Did WWE become 2000 WCW?

Hi Scott,  Doesn't Taker/Reigns vs Shane/McIntyre echo 2000 WCW? Like seriously, this is what they're selling in 2019? What is the target audience?  Obviously WWE is still doing much better in overall revenue than WCW was, they're not losing money, but if they keep this up, IMO some negative effects just have to come sooner ...
