WWE Films/Studio; What Happened?

What happened with WWE Films/Studios?  In the late 2000's “See No Evil”, “The Marine”, and “12 Rounds” were given wide theatrical releases, and “See No Evil” and “The Marine” both turned profits.(Not sure about “12 Rounds”, though.)  Then it just seemed from that point forward that almost all their movies were direct to video/DVD releases.  ...
