Gable in Retribution

I realize I'm probably putting more thought into this than WWE, but if Retribution's schtick is supposed grievances with how WWE has handled their careers, wouldn't having people stuck in stupid gimmicks forced on them by WWE, like Chad Gable, being the leader make sense? Yeah but in storyline Chad Gable likes his gimmick.
