Aborted Cena/Elias W.M. Match

Re: the aborted John Cena vs Elias match at WrestleMania this year;  So were they planning to turn Elias yet again for this match, or was it supposed to be a face vs face contest?   We don't know.  Apparently they didn't think about it too hard either.
