Seems like the Rock still wants that match to happen. Hopefully they don't extend Lesnar's reign just to feed him to the Rock though.

    ReplyDelete
  19. I doubt this deal is going to be like that.

    ReplyDelete
  20. No. He chose a limited schedule as his main factor.

He's the special attraction that a properly run Big Show should be.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Yes, we might still get Brock vs Bryan at some point...

Wonder if its roughly the same deal

    ReplyDelete
  22. ღαґ√ ḉґεṧтøMarch 24, 2015 at 5:05 PM

So...$500,000 per episode of Raw then? lol

Hey, we can get this guy to show up and not be able to cut a promo for only $26 million a year!

I'm kidding obviously but the idea that Brock is going to work harder now is absurd.

    ReplyDelete
  23. To prevent WM20 Lesnar reactions.

    ReplyDelete
  24. With much smaller hands of course

    ReplyDelete
  25. Could still work. Have him call someone out and say they're already dead and just don't know it. Then they live in fear until he comes for them.

    ReplyDelete
  26. BREAKING NEWS: Reigns ain't walking out of Wrestlemania with the belt.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Well I don't think anyone expects him to work house shows and travel all the time.

    ReplyDelete
  28. ღαґ√ ḉґεṧтøMarch 24, 2015 at 5:07 PM

I will be utterly stunned if he works more than 4 matches a year. Why would he negotiated himself a deal that makes him work any harder than the one he has now?

    ReplyDelete
  29. ღαґ√ ḉґεṧтøMarch 24, 2015 at 5:07 PM

I'm dying to know how much painting themselves into this dipshit corner is going to cost them. They literally replayed the exact situation that led to this whole "no one gets too big for fear they'll leave" in the first place. Astounding work really.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Because he can't fight anymore and UFC was a bluff?

    ReplyDelete
  31. How does this change your anticipation for Mania and your pick for the main event? I'm a bit more excited, but I still think Reigns will leave with the belt. I've got hope...but I think I'll ultimately be let down and be pissed like I was after the Rumble.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Seems like a weird venue to announce his resigning but I've got no problem with it. I like Brock. I still don't think his reign needs to extend much longer though even if he does retain at WrestleMania.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Biff Kensington Has a PosseMarch 24, 2015 at 5:08 PM

This is win-win. Now they have a bonafide abort switch to escape Reigns, and Vince's bank account gets raked. Glorious!

    ReplyDelete
  34. I'm thinking heel turn.

    ReplyDelete
  35. ღαґ√ ḉґεṧтøMarch 24, 2015 at 5:08 PM

I want Roman to win even more now, for no other reason than we can actually have a storyline revolving around the title.

    ReplyDelete
  36. And who cares if he only works four matches a year?

    ReplyDelete
  37. ღαґ√ ḉґεṧтøMarch 24, 2015 at 5:10 PM

People that want to watch wrestling matches lol

    ReplyDelete
  38. Reigns is getting pulped but he's going down a bloody mess a la Austin WM14, calling it now

    ReplyDelete
  39. Biff Kensington Has a PosseMarch 24, 2015 at 5:10 PM

What does it accomish for Brock to resign, then lose? Who does he wrestle? At this point, the WWE is almost forced to keep the title on Lesnar.

    ReplyDelete
  40. At some point Rollins has to win it. He still has 3 months but I can't see them waiting the whole time. My money is on this Monday

    ReplyDelete
  41. Maybe, but Brock as world champion with cena and Bryan as secondary champion would be better than world champ reigns vs Kane and big show.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Those people aren't watching WWE and if they are they are looking for love in a hopeless place.

    ReplyDelete
  43. It's funny, the UFC had a storyline about how big Brock's hands were when he first signed. His XXXXL gloves had to be specially made for him and someone (Herring? can't remember) wondered if this gave him a competitive advantage.

UFC fans enjoyed hearing about Brock's hands as much as we've enjoyed hearing about Big Show's.

    ReplyDelete
  44. So...is this going to be the first Mania main event match where a vast chunk of the crowd doesn't want the defending supposed heel champion to lose the strap?

    ReplyDelete
  45. Do you know Colorado adam?

    ReplyDelete
  46. I like Brock working 4 matches a year. I just don't like him doing it with the title.

I would have been happy with just 1 title defense between Night of Champions and Royal Rumble. Just 1!

In a perfect world I have Brock work 5 shows a year.

Rumble, Mania, Extreme Rules, Summerslam, and a Fall PPV.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Blood is banned.

When Batista bladed he was fined $100,000

    ReplyDelete
  48. 14 was Austin over Michaels

    ReplyDelete
  49. Honestly my money's on Rollins losing the case.

After 11 successful cashins in a row, 2 of the last 3 holders have failed to win the title. I say we go 3 for 4.

    ReplyDelete
  50. He's never been full heel and I think they stopped bothering with it. He's just booked as Brock Lesnar. Cheer if you want to they don't seem to care either way

    ReplyDelete
  51. Love it! You're screwed reigns! BELIEVE THAT.

    ReplyDelete
  52. ღαґ√ ḉґεṧтøMarch 24, 2015 at 5:13 PM

You're right, everyone should stop wrestling because WWE is ssooooooo bad, let them do something else that appeals to the fanbase!

    ReplyDelete
  53. Wow. I called this wrong. Brock got richer.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Rollins/Lesnar is kinda starting to replace Bryan/Lesnar as my Great White Buffalo match.

    ReplyDelete
  55. I see some people are thinking about things long term, but at the very least...doesn't this maybe save Wrestlemania?

    I'm happy about the move.

    ReplyDelete
  56. I don't think Brock cares all that much about losses and I don't think WWE is good at long-term planning. I agree that it makes complete sense for Lesnar to win, but WWE hasn't run a program that made sense for some time now.

    ReplyDelete
  57. He's the new Undertaker. He is a force of nature that exists beyond face or heel.

    ReplyDelete
  58. what I wouldn't mind is Heyman turning on Brock, reforming the Shield and costing him the title. Then Brock dismembers the Shield one by one to get the belt back.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Sunday: OK Reigns, 1 week until you take over the company!!

Tuesday: OK Reigns, lets work on selling those Germans.

    ReplyDelete
  60. It's not quite the same but Miz vs. Cena at WM27, the crowd was almost completely apathetic as to who they wanted to win. The entire crowd was just hoping the Rock would whip someone's ass, they were even beyond caring who got it first.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Biff Kensington Has a PosseMarch 24, 2015 at 5:14 PM

Why not see if they can pull off a swap at WrestleMania? Have Lesnar destroy Reigns, making Triple H and Stephanie hire Lesnar as "their" champion (thinking he can't be beat), and turfing Rollins. Let Seth go for revenge; Hell, it could even lead to a Shield reunion down the line.

    ReplyDelete
  62. Here's MY WMplaybutton book.

Middle of the show, Brock and Heyman come out. Brock's tired of waiting, let's do this now. Reigns enters through the crowd. They challenge his manhood if he refuses the match starting right now. Reigns says he's always ready.

Lesnar beats up Reigns for awhile. Lesnar makes a mistake, Reigns turns the tables...though Lesnar fights it the whole way. Distraction as Seth Rollins is seen, briefcase in hand, ready to run in and cash in. Reigns tries a roll-up...only gets one. Lesnar then proceeds to destroy Reigns. Desperation Superman punch...Lensar shrugs it off. Lesnar does what he did to Cena with Reigns and eventually takes the pin...and Reigns is completely out. Lensar...mouth full of blood, looking absolutely maniacal, BEGS for Rollins to come down and cash in... Rollins thinks better of it (as he is a chicken shit heel) and goes backstage. Lesnar and Heyman gloat. Reigns is carried out on a stretcher (for a bit of a rest and a retool.)

Cena vs Rusev goes on last. Stiff match...both men really beat the shit out of each other...Cena is battered but LOLCENAWINS...he collapses with exhaustion--HIT ROLLINS' MUSIC...as he rolls in and (possibly with some Authority shenanigans) cashes in his briefcase for the US title. Rollins and the Authority start a huge program against Cena (with Rusev thrown in there to keep things fresh) for the US Title over the rest of the year.

Yes...that would mean that a heel goes over at WM...but it would payoff Rollins, keep Cena relevant (they're never going to give up or change Cena, so might as well find something for him to do), and give Cena a reason to keep fighting the Authority (which obviously the WWE is going to keep doing no matter what we want, but at least this way it has some logic to it.)

If you want a big face moment...maybe have Sting come back to save Cena from the post match beatdown (especially if Triple H went over Sting in the match earlier).

    ReplyDelete
  63. ღαґ√ ḉґεṧтøMarch 24, 2015 at 5:14 PM

If they actually abort the Roman plan this is basically a waste of a Brock date. He's now just wrestling a b-list jobber that will probably be repackaged in 3 months.

    ReplyDelete
  64. I'm telling you... Lesnar holds the title for the next year... Austin challenges him at WM in Texas.

    ReplyDelete
  65. You're bad at having conversations.

    ReplyDelete
  66. People have said that a lot. I don't see Dean being the 3rd man again though. Maybe Orton?

    ReplyDelete
  67. And shows up this time!

    ReplyDelete
  68. Our VIKING SPACE LORD shall reign supreme and murder everything he sees for another year. This makes me happy.

    ReplyDelete
  69. I thought MITB was for World title shots only?

    ReplyDelete
  70. Biff Kensington Has a PosseMarch 24, 2015 at 5:16 PM

Better to abort now while the rocket is still on the ground than wait until it's already blowing up after takeoff.

    ReplyDelete
  71. If they do not pull the trigger on Reigns then they are writing him off forever. I still see Reigns winning and the Rock getting involved to set up Brock/Rock

    ReplyDelete
  72. Makin A Difference Reigns?

    ReplyDelete
  73. Makes more sense than anything Michael Xavier would say.

    ReplyDelete
  74. You must have gotten hold of some good stuff...

    ReplyDelete
  75. If they wanted to go with what we talked about last week.
Brock as champion who is "above" the story for the most part and Cena/Bryan as US and IC titleholders who elevate those to main event storyline belts.
I'd be 100% OK with that idea.

    ReplyDelete
  76. ღαґ√ ḉґεṧтøMarch 24, 2015 at 5:17 PM

You said no one that wants to watch wrestling should be watching WWE anyway.

Which seems to infer they aren't a wrestling product because I should not expect wrestling from it.

    Thus they should just quit.

    ReplyDelete
  77. Seriously, this one move made me buy Mania. I wasn't going to touch it, but now at least there is SOME suspense in the main.

    ReplyDelete
  78. We are further away from Austin/Michaels than they were from WM I. And by my unofficial count, HHH, Undertaker, Kane are all still wrestling on Sunday.

    ReplyDelete
  79. That's what the house shows look like. Cena is on top for one set, and Bryan main events the others.

    ReplyDelete
  80. You're right, according to Wikipedia.

    ReplyDelete
  81. Brock retains. Bray retires Undertaker. Next night on Raw Heyman does his usual boisterous hyping of Brock Lesnar. The music hits. The lantern is on. The fireflies are fluttering and the motherfucking man is here. You broke the streak but I broke the man. Extreme Rules. Chicago. COME ON BABY!

    ReplyDelete
  82. ...but I say do it anyway, because Authority says so.

    ReplyDelete
  83. ღαґ√ ḉґεṧтøMarch 24, 2015 at 5:18 PM

    And then.......what?

Austin is now the champ despite never wanting another match?

    Brock is still champ?

I mean seriously, where do you go from there? Austin just tosses the title on the ground on the next Raw since it won't have meant shit for 2 years anyway? That's feasible.

    ReplyDelete
  84. WWECW belt counted for as long as they bothered to try & make people care about that one.

    ReplyDelete
  85. I like it. Except COME ON BABY! makes it sound like Jericho.

    ReplyDelete
  86. I wonder if anyone thinks Brock actually gives a shit if he ever wins another match. He'd lay down for ME if the money was right.

    ReplyDelete
  87. I like that but they won't do it

    ReplyDelete
  88. This is a bad situation.

If brock wins he is a babyface champ that works limited dates.
if brock loses, he is clearly above the rest of the roster (so who does he work part time with) and have a lukewarm guy as champ.

elevating the belts by demoting cena/bbryan is disastrous for ziggler/bbnb/ etc... cuz all of them will not be on eithers level so some of those current ic guys are getting depushed/ttreadmilled.

The only thing I see having the chance of getting better is the tag card Cuz if the champ isnt doing the loop, it frees up time to try tags on house shows Before being put on tv.

I cant see more singles programs happening with the roster they have... there has to be more tags to get more guys tv time.

    ReplyDelete
  89. I know it's apples and oranges considering the time differences, but HBK and Rock both lost title matches at Mania before hitting their peak. In some cases, a big loss can be a catalyst for a fresh start.

Why the hell would we want to put all the faith in Reigns when there's so many signs it isn't working?

    ReplyDelete
  90. Brock against basically anyone else who isn't Cena/HHH is a completely fresh and interesting match.

He's even managed to avoid crossing paths with Orton somehow. Anything that isn't Brock/Cena part 50 would be worth watching. That's why I'm so excited by Brock coming back.

    ReplyDelete
  91. There is absolutely no way taker loses.

    ReplyDelete
  92. That was just me being excited at the prospect of it. Bray wasn't saying that.

    ReplyDelete
  93. Apologies if this was mentioned but I don't have time to skim all the comments. HHH tweeted that it's a multi year contract.

    ReplyDelete
  94. MAybe he'll get all his money upfront and just stop training and get spayed and turn up to WM32 to put Baron Corbin over looking like Adorable Adrian Adonis.

    ReplyDelete
  95. I wanna see Jericho challenge Brock now. "We'll have a war of words, on the TWITTAH!"

    ReplyDelete
  96. By the time Orton gets there he's on vacation again.

    ReplyDelete
  97. And Bray can lose to Brock without getting damaged, do something similar to Benoit/Raven in WCW where Bray never quits, just gets KTFO/passed out in submission.

    ReplyDelete
  98. --said most people last year.

    ReplyDelete
  99. I think they'd be writing him off as THE guy, but he could still have a couple of title reigns later on. I agree though that Reigns will get the win on Sunday.

    ReplyDelete
  100. I wonder if he's signed an ironclad contract?

    ReplyDelete
  101. As someone else said, there may be a shred of doubt about who goes over now during Reigns/Brock. I'm still on the fence if I want to order the show or not.

    ReplyDelete
  102. The dream (impossible) scenario there is Punk.

    ReplyDelete
  103. Nah. He's gonna do enough steroids now to be able to fight 3 bears at once rather than 2.

    ReplyDelete
  104. Beautiful/Loverboy Brock Lesnar would still murder 99% of the roster.

    ReplyDelete
  105. The thing is those guys had momentum. Pushing a not ready guy who has potential and having him lose is going to kill him, regardless if he is ready or not. If he isnt, they have heels built up to run with. Sure, he can turn heel but if that happens, the only face left is Cena. Lesnar/Cena is old hat. It has to be Reigns here, as dismal as it seems.

    ReplyDelete
  106. Can we get Lesnar vs Mark Mero now?

    ReplyDelete
  107. ღαґ√ ḉґεṧтøMarch 24, 2015 at 5:24 PM

I will say, if he's back and it's actually going to be for more than a match every season, at some point they MUST let Rollins get a countout win or something over him and heel that shit up for a good long while, both these guys are made for an angle like that.

And it works too because Brock will never ever ever waste his precious time on Raw so Rollins can call him out a'la Jericho/Goldberg constantly! Get your heel over and save hundreds of thousands of dollars!

    ReplyDelete
  108. I haven't watched a UFC PPV in a long time (cause there's so goddman many shows), but Mike Goldberg used to say "punches in bunches" a lot. Put him in Cole territory with me.

    ReplyDelete
  109. Any chance that this is a wwe fabrication ?

    ReplyDelete
  110. I like the idea of the two basically beating each other to death before Brock puts him away and then Seth comes out like the rat fuck he is and cashes in MITB. Gives him Lesnar, Bray, Orton, and every Babyface on the roster as challengers.

    ReplyDelete
  111. No. Espn would never have played along.

    ReplyDelete
  112. ღαґ√ ḉґεṧтøMarch 24, 2015 at 5:25 PM

Someone should definitely tell Dana lmao

    ReplyDelete
  113. I'd love to see Brock rock a Beautiful Bobby mullet.

    ReplyDelete
  114. ESPN video interview with Lesnar and Jonathan Coachman...

    http://espn.go.com/mma/story/_/id/12553309/former-ufc-champ-brock-lesnar-signs-wwe-closes-door-mma-career

    ReplyDelete
  115. For what it's worth, and it may be nothing, the WWE edited the boos for Reigns out of the YouTube video of Raw's ending, so they're apparently plowing forward with "EVERYONE LOVES ROMAN THE BOOS ARE A VOCAL MINORITY EVERYTHING IS FINE SHUT UP."

At the very least, it sort of ensures that this isn't all some long con where they're massaging fan backlash to pull off a heel turn when the time is right.

    ReplyDelete
  116. WWE was in serious/semi-serious negotiations with Goldie a few years back to be their lead announcer.

So they knew exactly what kind of annoying they were looking for there.

    ReplyDelete
  117. Thanks for making me feel old as fuck.

    ReplyDelete
  118. Brock sounds like he has matured. He knows he has to do what he has to do to keep everyone around him happy.

    ReplyDelete
  119. Brock/Orton would have totally made sense in 2012. After the Cena match book Brock against Orton and have him destroy Orton at No Way Out. Orton can sell the beating since he was off TV for months anyways and then Brock does the HHH match.

    ReplyDelete
  120. Brock is going to get such a monster pop at WM because of this news... complete opposite of WM20.

    ReplyDelete
  121. As long as he suplexes Reigns into oblivion, everyone will be happy

    ReplyDelete
  122. So...brock loses, but is still around. Who does he feud with? He already gave the "1" in the 21-1 to Reigns....so....?? Cena is done. Rollins isn't at his level. HHH has been done. Now what? If he wins, the WWE could do the underdog story correctly....but with who?

    ReplyDelete
  123. It's gotta be the original three. What's the point otherwise?

    ReplyDelete
  124. Geez, I hope they are no kids into Reigns going to WM on Sunday, that crowd is going to be animalistic for Brock, haha.

    ReplyDelete
  125. 5% or less.

On the one hand at ESPN he was with our old pal Jonathan Coachman and Michelle Beadle who's a huge wrestling mark. So we have people involved on their end who would not be opposed to playing along.

But on the other this is the exact opposite of how Dana White/the Fertittas do business. This would be a HUGE out of character experience for them.

    So that's a no.

    ReplyDelete
  126. I watched the Royal Rumble and one thing became clear. Crowds will buy Seth Rollins at Brock's level.

    ReplyDelete
  127. Harlan Leverage IIIMarch 24, 2015 at 5:29 PM

Jesus Fuck, dude, I know kayfabe's dead, but you couldn't wait until after the match before you copped to signing the new contract?

    ReplyDelete
  128. Then this essentially means Reigns is turning heel at WM, right?

    ReplyDelete
  129. No. I wouldn't put it past them to have slipped that line in Heyman's promo about uniting the titles to make it seem like one, but what pretty clearly happened is that Brock sold them a bullshit bluff about going back to MMA, Vince bought it and eventually caved to a raise for Lesnar.

    ReplyDelete
  130. I like the video afterward where Heyman comes out.

    ReplyDelete
  131. Yes. Instead of "Sufferin' Succotash" he'll say "What a maroon" to everybody.

    ReplyDelete
  132. Yeah, without the the title to put a target on his back I can't see where the story comes from. Knowing Vince and Dunn though he'll be feuding with someone over a spilt energy drink or they'll chuck money at part timers again.

    ReplyDelete
  133. Get him away from the Authority would help. Otherwise he's just third fiddle behind #2 HHH and #1 Steph.

    ReplyDelete
  134. Ain't I a stinker?

    ReplyDelete
  135. Probably means Reigns is going over, sadly.

    ReplyDelete
  136. Lesnar still can face Orton and Bryan if he needs fresh faces to fight. A heel Reigns would also have a lot of options with Orton, Bryan, and Ambrose.

    ReplyDelete
  137. The entire fucking arena booed Reigns' turn at raising the belt, LOL...this fucking company.

    ReplyDelete
  138. Big Show, obviously.

    ReplyDelete
  139. Brock should make it official and shave that beard into a Fu Manchu and dye it bright yellow, because he's officially 1987 Hulk Hogan on Sunday.

    ReplyDelete
  140. Good. Reigns can get murdered nice and proper now in one of the "main events" and we don't have to worry about the will-they-or-won't-they bullshit...or WILL they?

    ReplyDelete
  141. IT'S THE CIRRRRRCLE OF LIFE!

    ReplyDelete
  142. O/U 3: Not including Mania, WWE title defenses by Lesnar presuming he retains against Reigns.

    ReplyDelete
  143. You could turn Brock face easily at Mania, but more importantly, you could turn the entire Shield faction heel if they reform and jump Brock.

    ReplyDelete
  144. ღαґ√ ḉґεṧтøMarch 24, 2015 at 5:39 PM

A year? Or over the multiple years in his contract?

    Either way under.

    ReplyDelete
  145. I think he loses it by Extreme Rules, Summerslam at the latest.

    ReplyDelete
  146. Ambrose is lower than Ziggler now. Don't know about him.

    ReplyDelete
  147. I was pushing the idea of Heyman turning and aligning with Roman but that idea doesnt really work now that Brock re-signed. It would work if Brock was leving because Heyman needs a new meal ticket and jumps on the Reigns Train. But with Brock re-signing it really doesn't make sense.

    ReplyDelete
  148. ღαґ√ ḉґεṧтøMarch 24, 2015 at 5:41 PM

It also leaves Brock without the ability to speak.

    ReplyDelete
  149. Up vote for rat fuck

  150. Who he associates with is not nearly as much of an issue as the fact that he's lost to everyone he's feuded with. It's a testament to how great he is as a chickenshit heel and how great J&J are are understanding that less is sometimes more when it comes to heeling, but the dude has lost, clean, to and gotten his ass kicked by every single guy he's feuded with since he turned. The only feud he could claim a win in was with Reigns and that was because Reigns got injured (after pinning him clean on Raw).

That's a much bigger problem than whatever damage people who still live in 2002 think that HHH or (lol, really) Stephanie are doing to him.

  152. Exactly, which sucks. But, at least I can legitimately hope.

  153. Ahh. Until I clicked the link and read Vince's hash tag with the beginning of each word capatalized, I thought Vince stroked out and was mixing Congratulations with Outrageous.

  154. Brock could never talk and was over as fuck as a face in the mid 2000s.

Of course, it's 2015 and Vince may WANT him to go out there and recite cribbed Daffy Duck lines in his semi-literate farmboy dialect.

  156. I wonder how many "I'll owe ya, pal!" Vince said during negotiations.

I'm betting on at least half a dozen.

  157. Well, EVERYBODY beats Ambrose.

Seriously, though, every win he scores was really Kane's and then Dean's brain broke and he lost to a hologram lantern.

  160. He can get a voice box like Kane had.

  161. I may be crazy, but I thought Brock did fine as a heel during the end of his run. I loved the mariachi segment.

  162. Dancing Brock? But, he's not black!

  163. :Jamie Knoble walks past Reigns:
Jamie: Hey Roman sorry to hear about Wrestlemania. Maybe next year will be better.
    Roman: What?

Bryan: Roman, man. Look at it this way, at least you got to main event.

  164. He did. Of course, I dunno how much of a stretch semi-literate Midwesterner who isn't a fan of Mexicans was.

  165. Wow, just randomly watching the segments leading up to Mania last year. This CM PUNK chants were LOUD, but then again, anything Bryan did also got an insane reaction from the crowd.

  171. He won MITB, put Orton on the shelf for months, and tricked Cena into bringing back The Authority.

    ReplyDelete
  172. I would have loved liked seeing Brock in WWE and UFC simultaneously, but there's no reason he should risk it.

    ReplyDelete
  173. Correction: Kane won MITB for him, he put Orton out after a handicap attack and he brought the Authority back by attacking a cripple.

All great chickenshit heel things, but they did nothing to make him look legit.

  174. "That's all folks!"

  175. I think the angle they're going for this year is Bray 'killing' the Undertaker. Some sort of DQ thing where Taker doesn't actually lose, but Bray goes over as a monster who 'kills' the legend.

    ReplyDelete
  176. Correction: Rollins pulled down the briefcase, Rollins curb-stomped Orton through a cinderblock, and Rollins tricked Cena into bringing back The Authority.

  177. OK, whatever you say.

  178. Sylvester did have a lot of face/heel turns, now that I think about it...
